This place is terrible. It's so hot inside that building you can't breathe. No matter when you go there is someone sitting on a machine playing on the phone, they literally sit there for over an hour staring at their phones. Not one employee says anything it's like F you, dirty? The trash is usually overflowing with paper towels that ppl just throw them on the floor. It's a filthy! I wouldn't even care if they would enforce that ppl not working out and taking or FaceTiming on the equipment, it's terrible. read more

I joined here two months ago with a black card membership for myself and a family member as the gym my son owns is locating and shut down for a few months. I never thought I'd be at a planet fitness but this location is great and very clean and great hours and what can make or break a gym the front desk workers are great especially assistant manager Chris who signed us up and took care of a couple billing issues as my bank thought they were sending double bills unaware that I have two members I'm paying for. Charged a bogus $15 "late" fee for a $10/month membership my very first month. They claim the draft from my checking account did not go through but there is no reason it should not have gone through. In case you wondered how they can stay in business charging $10/month, now you know. When I called on the phone, they said I would have to speak to someone in person about the unexpected charge. When I went in person, they said there was no one there who could assist me and I would have to come back when a manager was there. I'm completely dissatisfied with the hidden annual scam fee of $49 that is never mentioned in the ads and not taken at the time of the monthly fee. Beware, it's taken on the first of the month!!!! I walked in to open a membership and the manager Christain looked me up and down and said "It's too late for your big ass. No gym membership can save you. You need a BBL." I don't mind the actual gym but they have closed several times now with no notice and no warning. They are closed now and the sign on the door says it's because they lost power but I can see that they clearly have power. The website says it's for maintenance issues but give no indication when they will open again. This has happened several times recently that I've arrived and they are closed. I need a reliable gym so may look elsewhere in the area. read more

I've been going to planet fitness for about 10 years but this location in Dracut changed management and staff and they are the most unprofessional people ever as they sit there at the desk telling people they can't bring bags to the gym and then laugh at them and make jokes.the gym manager Christian is a rude person and is never there so it's impossible to even bring up any concerns. I took the time to call corporate to explain what was happening in the that specific location and they said they would reach out to the regional manager Erin hillman which she never reached out to me until I finally had a conversation with Christian And he said if I had a problem with the gym he would revoke my membership of 10 years in planet fitness I which 8 of my employees attend to planet fitness as well in which I pay for there memberships.then I finally recieved a phone call from Erin hillman and she was very rude stating that my membership was canceled because of complaining to her employees so for having freedom of speech and saying what was happening the Dracut gyms staff and regional manager retaliated and canceled my membership. read more

Ok folks, at the end of the day, this is a Planet Fitness, not Equinox in boston, so just keep that in mind. For a planet fitness and $10 ($20 in my case as a black card member), this gym is great. Pros: 1) This gym has plenty of cardio equipment, it is very difficult to want to use a cardio equipment and none being available 2) they recently added 4 stairmaters, which is the best thing this gym has done 3) they have 5-6 tanning booths and several massage equipment for black card members, which is a good perk 4) The staff is awesome, Benjamin, Makayla, all are great people and very friendly 5) the gym is very clean, i've never had an issue with it 6) The gym is 24/7, which is amazing. I cant stress how important this is, and i love it. Cons: not really a con, but sometimes parking can be a hassle. Other than that, keep in mind, this is a planet fitness gym, and in my opinion not a hardcore "lifting" gym. So for a "decent workout", they have all the right equipment. I personally dont lift here (i lift at gravity fitness in dracut), but still, for a planet fitness, this gym has the right equipment Overall, this gym is great. read more

F**k thisplanet fitness specifically its "ran" by a bunch of know nothing sh!ts that have no clue how to be professional. That being said i was a member since opening got targeted by an employee, told him F off after trying to intimidate me,the so called mngr Emily was a clueless C*#t and never bothered to do anything but act like i wasnt a 4 yr. member with no previous issues. Having come from LA Fitness in Connecticut and in Ohio, I knew the next gym my H and I patroned would be a definite downgrade. Alas, the closest LA Fitness is all the way in Stoneham (it's 15 miles away, but with traffic that's almost a half hour's drive)... womp womp. The search for a local gym facility begins. This gym is located on a new lot shared with a small business and a Family Dollar in Dracut off Pleasant St/Lakeview Ave. The lot has a good amount of parking for each establishment. The parking lot that hosts the gym is obviously the most busy... but you'll never be pressed in finding a spot. I will note that due to its position atop a hill, it can become very windy (something I've found cumbersome since becoming pregnant), but it's obviously not a caveat- just something to note. The staff is very hospitable and very willing to check in my H and I (our home gym is in Nashua). It's a couple of minutes' check-in, but it's worth the amenities of the "Black Card." The lobby, and the entire gym itself, is very clean. It's actually the nicest and cleanest Planet Fitness I've ever been to. The machines are well-maintained (due to age or due to maintenance, I'm not sure) and are always clean. It's also nice that there are a great number of trash receptacles, paper towels and spray bottles to wipe down the machines after use. The same can be said about the locker rooms, lockers, bathroom stalls and showers (although I've yet to try the latter). Moreover, the massage chairs are very nice as well... and the hydro-massage things seem lovely, but have been out of order the times my H and I have come in. It's no LA Fitness with its commendable amenities (pool, jacuzzi, racquet ball courts, basket ball courts, free babysitting, etc) and amazing customer service (easy to cancel and with no fees as long as at least two months' notice is given), but you get what you pay for. I will say that as long as one surpasses the year contract, or at least doesn't cancel the membership within its year of infancy, there should be no worry for cancellation fees, etc. It is very annoying that there are annual maintenance fees, but that's what happens when you pay $22/month for a membership. read more

