AWFUL Experience! My husband's company put on a huge Halloween Party for its families. The company rented equipment from Plan-It Interactive, which included a zip-line, trampoline, obstacle course and rock wall. My 9 year old daughter was in line to climb the rock wall at 5:45, 15 minutes before the party was scheduled to end. Two representatives from the company, on two separate occasions, told my daughter that she would be the last climber. At 6:15, a different representative came over and cut the line off 4 kids before my daughter, unlike we were told initially. My daughter was, of course, devastated and therefore visibly upset. She had just waited in line for a half an hour and told that she would be able to climb. Then, it was yanked away from her! The other 4 kids in line were upset as well, along with their parents. I told the representative that this was unfair, being that my daughter was expecting to climb for the past 30 minutes. He said that it "wasn't him", that he was to shut down the wall right away. I was not concerned with whose fault it was, as I was watching my daughter bawl. I explained that it was unfair to her, and asked why we were getting different stories from different representatives. He was unconcerned and kept "shutting down" the wall. When I asked for the name of his company, he replied, "I don't know". Another representative came over to shut down the wall and was just as rude, as he looked at my daughter sobbing and said it was about money. I asked him for the company name and he replied "Blueprint". I asked where the company was based and he nervously replied "everyone knows Blueprint - ask anyone". I reiterated that my daughter was upset, and then he said that he had 3 kids at home and that he gets it (after saying that it was about money, really?????) He blamed my husband's company, saying that they were told to shut down at 6:00. With all that had been said and demonstrated, it became clear to me that this company was not being paid after 6:00, and therefore concerned only with their bottom line, and NOT with their unfulfilled promises to the children, let alone the children's feelings. Feeling at this point that the representatives in this company were being dishonest, as I saw another representative walk by, I took a look at his shirt. Sure enough, the company was not "Blueprint", but Plan-It Interactive. All of this being said, I understand that there needs to be a time to close your attractions; however, the way that Plan-It Interactive handled this situation was unprofessional, dishonest, unpleasant, and disappointing a large group of children. I will never utilize their services, and I would recommend that you do the same. read more
