I joined this location recently and have been very happy with the cleanliness of this PF. I enjoy the staff and find them to be very friendly and helpful. I'm one of the few that arrive at 5am. Recently they have had the staff not showing up to open up the doors. It is disappointing that I set my alarm and get myself up and drive the 10 minutes to get there to find the doors still locked. I hope they can get this issue resolved. read more

Real hard pressed to find a gym that is more affordable and pleasant than this one. The best point by far is the atmosphere, as the "judgement free" mantra is plastered everywhere, and it's the only gym I've ever been to that has an equal measure of people who are huge and clearly work out often vs those who are just getting started or are trying to lose a significant amount of weight - and all are completely comfortable with whatever those goals are. The staff are friendly enough, always saying "hi" and "bye". Pizza night every first Monday makes a lot of people happy and for $20 a month membership, one can use other PF gyms and use the tanning beds and massage tables... very good perks! For $10 a month you get access to the gym part and locker room, still a heck of a good deal. Tons of treadmills, dumbells and weight machines but *no* free weights for bench press or squat, etc. Overall I do highly recommend this place as I now go here at least five times a week, but there are definitely some things I'd recommend to improve: 1. There needs to be another section of coed/outside lockers. One section is not enough. 2. A board for keys only would be nice, rather than meatheads using up an entire locker for literally just their key chain. 3. The 30 minute training area needs to have someone on staff sterilizing the machines so those using it can keep moving. 4. Ab specific small area should be completely replaced by other machines. It can be incredibly difficult in the evenings to get to some and virtually nobody uses this are no matter what time of day I've been. Doesn't mean it isn't used, but compared to how many people miss out on the chin up and cable crossover machines I think this is a no-brainer. All tose being said this place is clean, friendly and awesome. It's fantastic to have PF in Belton and I'll likely be a member for a very, very long time. read more

Have been a member of planet fitness for over a year, almost 2. I have a black card which I pay more for, to be able to go to multiple locations and bring guests to the gym. I have had great experiences until now. Today, I tried to bring a guest to the Belton location. I logged in as always but was stopped by the manager that my guest needed to sign in. A "policy" to which I have never been asked to do so before, but to which she reports is always enforced. I tried to comply, and follow the link process for him to sign in. Standing at the desk for 15-20 min while my quest tried to make the link work. It wasn't working. I asked her if she could sign him in manually, or like every. Single. Time. Before, just let us in as I had clearly already signed in with my black card. She said she was willing to help us if I didn't have an attitude. To which, I said yes-please sign him in manually. To which, she just tried to start the link process all over again. I said I wanted to complain, to which her reply was good luck-it'll just come to me. And then tried to blame me for ruining her day with my attitude, as if she were some kind of victim in this process, and as if she was actually trying to be helpful and not just pretending with no actual solutions. If you value costumer service or using the gym membership you pay for, don't go to the Belton location. Waste of time and money. We left without working out, and I do not have time today to go to another location and work out. But honestly, thinking I'll look at other gyms that want my money to let me work out . read more

Simply: not. a. fan. The equipment is VERY cheap! I have this place a good few months try and I was very unmotivated to work out and I'm someone who has trained for more than 10 years. The atmosphere is strange. Almost uncomfortable if you are in decent shape. They give their members pizza and bagels a few times a week which I think is absolute sabotage. Tanning beds do nothing. And I mean nothing. I think overall the place is a scam. read more

So far so good. I started my membership in September of 2019 as the $11 a month level. I upgraded recently to use the body enhancement booth as well as the massage areas. There is the occasional situations of someone trying to passives aggressively harass/shame others for what they choose to do or how they do it. But I still get done with what I'm there to do. Get back in shape at a safe pace for someone who has MS and has had heart failure. Also, it would be a good idea to make sure the tops to the spray bottles are on completely. I've gone to use a few for wiping down equipment after use and the top almost dropped the bottle. read more

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I can honestly say that cleanliness must be one of their mottos. I can always count on a treadmill and a variety of things to watch on their tvs. read more

I have always had "ok" interactions here. I sent in paperwork to cancel my membership, and was told I would be refunded the annual fees just charged to my card. It never happened, so I called back. The man who answered my call was super rude and impatient when I explained the situation. He said there was nothing he could do so he didn't know what to tell me. I was asking for an honest refund due. I don't feel I should pay for the annual fee to a membership I don't have. He said his manager didn't work weekends, and she would call me Monday. It's been 3 weeks, and no call back. Very unprofessional in my opinion. read more

Very clean, very helpful staff, staff has taught me a lot by going there. This franchise gets 5stars, but planet fitness as a whole could be more courteous with the billing and lack of annual fee reminders to come out, I joined in November 2014 forgot about annual fee coming out in 1/2016 and it bounced my account with 4overdraft fees, an acct I only use for ACH monthly things, should warn you week ahead in case you forgot or in case you want to change payment method . They did nothing to help me and I got no apology. And the reply from Corp Lori was very rude ,don't be passive aggressive with me I will not be leaving Planet Fitness and so will two of my friends because of that comment expect some kind of compassion from corporate not sorry you forgot next time write it down I will be showing my Planet Fitness Gym manager this as I am canceling my contract read more

Staff is friendly, ALWAYS machines open to work out on. Take my advice and just get the $10 membership unless taking a guest is important. The massage chair and hydro bed are cool but they don't help you get fit. For $10 a month it's the best deal in town! read more

This is a gym for the everyman. If you're a competitive athlete, powerlifter, or Crossfitter, this probably isn't your place, but for most people looking for a place to work out, you can't beat the price and convenience. The Belton location is always well-staffed, always clean, and the machines are well-maintained. It does get pretty crowded, especially at peak times, but it's a popular place. Never had an issue, though - even when the place is packed, people are generally courteous and there are enough machines and stations to support what everyone wants to do. It gets the job done and they do a good job keeping the place up. read more

I will never go here again. It was a ok gym. They dont remind when your membership is up. I cancelled on may 31st and the next day $43 came out my account with no warning and when i called about it theh said it was annual fee and they wont do anything or give me my money back, but tried to reassure me they tslked to the person who did it and he wont do it to anyone else. Like who fucking cares you talked to him. The manager and staff act stuck on stupid. Fuck planet fitness. read more

As someone that had been a member of the local community center, I can say this place is way better. Super duper clean. There are always machines to use. You cannot beat the price for all you get. The tanning beds are great. I would have to agree with Lou, the showering is awkward, but very clean and updated. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. read more

The folks who work here are always as nice as can be. Mostly seems to be younger kids but they are always pleasant when my wife and I go in to use their equipment. The price is very good and we plan to stay here for awhile. The location is close too. read more
