This facility is the only one in Sutter in our area that has an ultrasound and nurse on staff for visualizing veins for the IV insertion. I asked! As soon as I was dressed in the hospital gown, Carly was the nurse who ably, quickly, and painlessly put in the IV line in a couple minutes. She had a competent and kind nature. I was very grateful as my MRI in February required 9 tries with lots of pokes and 45 minutes for a successful IV placement-all this happened while I was in the head cage midway through the MRI and I had to remain still. A bit of trauma remains from that experience. Jim was the MRI technician and he was no-nonsense, reassuring, professional, and all around excellent. The 3T MRI machine at this location was super comfortable and the head cage which keeps your head still was ample in size compared to others I've been in. The comfort factor of the machine was excellent. They had a film playing nature scenes and a radio station selection which helped to distract me. The MRI experience was 5/5 Signage to the imagining center was so poor we had to drive in a circle to find the suite which added unnecessary stress for a time sensitive check in. We followed the arrows but were led astray. Imaging is at the very front- and there are two separate imaging suites to top it off. There are three different medical entities in three very large multi suite adjacent buildings- Kaiser, Sutter, and UC Davis. It was also confusing to leave the imaging center to the lobby after getting dressed...again, better signs would help a lot. You are a bit confused after some of these tests.

I was finally seen at 9:30 (all those Urgent Care patients again....) So the key is to show up very early (on a weekday, btw) and bring a good book. The poor technician was rushing around like crazy. Ghastly.

I called the office less than a week ago and they were able to get me into my preferred location this week. I arrived to my appointment today and walked into a friendly staff, short wait time (was seen right on time), and a warm environment. I could not have asked for a better ultrasound tech. Ariana (Ari), is a doll! From the warm gel to explaining what I'd be feeling, she truly is there for patients. I arrived with a VERY full bladder and she made sure I was comfortable until I could use the restroom. She even shared a story to keep me distracted during the first part of the exam - the sweetest! For the first time, in a long time, I didn't just feel like a number in the office. Thank you, Ari and DHAI Roseville. 10/10 I highly recommend for all your imaging needs.

She made me cry!!) and she got more mad and asked me "DO NOT BREATHE ON ME!! MOVE YOUR HEAD TO THE SIDE!!!" I WILL NEVER GOING BACK TO THAT PLACE THANKS TO KELLY I MOVED MYSELF AND ALL MY FAMILY TO ANOTHER MEDICAL GROUP!!! Any woman should experience what I experienced that day!!! They should change their "dignity" name!!! ZERO STARS TO NON DIGNITY "health" the worst experience ever!

I will never return to Dr. Nelsen's office. I had been a patient there for about 1 year when I…read morereceived a bill for $103 relating to a routine office visit 8 months earlier. I had made my co-pay at the time of the appointment and did not know what the additional charge was for but assumed there had been a billing error with my insurance. I immediately called the third party billing company and left a voicemail including all of my personal and insurance information. I also left a message for Dr. Nelsen's office manager and never received a return call from anyone. About 30 days later I received a letter stating that Dr. Nelsen, "...will be unable to provide any further services until payment is received. This includes office visits, phone calls, prescription renewals, etc." I found this note to be outrageous. I had only received 1 bill prior and my messages were not returned. I called and left a message this time stating that I needed to cancel my upcoming well exam because I had received a letter that Dr. Nelsen was no longer willing to provide me medical care. One of the ladies from the front office called me back and was quite hostile and defensive and told me how wrong I was (e.g., I had not left any messages because she said their office manager always returns her phone calls and that Dr. Nelsen does not treat her patients poorly even though I felt this letter was just such an example). She said she would call the third party biller to get more information and before I could say thank you, she slammed the phone down. The third party biller called me a few minutes later and confirmed that my insurance had requested additional information regarding the appointment but no one had followed up. She said they would follow up now and no amounts were owed by me. Duh!! This was just an awful customer service experience. If you are going to suspend someone from getting medical care, you better be sure you have your facts straight. And if a patient calls and is upset about receiving such an upsetting letter, you need to be kind, listen and try to help, not escalate the situation by pointing the finger back at the patient and accuse them of lying.

Upon walking into the office, I was asked to scan my temperature, put a surgical mask on over my own, and have a seat. Having called ahead to see how the wait room looked, I knew that I would not be waiting for long. Soon, I was called back by the x-ray technician. He gave me a gown to change (partially) into in a dressing room across from his office, and instructed me to come in whenever I was ready. He was extremely professional as he helped me tie my gown, don the gonadal shield, set my braids to the side, and assume various positions for the imaging. He was very gentle and kind, which meant a lot to me. When the procedure was over, he instructed me that the radiologist would look at the x-ray, notate their impressions, and send them to my surgeon. Overall, I was in and out in about 45 minutes or less. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful, and the technician was quite efficient and professional. Obviously, I hope I don't have to do this again, but if and when I do, I would probably return to this location.
