Burn kickboxing is my little home away from home. I joined Burn Kickboxing during a trial in January 2021 and knew I was going to stay after my first class (Hi 6AM Warriors, love you!) I was looking for a place that matched my experience in martial arts - these classes offer so much variety and carefully put together lesson plans that give me the full body work out I wanted. The times they offer fit in with my busy work schedule really well. The staff treats you like family and cares a lot about you; not only about your fitness, but also your life. I started losing weight in December 2020 and Burn has not only helped me get closer to my goals and boosted my motivation, but build muscles I didn't know I had! I'm about to hit the -50lbs milestone and Burn has been a huge part of my journey. I'm very thankful to be a part of something that became so much more than I originally intended it to be, and grateful doesn't fully capture how I feel for what they've done for me in just 4 months. read more

Burn Kickboxing Camillus? Hell yes!! You WILL see results, feel better, and get to punch and kick the sh*# out of a bag. Do it, if you've thought about it.. DO IT! You are NOT too out of shape for it! You are NOT too old for it! Whatever is making you skeptical forget about it! I went by myself and that didnt matter once I was there, the atmosphere is amazing and addicting. The coaches are extremley inviting, inspiring and fun...EVERY COACH I'VE MET IS LITERALLY AMAZING! The music is fun and the workout...AMAZING! With my schedule all over the place some weeks I've only been able to go 3 times a week...it's been about a little over a month and after just a few classes I could tell a huge difference! The workout got much easier with each class, I felt so much better, and when you start to feel better you become more aware of your lifestyle and want to change it up for the better! What can I say about "Burn" ?       ALOT that's for sure!! It's now been two weeks that I've been going with a total of 6 days done. I laughed when I saw their add for the Fit over 50 class, as I said ya right. I've rebounded from cancer and now dealing with other health issues BUT needless to say dispite all this I joined and at age 68 I can say they are right. You can be fit at any age Burn Kickboxing was a God send in my life! The staff as a whole are the most compassionate, hands on group of people that I've ever experienced. I don't have enough positive things to stay about Burn Kickboxing- Camillus. I have never felt so welcomed and at home while working out before. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, to help guide you, and to encourage you. What I love the most is the environment. Some gyms can be intimating, Burn Kickboxing-Camillus is the exact opposite. There are people of all ages, strengths, bodies, and abilities. Yet everyone is treated with kindness and acceptance. The workout I get everyday challenges me mentally and physically. I have seen the changes in my body physically, yet what it has done for me mentally is what's most important. Burn Kickboxing has seriously changed my life, and I don't know where I'd be without them. This is the only workout routine I've ever been able to stay consistent with, and the biggest reason is the trainers. On my 4th day as a Burn member I went to a mid morning class, instead of the early class I had attended the first 3 days, and was met at the door by a trainer with her arms crossed saying "did we sleep in today???" That's when I realized that I belonged at Burn, when I noticed that somebody who I barely knew was expecting me, and learning my routine. Burn north syracuse kicks my butt every day! it is different each time I go and is always challenging. As soon as you enter the building the music and the energy from the coaches get you pumped up and ready to work. The coaches are AMAZING! They are so knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help you out if you have questions or want to learn something new. They encourage you to listen to your body but also challenge you to push alittle hard. They are great at tailoring the workout if you have limitations. I have been a member of many gyms, and this is by far my favorite. You feel like part of the burn family from day 1. I look forward to every class, even if I can barely walk after. What an incredible experience this was! I am thrilled with Burn Kickboxing and can't wait for my next class. I walked in a little nervous about trying something new but walked out confident and feeling like I had just made a new family! The instructors were very good about taking the time to show me proper technique and after the class I sat with an instructor to discuss my health goals. I won't lie...I was sore for a couple days but it was that "so great" sore because you know your body loved it! An instructor actually called me the next morning to see how I was feeling! Its not just that you get an AMAZING workout while you are there... its also the instructors. Burn Kickboxing has been the one constant workout in my life. I have tried everything from lifting weights, boot camps, Pilates, yoga, treadmills and ellipticals, but none of those kept my interest like Burn does! I know every time that I walk through those doors I'm going to get a killer workout, no matter what. Burn gives you the opportunity to push yourself- you are always learning and improving. After completing an Ironman triathlon, I needed something different. I was over swimming, biking and running. I tried several different gyms and fell in love with Burn Kickboxing! It's a different workout every, single class! The trainers are all amazing- so much encouragement and positivity! These workouts are challenging and I am doing all the hard things-burpees, sit ups and push-ups. They offer specialty classes too such as stretching and strength. They have TRX straps which are a favorite for me. My absolute favorite thing about Burn Kickboxing is I'm able to go the pace that is comfortable for me, no judgement from anyone. read more

I left a gym as it was boring, doing the same thing day in and day out plus trying to use the equipment was a chore as people set up multiple machines to do their circuit. At Burn, there is always something new going on and it is definitely not boring. Everyone does the same thing (sort of - unless we are at stations) and it's never a wait game as your feet are moving the whole class. It is a great place with a fantastic group of trainers who are always willing to help you out. It's like one big family. I love Burn and you will too if you go there. Burn has been a lifesaver during these Covid times & now I'm hooked! I preferred working out at home until our daughter introduced me to Burn Kickboxing in Camillus, NY. The studio is clean, fun & full of energy. The coaches are knowledgeable, and there to assist and courage you every step of the way. I never feel judged or intimidated.
