Last time I was there, it was $20 a month for a new member, and if you left for a bit for a different gym, and come back, he'll charge you more, and that is why the 1 star. Other than that, it really is a great gym, it was my first love. It's really gritty like Pumping Iron (the movie), and you can get your workout done. The basement is also nice if you want to lift heavy. The times I went had little to no people, so that was a plus (if you just wanna get in and out). Also, I don't know what people consider "clean", but one of the reasons I love the place is because its "gritty", so don't expect shiny equipment. The owner is nice enough, just don't "cross" him by going to a different gym, and you'll be fine.

Turns out she is incredibly nasty. Tried to cancel my membership today IN-PERSON and she kicked me out of the gym. Mind you, this has been going on since August. I been trying to reach out to cancel my membership via phone, online, and in-person. Kept getting charges every month. Wouldn't be surprised if they try to charge me again next month lol. I ended up canceling my credit card so they can't get another penny out of me. My honest assessment of this club. It's clean, kind of small but has pretty much everything you need. The members there get along. Everyone does their best to maintain the place. Only problem is the new owner!

I latter asked him if he was getting personal training. He told me he asked the owner if he could help him with his deadlift and instead he took an hour of his time to help him out. Hercules is an old school powerlifting/strong man gym with dumbbells up to 200lbs. It has a ton of 45lbs plates, even 55lbs competition plates, and several 100lbs plates. Along with a ton of machines and equipment. It has a small membership base, so you are not waiting on equipment even on peak hours. Not to mention you can go 24/7. It welcomes all types of lifters. I have been with the gym since before it moved to the current location and that's 5 years or so. If your thinking about it, just DO IT!

I've been coming for a year and I haven't seen any turnover with staff. Everyone is committed and seems to love what they do. Very easy communication as well. 2. Convenient schedule. They have a ton of classes throughout the day so it's easy to find one to work with your schedule. The new facility has showers, which is an awesome addition. 3. Flexibility. You can freeze your membership for any amount of time, even for a week or two at a time. That is pretty remarkable and cost effective. 4. Challenging. There are members of all fitness levels and there are modifications to ease up or push harder. You will SWEAT, burn calories and build muscle. Because this is a monthly membership instead of a pay-by-class, be prepared to make the commitment. If you only plan on going a couple times per month, this probably isn't the place for you. Every class is different, but all classes include work on the bag as well as endurance and strength training. I highly recommend Burn if you are looking to challenge yourself and commit to bettering your mind & body.

You are always welcome with a big smile and care. They modify the exercise to your fitness and level abilities. The trainers are uplifting, personable and so positive. I'm 55 and after 2 knee replacements. First time in my life that I'm eager to go to the gym every morning. They work you hard at this gym and the results are not late to show. My friend and I tried it out today, we came at the 9:30 AM slot. There were only 3 other people in the class with us. The instructor Don, is absolutely amazing! He motivates you with humor, dancing, and whatever it takes to get you through the workout! The best thing about this Bootcamp is it's for all types of stamina and people who are at different points in their fitness journey. I love it because they modify the workout for you depending on where you are in your fitness journey. For example, we had to jump up on blocks and my friend Nikki struggles with it because she tore her ACL back in high school. Don was helping her stand up on the block instead of jumping on it. You start off with a 5 minute warmup and then go straight to the 20 minute Bootcamp and then a few minute cool down/stretches. It's super high energy and so much fun!! I absolutely love this place and I plan on buying a membership after my 3 free workouts!!

Our family tradition is giving socks for the holidays, and my son suggested I get Pure Barre socks for his wife. Lacking any other specifics (except I know she LOVES pink), I wandered into Pure Barre and was immediately greeted warmly. I was assisted in determining size and they searched for (and found!) the elusive pink ones I wanted. I was warmly invited to come for a class, and my decline to their offer was accepted politely. I can only imagine that their regulars are treated as awesome as I was!

In terms of this studio, I've had nothing but positive encounters with every single instructor (all with their own unique style), and the vibe in the studio is extremely energizing. From the moment I walk in the door, I'm greeted with a smile, and feel as if I'm entering a party where I won't have to be afraid to sit in the corner!
