If I could rate zero stars I would. I used to volunteer for a "rescue" that would pull dogs from craigslist and drop them off here. They were kept in outdoor concrete kennels for months at a time. Pj rarely cleaned the kennels and many time the dogs were covered in poop when I arrived to get them out on walks. There was ZERO regard for their welfare. Pj is a vile human. She yells at dogs and treats them horribly. I witnessed this several times FIRST HAND. Please, please do not take your dogs here. I beg of you. read more

PJ cares for the pets and doesn't give a hoot if there is dog hair everywhere. It's even in her business tag line. This place is funky and messy and full of a variety of critters, and they all seem happy as can be. Our dog stayed for a few days and he did great. He got to see horses and chickens and cats from his run, and socialized with other dogs from the safety of his enclosure. This isn't a free run, doggy day care kind of setup. Your dog will be in his or her own space with a place to sleep and a fenced run. I highly recommend PJ's for boarding. We used them when we moved to Hawaii and just last week when we came back. Our dog was picked up and dropped off at the airport. We were kept informed with texts and it really gave us a peace of mind. It took the stress of worrying knowing that our dog was taken care of. This was such a disappointment after the great reviews I read. I want to stop people from making the mistake I did by using PJs for airport drop off for an early flight. Not only was PJ sleeping when we were supposed to meet at the airport and she ended up being 40 minutes late! then after telling me how important it was to have my phone on me, she didn't have one and never called to say she arrived but lucky for us we were waiting outside and saw her wanting around with our dog and kennel. I am so disappointed and it made it a terrible travel day for all of us. read more

We had an exceptional experience with PJ. She went above and beyond picking up our dog Riley from the airport at 8:30pm and bringing him back the next morning at 4:00am to catch his 6:15am flight. PJ was very easy to work with and she was responsive to all emails, texts, and calls. The best part was she offered the same services as other companies in the area at a fraction of the cost! Alaska Airlines was shipping my 8-week old puppy from Salt Lake City to Boston and they essentially left her stranded in Seattle since her original flight was over five hours delayed and she obviously missed her red-eye to boston. It took pleading after misinformation was given to me multiple times by the airline to find PJs information and he answered the call for help literally and figuratively. Everything went well for my Sussex Spaniel who had to overnight in Seattle en route to Montana. I highly recommend pjs pet ranch. They provided a friendly and professional approach for my 2 dogs over night stay in Seattle from Honolulu. They have very good rates as well and work around the clock to make sure your pets are well taken care of, they even took both of our dogs on a walk after the flight. I'd say they are truly there to provide the best service possible for your pets rather than just to make money. Overall great experience and would reccomended them to anyone who wants the best for their pets. read more

My cat got from Hawaii to Boston and that's what matters most, but the communication was not great at all so we were over here wondering. We got a text when she landed and they confused our cat with someone else who had 2, so I sent them a screenshot of the required email exchange we had with them a couple weeks back. Then we never heard again. I texted or called to find out if she got off ok the next day and was told yes. I guess I expected some sort of update while she was there or an unsolicited update when she was dropped off. Overall, I would use them again Bc she was safe. But I would have appreciated a bit more communication! read more

My husband and I left our beloved bunnies here while we were on vacation for two weeks. The women who helped me get them settled was very knowledgeable about about rabbits and all the other critters running around the ranch. You can tell that they truly care about animals and have been around them their whole lives. They treated our buns to fresh greens and treats and had an enormous space for them to run around in. This is the place to go if you want your fur babies to feel at home while your gone read more

I could not have better things to say about this place. We are moving from Hawaii to Virginia in the middle of this whole covid thing and were required to have a layover in Seattle. They not only were giving us a great price to pick them up for a overnight stay, but were so accommodating when things changed last minute to a quick turnover from one flight to the next. I have boarded my dog 4 different times at PJ's since June 2013 to which my dog has had great care and attention. I recently had my 2 cats boarded along with my dog and PJ alerted me that 1 of my kitties may have kidney disease. She was spot on. You do not get someone that takes the time or have the experience to take notice of your animals, their discomfort or habits such as PJ at your pet store boarding facilities. You also do not get the space allotment the dogs and cats have at PJ's at the pet store boarding. Both the cat and dog accommodations are extremely generrous, with the cats having room to run and play and the dogs have their own generous kennel with a generous outdoor run. read more

