The environment is bright, open and inviting. I was welcomed from the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out; everyone was incredibly friendly and gracious. I took a rowing class with Jordan, he was fantastic. I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable about fitness, but also about rowing. He was super helpful with technique (rowing is not my forte, but I do enjoy it). Also, given we are in covid, I must mention the gym was clean, Jordan was conciliatory to maintain social distancing when we had our masks off and everyone sanitizes their equipment thoroughly. Thanks so much for the workout SLS! I will definitely be back!! My only business suggestion is to put some signage on the building because you have a phenomenal space I think is being overlooked by some. I've been going to SLS Fitness for a month and I love it. I feel stronger than ever. When you walk into SLS, you'll notice that there are no treadmills or weight machines. Instead you get 30 minute classes that will get you super fit. This is a sampling of the classes offered at SLS - - Metabolic Effect (a rest based circuit workout with weights) - Boxing Technique - Interval Boxing - TRX - Yoga - Advanced Circuit Training - Strength Training - Boot Camp The schedule is posted on the website and emailed to members daily. I've tried a few of these and I haven't been disappointed. My first class was Metabolic Effect with Sherri. This class kicked my butt, but it's rest based. The metabolic effect classes are designed to increase metabolism. The class starts with a warm-up, then circuit type exercises that work multiple muscles, picture burpees, push-ups with a row, squats and lunges with some kind of back/arm workout. In this class, you'll work as hard as you can with whatever exercise is being performed, and then you'll rest when you're out of breath and can't perform another quality rep, and when you're ready you join in again. The class finishes with "sprints" these could be actual sprints or some other way of pushing yourself at the end like mountain climbers or jumps and a cool down/stretch. After my first class, I had the biggest exercise high of my life. The Interval Boxing class (kick boxing) on Saturday mornings with Sherri is the most energetic class I've ever taken. The music is blaring and I'm sweating like crazy, and I'm LOVING it. I've also taken classes with Susan, Ann, Mel, and Steven, they're all great. If you're a beginner, don't fear. There are plenty of classes for you too. I took the beginner TRX class, the movements were broken down and the trainers watch and help you to make sure you're doing things right. I brought my mom here to try out a beginner classes and the trainers were super supportive. She went back on her own the next week. There is a focus on health at this gym, not just bulging muscles. Aspects of health and nutrition are discussed through email, during class, and at brief seminars. You can buy supplements here and you can get post workout smoothies. If you're looking for a new way to challenge yourself in a fun and supportive environment, give SLS a try, it's awesome. read more

Sls is what I feel like I've been looking for in a gym, but could never articulate. A place where the classes are hard af and encourage me to push myself? Check. Welcoming of all fitness levels? Check again. Focused on overall health and not you weight or pant size? Triple-check. Convenient 30-minute classes that don't feel like a giant commitment? Check everything cause this place is the BEST! There's even daycare for people who need to bring little ones! This truly is a great place to come and get into shape, body and mind. You can't beat this gym for the cost to join. Staff is awesome. They appreciate the veterans, Fire and police as well as families memberships. From my experience, other gyms could care less about the above mentioned. The facility is clean with plenty of space. I belonged to a similar gym a 1/4 of a mile from my house for 3x the cost. I get just as good a workout or better at SLS. I could not be happier with my decision to join the SLS family. read more

Nothing but great things to say about SLS Fitness. The culture of this place is what keeps me coming back. I work in sales where my hours are very long and unpredictable and it's often hard for me to go there consistently. Every time my wife goes in without me, she always comes home telling me that the staff was asking about me. It's this kind of personalized attention that you don't get at the big gym franchises. It's not overly crowed and I really enjoy groupy atmosphere. You can tell everyone is there for the same reason and you have unlimited support if you need it. read more

I've been a member for over a year now. This gym has the best variety of classes especially for folks who can't stand the treadmill. You can't possibly get bored with all of the offerings. My personal favorite is boxing bag with Shawn. I only go for his classes. I'm not what I would do if he found another place But until them I'm happy as ever at Sls fitness. Great place to work out in a group or by yourself. I tend to workout in the afternoon when it's a little quieter but if a group exercise is your game then morning or evening is the time to go. Be prepared to sweat your butt off they, take their workouts seriously. read more

