Not only has this location eliminated their circuit weight training room but now in late 2025. They have changed their hours and will not be open 24 hours a day seven days a week anymore. I can't say enough great things about this Planet Fitness! The facility has ample parking, well-maintained, a multiplicity of equipment and a solid variety of television channels to take my mind off of the task at hand. :-) A special shout out to Tristen, an employee that placed everything on hold to locate an earbud that dropped under a machine while I was on the treadmill. Not only did he search diligently until he located it (under the 3rd machine he searched under), he acted as if he couldn't be happier to help. And then there's another associate named Joe, that has a gift for remembering names, jokes, and how to make customers feel welcomed like an old friend. Visiting some friends and grabbed a single-day free pass. Was really impressed with the size of the space, it's significantly bigger than the front entrance appears. There are cardio machines for days, rows and rows of treadmills, ellipticals, etc. There's a large ab work out area in the back as well as a 30-min circuit area. The free weight area was a bit small, but they had a lot of machines by comparaison. Was hoping to be able to pay per day or for the week since I'm visiting; the single day pass was the only option/drawback I experienced. read more

I have left Planet Fitness once and for all, and I will never return. I started to go to the gym frequently, and the staff became very rude. I would politely greet and say goodbye to staff when going to and from the gym. The staff was rude, and the staff would ignore me. Today, I walked into Planet Fitness, and one of the staff said that no one likes you, and everyone in the group laughed. Apparently, there is a clique of people at Planet Fitness. I was not in the clique, so they treated me like I was a piece of garbage. Management did nothing to rectify the issue. Planet Fitness is supposed to be a judgement free zone, and there aren't supposed to be any critics. The staff and clique made me feel very uncomfortable. Therefore, I decided to cancel my membership, and I will try to go to another gym that is more welcoming. read more

This is based on a one time visit, as I was passing through the area. The treadmill I used worked okay, but I could tell it could have used some maintenance. Staff very friendly and energetic. I was greeted on my way in and out! The women's locker room was laid out nicely but the trash cans in the stalls were overflowing and there was toilet paper on the floor. The showers were nice and the water got hot! This Planet Fitness location has tiled showers, which are my preference. Overall I had a great experience. I rated four stars since the restroom was dirty. read more

I love this Planet Fitness location. It isn't far from home and is conveniently located in a shopping center near BJ's, Weis, and Walmart. I love the the gym is open 24/7 so I can go as early or as late as I wish. I never have an issue getting a machine that I'd like to use. I mostly do cardio when I go. This gym is fairly new, a little over a year old. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. There's always plenty of available lockers to store your personal things. Just don't forget to bring your own lock. I love their water fountain that has a sensor on it and automatically fills your water bottle with filtered water. This gym doesn't have all the bells and whistles of say, LA Fitness, but it has the basics and it's affordable. I only pay $10 per month to go to the same location. You can pay $20 a month to go to any PF location. read more

Super nice planet fitness. Out of the ones in my area this was the beat and cleanist and friendly staff. They have a ton of equipment and 99% of times all their machines work. Its a huge space and even when it gets full it doesnt feel tight because the space is so large. They hav an abundance of space. The ONLY reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because when I told him my year was up and I asked how do I cancel (i moved to am area where there are no planet fitness) the guy left me on hold for 15 minutes because he had to find someone to help me. So when i hung up and called again the girl said I have to cancel in person. Which okay thats fine but I AM POSITIVE all their employees know this policy he could have just told me lol other than that its a great gym! read more

So, after FINALLY speaking with a representative from Planet Fitness, their position is: a. They do not know who actually was in possession of my keys, although, a note was clearly written as a note in my account. b. They do not know the condition of the keys when they were dropped off, HOWEVER, they assume that my keys MIGHT not have been in good condition, SO, they will not offer a reimbursement. They have no evidence to the contrary--this is just a convenient way to shrug responsibility. Absolutely HORRIBLE! c. They offered me 1-year free membership and an apology. I understand you have to wear a mask not while on the machine but while you're walking around I have been harassed many times by the man who's working the front desk 7/21/20 -2:30 while I am working out he stopped my workout not once but twice to tell me to wear a mask Mind you I am on the machine meanwhile many others are walking around to get to a new machin no mask he doesn't follow them around or interrupt their workout I feel offended either close the gym or give me time to finish my set before you want to shove me wearing a mask when I'm trying to catch my breath . Downgraded from 3 stars!! I am so disappointed in this club!! I had been a member for 15 years and used to love this place (my home gym used to be Ft Meade) The issues started with the summer promo and like everyone else, I struggled with not being able to get on machines while the teens texted for 20 mins at a time on them. After the promo; the behavior still continued, no matter what time of day / night I went in....the real shame in all of of this, like everyone else, I really liked the friendliness of the staff.....dont be fooled by this! While I dont go to the club to make BFF's out of the staff, it was a nice perk....I gave up my membership due to the inability of getting on machines, they were smug when they cancelled...I went in one last time before my membership ran out to tan... I have always been nice and treated everyone kindly even when I was frustrated about what was going on. As I was leaving, one of the girls behind the desk didnt realize that I was in earshot and said "good riddance B**** I couldnt believe it; especially because I have never been unkind . to top it off, my neighbor was also in earshot and texted me advising me that she saw the occurrence. Standard generic message from customer service. Sorry, cell phone conversations are obviously not restricted to lobby. Does that mean texting on exercise machines and benches is OK? I joined PF in order to use exercise equipment. By allowing people to take up mine and other members time by using equipment as a texting stations you are violating my contract that is supposed to allow members to use equipment for exercise as it was intended. Mind you I go here in the evenings almost every night. Their are some very friendly ladies and gentlemen who work here. All the employees are very "greeting" when you walk in. One employee Tito, I see going around deep cleaning the equipment, vacuuming the floors, refilling the equipment cleaning bottles & towels, he never stops working. He also secures the state law with face mask, asking anyone who has their mask under their nose ...he will signal you with his hands showing you to pull up your mask. He truly makes me feel safe, comfortable, and certainly welcomed when I come to the gym. Thanks for all your countless evenings cleaning the equipment and all the other jobs you make safe for us to continue coming to the gym to work out. Great gym for the price! I love Planet Fitness. Some of my friend put it own and say that it's not a good place to work out at but I beg to differ. No they don't have 100lb Dumbbells so if that's what you base a gym on then you'd better pass on PF. What they do have at this location is like 100 cardio machines, dozens of weight training machines, plenty of dumbbells minus the 100lb set, tanning beds, water massage contraptions, free fitness trainers if you want one, free wi fi and clean locker rooms/showers. All this for $10 a month or if you have the black card membership like me, $20 a month to use any PF in the country! No brainer for me... The staff here is very friendly to boot. I've been a member at and used many other gyms from Golds to LA Fitness and PF is as good as most. Yes there are better gyms but your gonna pay way more to go there. Give these guys a try. I work out here between 1am & 3am. The over night staff is friendly and helpful. They are always cleaning. Cleanest gym I ever been in.

