This gym is way cleaner compared to the one in golden gate. I think they may have remodeled the bathrooms and lockers are new not like the old ones most have. There aren't leaks everywhere like the other one & the staff seems to actually take care of it. I went to do a little workout. I really want to use the new cryobed. I went to the counter as usual, scanned my phone app. Looked at the employee who said "scan and go ahead to the bed I was not completely sure she understood what was going on because they have to do something after you scan in. She just told me to go to bed and she would take care of it. I went and got on the bed and waited for 15 minutes past the time scheduled. Nothing I even went out and asked her to turn on the bed after 10 minutes. She did nothing apparently. I got up and left after 15 minutes. Do not go to this place. read more

Been a PF member for a long time. I was super excited when they moved into the new facility. The place was very nice when they opened approx 10mo ago, but the staff were always confused and in the dark about the plans there. Nobody knew when they would be going to 24/5 hours and just kept telling people "next week." Finally, I guess PF decided to never go to 24/5 even after we were told they had hired and trained all the night staff. The staff at this location are just okay. There are a couple who are friendly and the rest are your typical PF staff who don't even acknowledge you when you come in and basically just stand behind the desk on their phones the whole time while the paper towels are empty or the machines could be cleaned (during flu season, can you really clean enough?). My biggest frustration is certain machines being down for months now. The adductor and abductor machines have been broken for almost 2 months now, some of the machines scrape and are almost unusable, they're always missing carabiner clips, dumbells are always scattered about in the wrong locations and so disorganized...where are the maintenance people for these machines?!?!?! That is just ridiculous. Also, apparently there has been a plumbing problem the last few weeks at the club so they've kept the doors open to air it out. As of today, the gym has been closed for almost 4 days due to this issue. There is ZERO reason you couldn't have had a plumber in there and problem fixed in a day. Mismanagement at its finest, but then again this is FL...inefficiency, poor work ethic, and incompetence are pretty much the standard here. I wanted to love the new place, but it's been just okay. PF could have really made this place special, because there's not a lot of decent gyms in the area, but as always, they find a way to bungle it. read more

Planet fitness is a total nightmare. I've been hearing a lot of about this on YouTube and by the way this gym has a lot of strict rules that you should follow, which I really hate because one of the rules is you cannot have oversize water bottles or oversized tumblers like 64 ounce Stanley cups because it has to fit into the machine you're using. Another thing that they don't want you to do is wear any revealing clothing like tank tops, crop tops or any shredded clothing does see-through which reveal skin which I kind of find it very stupid. And that's not all the most stupidest thing that they have is a lunk alarm . if you're doing something wrong it will go off and I am very pissed about this gym. This gym does not deserve to exist. I would not even recommend getting a subscription for this gym at all. And if I had a subscription for this gym gym, the only thing I would do is argue with the employees. Do not recommend this gym. I recommend a subscription somewhere else so if you want to start the new year of 2025 right do not go to plan fitness. read more

ive been dosn in Naples visiting this past week and I needed to find a gym. I do programming but have background in CrossFit so I kelt my mind open to various options. I researched a bit and Planet Fitness seemed like the easiest option. I'm actually blown away by the facilities and the staff. they've been beyond accommodating and the facility is impressive. I was primarily using the dumbbells and little else, but they had everything I needed. I do work out in the morning when they open so cannot speak to peak hours. but they did open early a number of occasions which for me was huge. I have 2 young kids that I needed to get back to before they woke up. anyways, I'm very impressed and would recco this gym to anyone in the area or who is visiting. read more

I have been a member since Planet Fitness has opened on Tamiami Trail East. Everything has been great until today, staff friendly and helpful. As I was leaving, I noticed a good amount of water on the floor near the customer service desk where members sign in. I mentioned it to the female staff member (wears hair in a pontail and glasses), I do not know her name. She shrugged her shoulders and said "what do you want me to do about it." I asked if she had a rag; I would have wiped it up. I mentioned that members could slip and fall (the members range from young adults to members in their 80s. I also mentioned that if someone should slip and fall that would be on her, which she replied "no, because I don't own the place." Needless to say, this person needs to be addressed about her customer service skills. A "thank you for letting me know; I will address it" would have been a better response. read more