I recently joined SLS fitness and have been really pleased with the gym. It is not just a big room with rows of cardio machines. The focus is group fitness classes of all kinds. Most of the classes are 30 minutes with a focus on getting a complete workout in a short amount of time. So far I have been to a circuit training class, 2 TRX classes and something they call "Metabolic Effect." I liked all of them and they were great workouts. I work evenings and have had no trouble finding lots of classes available when I have time to go to the gym. I feel like it is welcoming to all fitness levels. read more

The trainers take the time to know you, encourage you, and help you to accomplish your fitness goals no matter what your level of fitness is. I have danced my whole life and when I gave it up 3 years ago due to the high cost of classes I just couldn't get into the gym. It wasn't fun or interesting, I had done something I loved for so long and the regular gym just wasn't cutting it. I tried SLS with a friend and was hooked right away. I instantly cancelled my other gym membership and signed up at SLS. I now go to the gym 5 days a week and enjoy every minute of it. SLS is not only a gym, but a group of supportive people that are always there to help. It's like working with 24/7 personal trainers and you can't beat the price for what places like this cost in the surrounding area. Hands down, best gym I have ever been to! The trainers are amazing, they really motivate you and help you with your form as well. I love all the classes and love the fact that they are only 30 minutes and you leave there literally drenched in sweat. Short high intensity workouts with great staff... what more could you ask for? I love this gym... I only wish it was closer to my house - but I'd still rather drive and have a "real" workout then go to the local gym and barely break a sweat. Oh, how I HATE those Les Mills workouts all the gyms love so much. SLS workouts require little coordination (which clumsy me really appreciates) - if you can lift a dumbell, do a jumping jack and follow simple one or two step directions (no multi- coordinated dance steps here- THANK GOD)... soon they'll have you strong enough to do push ups like a pro! I also love that they offer so many morning classes and that Sherri is really interested in overall health and well being. read more

I've been going to SLS since November, and it is so much more than a gym membership. I recently had ACL surgery and have not been cleared for all activity. I was nervous about starting a fitness program with so many classes, and limitations. SLS rises above to meet the needs of their members. From the minute you walk in you're greeted with kind faces, and good vibes. Trainers are more than happy to accommodate the workout to meet your needs. I can't say a word of bad about the staff, and their level of professionalism. It's so apparent that every one who works there loves their job, and to me that speaks volumes. The showers are always clean, the gym is always welcoming, and the classes are varied. It took me a few weeks of being a member to discover the classes that worked best for me and my schedule, but now I've learned to work in my work out. 10/10 would recommend. If you're first class is a spin class don't get frustrated about the poor sound system (I know I did) you won't be able to hear instructions, but the coaches will walk around the room to assist you. read more

I hate to say this but I'd rather pay $10.00 a month at best Fitness and do some things to get into shape than spend a ton to take a lot of classes. Let me start by saying, I have never been a gym joiner, UNTIL SLS Fitness. The very few times I did join one, I never felt comfortable or that I was being well-coached. As an older woman I want to be in a place that doesn't make me feel self-conscious or out of place. From the moment I stepped into SLS, when it first opened (6 or 7 years ago?), I felt welcomed and like a valued member. The staff and all of the coaches are so friendly and helpful. SLS is a unique experience, there are always coaches who take an active approach to teaching classes. They are always watching your form to help prevent injury, and will encourage you when you are doing an exercise correctly. It's especially inspiring when you're taking a class and you see a coach or two right there with you taking the class, great motivation! There is a great variety of up to date classes. I love that the classes are 30 minutes, you can do 1 and be done, feeling energized for the day! And how about getting daily emails from Sherri Sarrouf, owner/coach, with nutritional and conditioning information, along with the schedule for the day! All the best info based on current research, to keep you healthy! I look forward to those emails every day. I could go on and on about the benefits of SLS Fitness!