I've been going to this club for a number of years and would normally give a higher ranking. But the planet fitness trainers have gotten more and more pushy with their classes and I'm getting tired of them trying to chase me out of different areas of the gym because they have a class starting (which I don't get in the way of I move out of the way so everyone can workout). Part of the class should be learning that the equipment you wanna use isn't always going be open and you have to share. I've actually been a member with planet fitness for around 10 years. If I continue to be approached in the chase off a 6 year mentality, I'll be considering taking my business elsewhere when my contract is up. read more

We've come here for a little over a year and it fits my needs... but in no way would I listen to the personal trainer that works here. I was watching her train people yesterday was extremely disappointed in the techniques she was teaching them. I can see short-term and long term shoulder issues in the near future for most of them... I typically just come here do you want to need to do and leave, and that is what I would suggest for most people to do. This is definitely not a bodybuilder gym so I can see within the near future me and my husband leaving but for the time being it works. I will say the staff is extreme nice. read more

After going back and forth between LA Fitness and SPRFC for several years, we finally decided to sign up for Planet Fitness to see if it was different. And oh boy, we're we pleased. The service is the best out of all three of these big local gyms, especially the person who signed us up, Jenn. She greet us warmly every time we walk in, and makes sure we are ready to go. Another good thing about Planet Fitness is the perks. Our family got the $20 black card membership, which is an amazing deal. For only $10 extra you get access to the spa/lounge area, unlimited guest privileges, and access to any PF in America. This is useful for people who travel especially. I've visited MAN PF's in Md.Va.Wv, Pasadena is hands down the best! Fresh, new, clean! The tanning beds are actually worth using, they tan you , opposed to surrounding locations! Ashley!!!! She is a breath of fresh air! The most pleasant staff member they have! She strives to remember each members name, bubbly , happy to help ! Greets me everyday as enter and exit! She's top notch, I can't say that for all of the staff , some appear miserable and Bothered, not Ashly though! I have been a member at your gym now for about a year and half now. I come in at different times. I have a pretty regular routine and part of that is to tan after I work out. I went to the gym this morning at 3:30 am. Finished my work out about 4:30. Went to the front counter waited for about what seemed to be 10 minutes and the night guy was no where to be found in the gym. I left. Normally I wouldn't complain but needles to say it was a little aggrervating. I mean what's the point of being open 24 hours a day if you don't have access to everything you have to offer. I am no expert at this by any means but I would think this would be a saftey issues as well. I mean god forbid someone get hurt who would be there to attent to them. This gym is great!!! I am very satisfied with the total environment the staff are very friendly and helpful but not intrusive at all. They have an excellent Abe's section if you want to get that stomach together. The place is very comfortable for beginners and also for serious weight lifters. The atmosphere is definitely very suburban Anne Arundel County. They have standup tanning and the bulbs are very powerful... This club is very new and the equipment seems to be along the same lines... If you're in Pasadena lower Glenburnie or in Severna Park I recommend this planet fitness you will be very happy that you joined!!! read more

Love this gym..and I've been to many! It's low key and spacious. Locker rooms are very CLEAN. Staff is accessible, but not irritating. The lighting is nice, not too bright and the overhead music DOES NOT drown out my own music. It has so many cardio machines, that you will never have to wait for one. Its also so large and has so much equipment, that you never feel like someone is on top of you, waiting for you to finish. It also has 17 large screen tv's, that you can plug into from EVERY cardio machine there. This is not your "muscle head gym", where people are strutting around grunting and snorting ridiculouly.
