I gave them a call and left a VM. John called me back within 30 minutes. He was very cheerful and asked what my problem was. I described my headache and the attempts I had made to solve it. He thought for a second, then from memory ( he was in his car) he patiently described how to drill down several windows to a particular setting. I would never have found this on my own and the setting had a name I would never have imagined. I did as instructed and rebooted my laptop. PRESTO! Problem solved! This call might have been 5 minutes long and he solved my dilemma on the fly for free. He longer has a brick & mortar store, but will make an appointment to come to your location. No one wants to feel like they are being over-charged for service (especially repair services for your computer and car...) and I left feeling satisfied that I was charged fairly and appropriately. The thing that impressed me the most about Atlas was the quick turn around for the work they accomplished. I took my broken computer screen in to get it repaired when I was out of town to another computer repair company and they said it would take them 4-6 days to even get around to looking at it! Jeremy was successful in doing the repair but still wasn't getting video signal, so we opted to order a new ribbon cable and try that. A few months later I called Jeremy on the results and he claimed the laptop was on his bench but he had lost my info and couldn't contact me. So now at least he had my contact, so I thought. A few months later I called again, and now he has no record of my existence, or my laptop. I have security footage of him picking it up at my house and he has call history going back a year and half but insists its my fault and I'm making it up.

He was able to solve a problem that involved a couple hundred GB lost memory, caught in a few…read moreinvisible files that were disabled, "zero" size. All the cleaning, trash reduction, etc. that are classic treatments for hidden memory and wasting memory didn't help return my C:\ drive to where it was a few days earlier. Despite my "tops" anti viral software, a virus attack had replicated my photos to 500+Gb size. At the same time, there was a hidden overload of old years' backups. Putting my non-tech language aside. The service I received was perfect*****. In addition, in the process, we managed to fix a small hardware disconnect that existed from a prior service elsewhere. Having worked with computers since the "cards", i'd think experience if not EGO would solve all challenges. But no. i am p-l-e-a-s-e-d! To have had such good help !

This is my second time using Justin's remote repair services and it was quick, easy and convenient. Computer repairs are like auto repairs, there is no convenient time for either. As a freelance writer with looming deadlines--I need my computer! I set up an appointment through the website in the morning for that same afternoon. Then, I was sent an email with instructions to allow access to remotely repair my computer. Justin called me before and after my session to explain everything. It was nice not having to pack up my laptop and have it sit in a shop for several days. I don't know if any computer repair places are open right now and for $39 (he even went over the 1/2 hour repair time and didn't charge extra) and his expertise, it's a great deal!
