This location has the strictest parking lot. The bathrooms are a mess every time I visit this location. The showers don't have drains it's a shared drain for all 4 showers. That leaves each stall super slimy so bring shoes for the shower if you decide to go here. read more

After a year and a half of bringing in a bag si I dont have to put my towel or water bottle on the floor the manager enforced a "no bags on the floor rule" ya during a pandemic they want me to put a towel I wipe my face with on the floor. This isn't about the facility, but about their practices and charging me after I cancelled the membership. DO NOT give them your bank info...they don't care about you, or your hard earned money. They will take it, and make up an excuse why. Even after you cancel, you will be charged for numerous "fees", and they won't tell you about them. The staff is trained to take calls about this way of doing business, and they are proud to steal your money...they probably are getting a percentage as a "wage" the way they handle it. Eh... so first time coming in with my black card after being closed for months, and the cleanliness was sub par. Only 1 in 15 were wearing masks, and the locker room was completely shut down. Had I been aware of any of that, I wouldn't have come. I understand not wanting to spread bacteria, but I also need to change into my workout clothes and would love a place to do that that isn't directly on the workout floor. And where the heck was I supposed to stash my stuff after I changed? All the lockers were ziptied shut. Going in my street clothes with a backpack and shoes in my hand should have been a clue to the person checking me in that I intended to use the locker room. A heads up in advance that I should have changed at home would have been appreciated. Having a statement about the club's new policies posted somewhere would have gone a long way in making this a better experience. I don't care if it's their site, or Facebook or what, just post the info somewhere. Don't give me the "check in with a manager at your location and have them explain". This Planet fitness has always been hit or miss for me. From the cold, dirty showers, to the broken equipment, I am let down every time I step foot inside this facility. read more

Clean and well maintained, aside from a few glaring issues. The bathrooms need some work, although that isn't exactly pressing at the moment due to the lack thereof, with the Corona protocols. The staff is pretty nice in my experience and the equipment is still like new. Great place to come and work out, you cannot beat the price. read more

Horrible gym. Olivia front desk customer service is the reason I quit my membership after 9 months of loyal membership. The showers are faulty with water pressure and temperature. The clients act like they are in high school and 90 percent of the clients are there for snacks or the real " her". The black label membership is a uv chair. Go sit in the sun. read more

I have belonged to many gyms and some of them quite pricey. Not only is this gym extremely inexpensive, it is probably the cleanest gym I have ever worked out in, and clearly they take the health and safety of their clients very seriously. I joined when the indoor mask mandate was still in effect and people really followed it, unlike other gyms where I saw a lot of people using their masks as chin straps. In general the staff and clients here tend to be respectful to one another and people are actually there to workout, and not hog machines while texting and socializing. I love going to this gym. read more

Very clean facility, hours are 24/7, tanning and massage chairs included, and tons of equipment! The only small complaint I have is sometimes they seem under staffed up front. read more

PF uses Quaternary ammonium cleaners. They call it 'neutral disinfectant' but it is a hazardous cleaning chemical! It is not suitable for breathing! read more

It's been months trying to wrap my mind around about what happened and to put this out here. I was a member going on 4 years with no problem (other than how dirty everything was all the time but dealt with it) until one day I was threatened by one of the staff members, mocked for military service, and physical appearance, all in the same breath. It was immediately shrugged off as if I was taking something out of proportion or that it didn't happen at all. I'm still baffled and not sure why, but it was as if the employee had something against me. The regional manager was professional until I started to rebuttal his "investigation" on the matter. Needless to say, I was supposed to except that the employee did nothing wrong and I go back and attend without feeling threatened each time I see the employee. You know, the "judgement and intimidation free zone" which is a fallacy to say the least. Honestly, I used PF because it was the only big box gym option in Eugene and unfortunately still is. Can I stand up for myself? Yes. Do I want to have cortisol and adrenaline pumping each time I see the employee, especially in a place where it's designed for me to release those chemicals? No. I think the important part here is for anyone who pays for a service to not feel uncomfortable, threatened or expect danger in the process. I'm still beside myself with what happened and trying to figure out a way to bring to a higher platform so it doesn't happen again or at least work hard for it not to. Looking at these reviews I see not much has changed and glad I canceled my membership. As for management, there's no need to counter this review and display false empathy when you've already made the decision on what happened. read more

Trying to cancel the membership after graduation and moving cross country has been a nightmare. They were called & we were told to write a letter, four months later they are still deducting the monthly fee from the checking account. I tried calling and theres no answer and the voice mail box is full! Very frustrating! read more

I would say they have all the essentials and the atmosphere is exactly as they promote it to be: that is, welcoming and inclusive to everyone. One thing which is really frustrating is their hours on weekends. They close really early at 7 PM on Saturday and Sunday which is really frustrating because I like to workout after work or at night! read more

Good Gym. If you don't like their music I'll sell you headphones for $30. Recommend going earlier or later for a better work out. Not a fan on the no Gallon jugs policy, but for $10 a month I'll bring a half gallon I guess :). Complaining is bad for your health. read more

Just started with planet fitness about 2 weeks ago. Was using Springfield location until the Eugene location opened up. Hands down awesome customer service!! Everyone is friendly and helpful. I don't feel like I'm bothering them when I have questions. They have tanning massage chars hydro massage beds and so much more. I switched from anytime fitness and am very happy I did. My family and I came in to planet fitness on W. 11th after our Sunday meeting around 4 pm. We were all dressed to a T, my husband was in a suit and tie, my daughter and I were both in dresses. Anxious to get memberships. My husband had informed the lady at the front desk that we were there to purchase memberships. However, before anything else was said, my husband asked to use there bathroom. The lady said she was sorry but that no one but the members could use the bathroom. We couldn't believe what we heard, so he asked, "really?". I don't think it was because we are a "mixed race" family. Or even that she didn't know my husband had a medical condition. I'm sure that it was due to the homeless population and the troubles that brings to the working class people who live here. I'm not trying to say we are better than anyone else or to put rose petals on our shoulders. It seems like a character judgment should have been made. Because it wasn't Planet Fitness lost out on at least 3 memberships. I'm not sure if that's good business or bad judgment! Everyone lost! What is Eugene coming to!? read more

I have belonged here now for about 6 months, joining not long after they opened. I might have given a 5 star review when I first joined, but my opinion of the place has deteriorated as I have watched ongoing issues with locker room maintenance, the plumbing in particular. Locker room cleaning seems less frequent than it was at first, but the big problem is that it appears the place was built with inferior plumbing and the owners/management seem to have done little to try and address the situation. I have to say I only know the situation in the men's locker room, but toilets have been loose from the walls for months, one shower has been out of order for over a month and now a second one is broken, and from day one the hot water for showers has been sadly inconsistent, working not too bad one day but absolutely miserable, totally cold on other days (like today, which prompted this review). Front desk staff when notified seems nonchalant and indifferent to the problems. A female employee said, "Well, I guess we can put in another maintenance notice about that." I recognize that the contractors who put in the plumbing caused the problems, but the owners/managers need show some concern for their customers and step up and push to get things fixed and operating properly and then keep things repaired on a regular basis. So while I was at first impressed with this gym for the price, I've lost enthusiasm and would happily consider another option if something else appears in town. read more