Had a bad day at Planet fitness in Dracut today. My membership expired and they told me the new price is 70 % higher than what I have been paying. My wife and I have been a member since they opened. I asked for the owners name and was told they can NOT give that out. I could not believe that was possible. Who hides from loyal long time paying customers? I expect that form my congress person and us Senator. Not a local business. I drive past 3 gyms to go to planet fitness. time to look around for a new place to work out. I was only a member for 3 weeks when it became apparent to me that the no "lunks" advertising was only that. One of the main reasons I joined was the 30 miniute self=directed HIIT area. I constantly had to remind equipment squatters that it was, as the tiny sign in the area indicated, for circuit training only. Several lunks basically told me to go to hell. I also ran into lunks reserving equipment by putting their keys on it while they worked out on some other piece of equipment. Lunk-free. I think not. Staff doesn't seem to care. I've belonged to many other health clubs that never made the lunk-free claim and never encountered what I have at this club. Cancelling immediately. read more

Great Gym. The manager Matt is excellent. Place is always clean and the staff is always top notch. If the planet fitness franchise could model this gym for customer service and friendliness this would be it. It starts with the owner/management and ends with the staff. I have been a manager for years and they do an excellent job here and I'm proud to let everyone know how wonderful the staff is, and the consistency of the experience. I don't review like this often but this gym deserves it especially compared to other planet fitness facilities. The energy here is top notch. It's pretty good. The massage chair and hydro beds are clean and good. The whole gym is clean, even my men's bathroom and locker room and stalls. Mirrors are clean as well. Staff are great too, just the bye on the way out can be a bit awk! This site also has ample parking spaces. The worst gym I have ever been a member of in my life. The gym staff is disrespectful and they over charge/ rip you off membership dues.

The only reason i didn't give it 4 stars is because a lot is lacking for floor workouts. They don't have an ab room, more like an ab corner, and no medicine/yoga balls. Still, hours and parking are convenient, staff is very friendly, and price is very reasonable. It took all of two minutes to sign up. You'll never be stuck waiting for a cardio machine. read more

Great gym, great value. We're loyal members; we were members of a NY Planet Fitness before we moved to New England. The Dracut gym is much better, and we're glad to have found it. Cory, the current manager, and Barry, the club trainer are exceptional. They help ensure a great experience for all concerned. Some of the wish-it-were-there items like bosu balls aren't under the control of a local club; corporate drives what equipment is offered. Still, although we COULD go anywhere we want to for fitness facilities, we don't want to go to other than this Planet Fitness. read more

I'm not the Planet Fitness type, but I have to give credit where credit is due. I moved to the area about 2 months ago just as the PF opened. Very pleasant staff, the gym is always clean and there has never been an issue with the machines. I realize the place is brand new but it's being put to use, and the management is certainly staying on top of the upkeep. 24/7 is a huge bonus, never gets too crowded and for $10/month, I really couldn't justify joining a more expensive gym that was further away. If you need to toss your weights around and grunt, this isn't the place for you, but I consider myself more a lifter than a cardio guy and this place suits me just fine. read more

You can't call yourself a 24 hour gym if you're only open 24 hours 4 days a week.. Friday night hours seem to be getting cut shorter and shorter. I work late on weekends and can never get to the gym after work because they close too early. read more

General Manager is very unprofessional! Called to speak with a Manager regarding my bill being overcharged, spoke with General Manager Emma and stated she would have to look into it and call me back. When she called back she said she was not able to help me, I was going to have to deal with it. She said she spoke to her boss and they said there was nothing they could do. I asked if I could speak with the person she spoke with that made that decision and she said she couldn't do that. I asked her why she couldn't give me the information to speak with the person that made the decision and, Emma said she just couldn't and hung up.