We have a hard time finding kennels because we own a (not so) miniature pig. We found PJ after suspecting animal abuse at a prior kennel and couldn't be happier. We have boarded our pig there several times now and she has come back acting normal each time. PJ is very responsive and prices are reasonable. We showed up unannounced one day to check out the place and she let us right in and showed us around. There were other dogs there as well and they all seemed happy and well taken care of. She also allows late evening and weekend pick ups which is a big help to get our sweet girl back sooner and also save a little money. I would highly recommend her! read more

We usually call our regular boarder a couple days before vacation, so when we called and learned they closed their business, we were frantic!! Searching for a local boarder who takes pit-bulls can be tough. After calling at least 5 places, we came across Pj's Pet Ranch. They're close to the airport, fair in price, and had good reviews. We called with one day notice and they had room! Phew!! Our dogs stayed for 5days. They have different personalities and can be quite nervous in new environments, so of course I was worried on how they'd do. We picked them up around 1pm and they've been sleeping for the past 2hrs, which is always a good sign in my book. we'll definitely take our dogs back! read more

The folks at Pj's are amazing! On extremely short notice that were able to accommodate an overnight layover of a pup that we adopted from Kauai who had to connect through Seattle on his way to Denver. This was no small feat as the little guy didn't arrive until 1:00am and had to be back at the airport at 7:30am. Our dog, Ollie, is a rescue and can be fear aggressive. There are very few people he will go with but PJ does a great job with him and he actually gets excited when we get there and is always happy and content when we pick him up. I feel very comfortable leaving him with PJ and know he is in good hands. read more

My family and I are so grateful and pleased with the services that PJ and staff delivered to our pup, Maci, during an extremely busy PCS move. We had last minute flight changes that required our sweet girl to fly alone from HI to FL with a 24hr layover in Seattle. PJ immediately said she could accommodate us with pick up and drop off at SEATAC, and cared for Maci in the hours in between. She arrived on time to the airport, and her kennel was clean and put together just like we had it before she left HI. PJ kept us updated via text after each phase of itinerary was complete. I am so pleased with the services rendered by PJ and the staff of the pet ranch! I live in Georgia and needed to ship a puppy to Alaska. I didn't feel comfortable shipping him in one day as he would be in a kennel for over 30 hours. Instead, I was able to let him have an overnight layover in Seattle to split the travel time into two days. This created the new dilemma of finding someone to care for him during the layover. I called a few boarding places and didn't get a good vibe. I then contacted PJ and all of my worries and hesitation of having someone I didn't personally know pick up, take care of, and drop off the puppy we're all eliminated! I knew my puppy would be well cared for. Yesterday was day one of his big flight. PJ texted me an update when he was picked up and remained in contact with me while he stayed at the pet ranch. He finished his safe travel to Alaska this afternoon. With PJ, everything was so smooth, professional, and truly wonderful! The pricing was very fair and I appreciated the excellent customer service from the moment I called to finishing the transaction today. Have left my pup with PJ several times now, longest being a week. PJ and crew have taken good care of him. Location of business is just north of SeaTac airport, very convenient. Have not noticed any low flying aircraft bothering animals. For those wanting an upscale Eastside grooming experience for wittle Fluffy Foo-Foo, this business is probably not the best choice for you. PJ's is a little on the barny side. That's fine with me, I would not hesitate leaving my dog with PJ again. Service is good, communication is fine, prices are reasonable. read more

We boarded 2 dogs with PJ while our family went to Disneyland. She did a great job of caring for them. We were not looking for anything fancy--just that they were well cared for and that she was attentive to their needs. Neither of the dogs love to be away from home, but we appreciate the effort she put into trying to make them comfortable (even washing one of their dog beds). Prior to this we had boarded one of the dogs at the vet and it took weeks for him to act like himself again (lost lots of weight and was so traumatized acting). He was not happy at PJ's-very timid, etc. But he didn't lose any weight and he bounced right back as soon as he was home. So...she is doing something right for sure! read more