This Planet Fitness is a fantastic place to workout at because the staff is right on top of things and it is immaculate. I have worked out other gyms and this place is hands down the cleanest. It's open 24/5 and is very convenient for a busy lifestyle. A great mix of members and the equipment is expansive. I have been a member of a more expensive gym for years but since Covid hit most of the equipment is still roped off. Give it a look,you will love it! read more

Whatever you imagine a dirty sweaty gym to smell like---this is it. As soon as you walk in the door, the stench of sour sweat is overwhelming. I've never been to this location before and usually go to the Bonita Springs location but I was in the area and have never had any real issues with any location all over Florida. Until now. I walked in and used the restroom, thinking maybe the smell would pass or maybe it was just at the door but it was throughout the entire gym. Old, sour sweat. Absolutely disgusting. Clean, well lit. Not too crowded. Friendly staff, greet you with a smile. Recognize regulars and have nice things to say to them. Only downside is the water fountain doesn't have a bottle refilling station. read more

I like this gym, the staff is friendly however a lot of the equipment is out of order and has been for months. Also I went the other day and they had a sign that they were closed until further notice, with no explanation at all. I hope I'm not going to be billed. Everything was ok until I was going to leave after a 3-month​ vacation in Naples, Fl. I signed up for seasonal rates $10 bucks a month for Jan, Feb, and March. Then I drive back to OH. I planned on making a few stops along the way back and WO at PF. I was told I'm might have to pay more, which ticked me off, but I went along with it. So I said when I get to OH I'll just call and cancel my membership. I was told you can't cancel over the phone you have to show up in person or send a letter. This is total bull$hit! I called their main number 1-603-750-0001 (Customer service???) and they referred​ me back to the location I signed up at. So I'm going to cancel my membership before I leave and get a confirmation number (trust issues) to stop them from taking money out of my debit card. Should have known something was up when they won't take cash or a credit card. Think about it. Have you ever heard of any other business this size that accepts's​ debit cards only? During my March stay in Naples Florida it was imperative I keep to my New Years resolution. I was pleased with the condition of Planet Fitness as to how the staff operated as it related to cleanliness. Additionally, the members also took care in wiping down machines, weights, benches etc.... Evans set me up with a perfect plan for my short stay. Needless to say I looked forward to each 'Gym' day and enjoyed the variety of machines offered. I am sure to return next time I am in the Naples area. I'm in town visiting family and wanted to stay on track with my fitness plan and training. I have a black card so I decided to check this PF out. I found it to be newly remodeled in pretty good order. The staff that greeted me when I came in was friendly and helpful. They offered to answer any questions and or show me around if I needed it. The space is very small and a little more cramped than my home gym but they have plenty of equipment. It was very busy when I went and I'm assuming early to mid morning this time of year (in season) is one of their peak times. People working out here seemed friendly. It was an enjoyable experience and I'll be sure to stop in again while I'm in town. read more

In June, they recently remodeled the entrance, to create a giant wall which goes down the middle of the gym, and creates a huge empty reception area space in front of the check-in booth. Now you have to walk to the end of the gym to get on the side where the cardio is, and then walk back to the cardio area. The cardio machines are now incredibly cramped together thanks to the wall they built. Also, this PF has very limited hours, unlike all the other PFs in the rest of Florida and the United States, which are open 24 hours during weekdays. read more

