This was particularly frustrating and suspicious because I had already paid $200 for a 3D scan -- a scan that, by its advanced nature, is supposed to show these exact details before the procedure begins. It felt like I was being upcharged for something that should have been detected and disclosed in advance. When I calmly pointed out that this felt like a scam and was ethically questionable, I was met with immediate hostility from the office manager, Linda. Instead of engaging in a professional dialogue, she became defensive, removed the $400 charge, and then had the audacity to tell me, "You should just be thanking us that we took it off," as though I owed them gratitude for not being overcharged for something I never agreed to in the first place. Later, when I attempted to call and speak to her respectfully, she cut me off and snapped, "Don't call me love," in an unnecessarily aggressive and disrespectful tone. Her overall behavior was unprofessional and dismissive -- especially considering I was trying to resolve a legitimate concern about transparency and billing. What stood out even more was her attitude when I said I would be writing a review about my experience. She brushed it off and essentially said, "Go right ahead," making it clear she had no interest in accountability or improving patient care. On top of all this, I had the same procedure done a year and a half ago at a different dental office and only paid $300 with insurance. The discrepancy in price, coupled with the surprise charges and aggressive attitude, raises serious red flags about this office's billing practices and ethical standards. To be completely honest, I couldn't help but feel that Linda was especially dismissive because I'm a Black patient who dared to speak up and question what was happening. I didn't come in yelling or disrespectful -- I came in informed and concerned, and I was treated with contempt for it. Patients deserve honest communication, ethical billing, and to be treated with respect -- regardless of their race or background. I will not be returning, and I hope others take note before trusting this office with their care.

A big filling needed to come out, got my temporary crown & then waited to see if a root canal was in my immediate future. Luckily my nerve wasn't affected (trust me, at 65+yrs old. I've had a few drillings that turned into root canals). Dr. Yuri used a scanner (with a tool that scans your tooth) to make the permanent crown. Too high tech to explain but my new crown fits perfectly! I'm so relieved with the outcome. I highly recommend this practice.

I knew I was going to love working here from the very first day. Dr. Walters truly cares for his patients and his pricing is very fair. Mary Ellen is the hygienist and I just had a cleaning from her and it was by far the best cleaning I ever had . She is perfection. I was in need of a root canal, face swollen, extreme pain. Dr. Brand came into the room, said he would take new x-rays but it was only a consultation. I said why would I have you take x-rays if your not going to treat me? - He said, "Alright, well then", pushed his rolling chair and left the exam room. I didn't even see what he looked like. Although I know it was not the receptionists fault, when I said I cannot believe that the Dr. won't treat me, she said again your appointment was only for a consultation, and everyone in here is in pain. I went home in tears, in pain, made a few calls and found an endodontist that would treat me same day - He said that all root-canals are emergencies and should be treated at the time of the visit. That is why they are specialists, to fix what the dentist cannot do especially when they are in extreme pain. I very rarely write a review, but I also never experienced pain like this before, and wanted to let anyone know who is making a new appointment with this Dr. to make sure you specify you need immediate treatment if you are suffering from oral pain.
