They had Smith machines, but no free bench press, incline or decline stands. That was sad because today was chest and triceps. I finally seen the "famous" lunk alarm, but was so confused. They don't like people carrying a gallon of water, but no shoes and extremely skimpy shorts where the booty hands out is acceptable? After finally coming to a Planet gym, I'm glad I'm not a full time member because they have too much cardio machines and not enough free weights. It was the smallest rack of weights any gym has had. I love the combination of classes they offer through the day from 5 AM till 6 PM. This location decided to being yoga into the mix with HIIT workouts which I find highly effective. Shred415 is a mix of cross fit training. First you start on the treadmill or deck for about 15 minutes then switch. So if you were on the floor doing your cardio you go onto the treadmill. The point of it is to increase your heart rate and get the most out of the 60 minute class. At Shred415 it's not just a gym it's a community or family that has your back from the trainers to the people that show up to class with you to support you along the way in your fitness journey. I love all the trainers here and haven't had one bad class at Shred415. Just stop and see for yourself. First class is always free and right now they have a great deal going on for the holiday's.

The positive of this is, after being a member of Orangetheory Westerville since it open in late 2016 at the age of 57, my doctor said "that by continuing to exercise and particularly the Orangetheory model of lower impact it helped in staving off my RA, and also by continuing to attend classes with some modified exercises (for my wrist) my RA should not progress rapidly and maybe not at all" if that isn't a reason to join I don't know what is ! I visited after work for the first time at around 5 PM. The facility was as expected: a huge room with a large number of cardio machines, free weights, universal training machines and a 30 minute circuit space. There are gender specific locker rooms with changing stalls and showers as well as the aforementioned tanning, massage chairs, and HydroMassage Since I was new to the brand and location (I joined via the app with no human contact) I asked for a tour of the facility. The space was very clean which impressed me. The locker room, showers, changing stalls and toilets all looked good. I was surprised that there is no towel service and you bring your own lock, no self locking options here. I used the treadmill, locker room (purchased a lock from PF for $5) and changing stalls. I would say the facility is what I would expect for the price. Not an expensive fancy club but a basic space where you can meet all your workout needs. I'm pleased with my membership and the friendliness of the staff. One thing my tour guide left out was there are sign up sheets for the amenities like tanning and massage. Don't forget to sign up!