Like their description says, Planet Fitness is known for their absurdly low prices! I signed up for the white card membership, where I pay $10 a month. You really cannot beat the price! Even if I only went 5 times for the entire month, it'd still be worth it! The cost of this gym membership is painless! The only draw back is you have to commit to a whole year for the $10/month. But if you're like me who's going to be living in Naples for a little while, it shouldn't be a problem. Look out for new membership coupons in the mail! I used one to waive the sign up fee (which is still cheap anyways), so I didn't have to pay anything extra to join! Plus you get a free shirt, and who doesn't like free clothes! The overall equipment is in good shape. There are plenty of cardio machines, strength building equipment, and floor work stuff. I've never had to wait to use something. It never seems too crowded. There's older people, younger people, people of all shapes and sizes working out. It really is a judgement free zone. Sometimes at other gyms I feel intimidated to go into the weight section, because of all the huge, jacked guys hogging all of the equipment. Everyone here is nice and will even help give you some workout tips if you ask. The bathrooms are clean and have hair dryers. Bring your own lock if you want to use a locker. Free Wi-Fi! Which is a big plus, so I won't kill my data listening to Pandora while working out. I do wish Planet Fitness had workout classes. They do have free training programs, where you work in a small group with a trainer to show you some different moves. But I do miss going to spinning and yoga classes from my old gym. But like I said before, you can't beat that price for a gym membership! read more

Not a State of the art facility in comparison to corporate planet fitness locations. Policies are also different than corporate planet fitness locations. For example, you can use a cell phone while you're on exercise equipment at this location which is annoying. Facility needs to be larger and definitely needs a facelift. Example, they has old box TVs instead of big flat panels. I've been a member for a number of years and I'm slowly saying this facility go downhill. Definitely not state-of-the-art like other planet fitness facilities. Update: I have since learned that sell phones are not allowed in the exercise area. In talking with the manager who as very pleasant, she explained that I had talked to a new employee who needed further training. She indicated that she was going to address this issue with the person in question. WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER. "MANAGER" KRISTEN (or however her name is spelled) should be ashamed of herself. We had to evacuate because of Irma. We decided to make our move permanent. I called 3 times and left messages saying we needed to cancel membership. They never called back. When I finally called and got a live person, I was told the only way I could cancel was to show up in person in Naples or send a certified letter. Since I was on the road neither option would work. I was told to call and talk to the manager. I have never dealt with a more rude or incompetent person. I could use many more negative adjectives but you get the point. I finally had to call my bank and have them reject the monthly charges. I was left with no other option. Now the PF billing dept is calling - I just blocked the number. Update as of October 2017. The Naples Planet Fitness renovated their club last May and when I went in October it was much better. The big box standard def TVs have been replaced by flat screens facing the cardio area. The flooring has been upgraded and the place in general is much better than the last 2 years that I have gone there. I now go to this PF when in Naples rather than joining another gym, despite having a black card. The place is still cramped but it is clean and more than adequate for my workouts. read more

I belong to planet fitness on the east coast of Florida. It is a great place, clean, updated, bright! When i came over here and wanted to use this pf i went inside and turned around. Its in a terrible shopping center and hasn't been updated in years. Old tvs, almost no windows, sterile lighting. The atmosphere of where you work out makes a difference. This gym is clean enough, has plenty of cardio equipment and good quality machines. The A/C is much beter than Crunch and a few others here in Naples. The only negative is that most of the audio connections on the cardio equipment are broken, loose, or non-existent. This can really make your workout miserable. They really should fix this. First visit here last Sunday morning, lots of people here yet plenty of equipment. It's within a strip mall behind McDonald's so not seen from road. Five showers in locker room with anti-slip mats in front of them. All lockers are the small ones stacked one atop the other in pairs. Treadmills are in an elevated area in back and to side of entrance. Several large TV screens hang from ceiling in front of treadmills and other equipment, each to different channels so choose what to watch as you work out. Entire floor kept spotless. read more

I just moved here from New England, and I am a huge PF fan. This location in Naples just doesn't quite cut it for me. Located in a horrible location, and there are old tv's with fuzzy pictures above the cardio equipment. Very warm and stuffy inside. I won't be back. read more

Bought a week pass while on vacation and the price was great. Always an open machine however the free weight area is not that big. Would be nice if they offered free towels but no biggie. read more
