Be very careful giving this company your account information. I moved away years ago and thought my membership was cancelled. Realized charges were still being made every month so I called to cancel my membership again. Was told on the phone I have to come in person or write a letter. Considering I now live 7 hours away and haven't used there facilities in YEARS I wrote the letter! Followed up made sure my account was cancelled. Now MONTHS later they are drafting out of my account again!!!!! This is Fraud and I don't have time to deal with this every time they feel the need to steal from me. I have reported them to my bank and hope this saves someone else from going thru the same thing. If you actually cared you would have cancelled the membership the first two times no need to leave a comment if you're not going to resolve the issue. Run by children and packed with children. There is frequently groups of three and for teenagers hanging on a machine talking and another group in the way somewhere else. And to think about Planet Fitness allows them to be there all summer for Free is infuriating. Yes, for free! Being asked/told to produce you glasses for their inspection before being allowed to tan, by yet another kid (the owners daughter from what I'm told) is obnoxious and insulting. It's the Walmart of gyms and you tolerate this horse shit for the low monthly fee or you go to a real gym. They also used covid as a way to restrict their weekend hours. I was told by staff to avoid the yearly renewal fee, to simply cancel my membership before Oct 1. On 9/28 I went to cancel my membership and was told I would still be charged the renewal fee since their billing ran on a 7 day cycle. I was also told I would also not be able to be refunded for the renewal fee since I was canceling. Quite ridiculous. read more

This is a terrible policy. No one caries their routing and account numbers on them, so I asked if I could bring that info in the next day. She said no, sorry. We need your account information. my home away from home. i love the staff and the environment. the trainer, Ashton, helped design a program with me where i have successfully lost 50 pounds. Gym is clean with excellent maintenance of the equipment and all facilities. Really, top notch. HOWEVER, my personal experience associated with staff has really tainted my experience coming here. I'm a caregiver and I get a couple hours to workout every day. A female trainer who hovers at the front desk starting greeting me with really mean and unsolicited comments every time I came in. I think she thinks she was being funny. She would say things like "Nobody likes you" out of nowhere but for all to hear. One day, I called her aside and angrily told her to stop being a bully and to please let me work out in peace. Since then, I have tried to be polite when she is there. The problem is that now when she is at the desk when I come in, whoever checks me in is suddenly cold and rude. I honestly keep to myself and try not to do anything but work out. It's just really crazy how this poisonous staff attitude can persist in an otherwise decent fitness center. I love working out, but I really hate coming here now because of this. Bullying has no place, especially in a "no judgment zone". This club fails at it's very mission statement. read more

went to sign up today. pleasant staff at the desk, generally helpful. nice looking facility. but. when it came time to pay, deal killer !! required access to my checking account for payment. Nope. i have several ways of paying, which all other monthly billings are satisfied with. nobody has direct access to my checking account. too easy for a data breach, then i have an issue. methinks that PF needs to fix this billing problem. btw, i signed up with a competitor. they had no debt/credit card payment problems. you loose PF. read more

Great place when signing up . However when one year passes and you see they continue to take your money . You call and are answered with most unconcerned staff and management . I was told it is the contract i sign and and had i cancelled before one year I would have had a 59 $ fee , but to stop it two week after one year agreement they have already taken 21.99 from my account and now a 39.00 yearly fee . I asked what i need to do to cancel . Was told i had to come in and i would not be refunded my yearly fee . I asked if there was a number to billing i could call i was told no.
