I was taking a last minute shower, and two other girls were as well ,and on my way out the restroom ,after brushing my teeth, I was met face to face with the employee, literally IN the restroom. He never tried to yell from outside.MIND YOU THE SHOWERS ARE RUNNING.I WAS BRUSHING MY TEETH.He was peeping.and trying to see something. When I met his face he scrambled to finds his words. Saying we have six minutes left and asking if anyone else was in there. He couldn't yell from outside? Did he have to peep around the corner? This is a decent Planet Fitness location. Equipment is clean and so are the ladies locker rooms and bathrooms. It's usually not too crowded and there are ample treadmills to choose from if you want to walk or run. Staff is courteous and I've never had a problem coming in or out. The one drawback I'd say is the wall of TVs. It's torture running in front of them. Most of the channels are pretty bad, monotonous or political news. If I had a magic wand I'd turn them all off. Peace at last! Price however is hard to beat, Planet Fitness offers the best rates so that's why I keep putting up with the TVs. Maybe it's a way to keep me from coming too often... upgraded to new machines but also only replaced some of the more used ones with only one machine. really going to slow things down. Have 30 to 40 elliptical machine and have only seen 15 or so used at same time. Really disappinted with decision to cut back on weight machines. read more

Not only did we have to deal with kids all summer, now they have a sign that they cut the hours, TEMPORARILY?? it's for 4 months! now there are 3 days I can't even go, close at 9pm on a Friday?? I'm sure I will be told to drive to the next town to visit that Planet Fitness. Now you responded, but no one's asking for a 24 hour gym, just a gym that stays open long enough that people can actually work out. And I still see little kids 13 years old going in there without adults, might be time after 14 years to change gyms especially if I'm just going to be disregarded. read more

I've been using planet fitness all over the country for a year. I travel for work full time and I've never had an employee deny me a shower BEFORE closing. I came here after work and exercised. Then I went to shower and the manager told me she was closing them down and I couldn't. It was before closing time and I told her I would be quick. She wouldn't. It's so disappointing when you rely on a place that you pay monthly for and they deny you access. I haven't showered in days because I've been on site for work and was so looking forward to it. I have been a member for years and have had occasional issues in the past that were always resolved to my satisfaction. Other than the lack of rowing machines and the squatters who use the circuit area to do four sets of one exercise and then chat with their friends, I have had very few complaints about this location. However, for the past two weeks - over the holidays and into the new year of 2022 - they have been closed 'due to a power issue.' There's a sign on the door, the lights are on, but the door is locked. While I understand that sometimes things happen that are beyond our control, here's why I am really mad: when I try calling to ask about when they plan to re-open or whether I can get a refund for the past month since I have not been able to use my Black Card membership, not only do they not answer the phone (there is a recording only, just saying they are closed), but I am also unable to reach any sort of corporate office to try to get a refund and / or find out if I should just find another gym! The email options on the app and online force me to select this location, and then I get an automated reply telling me I have to deal with the franchise because 'corporate doesn't handle memberships,' and the phone number for customer service isn't working - all I get is a fast busy signal. I was already not thrilled that they have shortened their hours (without lowering their prices) and are no longer a 24-hour gym, which is annoying but understandable due likely to lack of staff. I love this Planet Fitness! My experience has been that it's always clean, the machines and equipment are exactly what I need to get in a good hard workout, the music is good, not obnoxious. Several TVs if that's your thing...great WI-FI. For the most part I've noticed that people are here to work out and not socialize. That's GOOD. If something needs attention, just let them know. They'll make it right. I hear there is a remodel/improvement coming to the gym in 2020. A special shout out to Connor who works the desk and beyond. He ALWAYS greets me by my name and makes people feel like they are genuinely welcome and that he's glad you are there. Way to go Connor. Above and beyond. Staff: The guys and gals here are sweet and friendly. It definitely is a judgement free zone! Equipment: Clean stations and plenty of space to comfortably get in your zone without distractions from other gym goers. Location:This location is not busy when I go, at lunch, but it does have its random crowds at times. Not that often. Atmosphere: The Big Ole fans keep you at just the right temperature. Seguin Fitness got us. My wife is a member and after the pandemic scare she decided to stop going over obvious concerns. Next, the gym closed and we were never advised, however, all good that was a good call. After losing sight that the annual membership fee was approaching we forgot to call and cancel. I called and spoke to Sierra, (owner) and explained the situation. She promptly "advised" me that they were well within their rights to charge since we didnt cancel in time. I said we forgot but we have no intention of going back while this Pandemic thing kicking into high gear and went on to say they clean gym often. Anyway, no refund and we aren't going back. Employees are friendly! I am always greeted when I come in and they always say bye when I leave. The machines they have the typical, basic machines (and dumbbells!), but I am sure if you need instructions, the employees would show you how to use the machine. The only machine I have not seen is the stair master, but other than that, it is a good gym to go to. Just be careful not to slam the weights down too hard because they have a lunk alarm! The only con about Planet Fitness is the lunk alarm. I mean, I understand why they have it but I do not work out as hard because I do not want to trigger the alarm when I drop the weight. The people who come are responsible; they always wipe down the machines after they are done using them, which only keeps the gym clean and new! Planet Fitness has a body enhancement machine, water massage, normal massage and a tanning booth. With the black card for 20$ a month, there is an unlimited usage for the machines, as well as other perks too. But if you do not use those machines, just stick to the 10$ a month. Nice employees! As an older member here at this location, I appreciate the motivating atmosphere, the upbeat, albeit younger music, and the supportive staff. I feel very comfortable while going through my workout. The equipment is in great shape, and the variety of machines is impressive. I love the overall appearance and cleanliness of this facility. During the cold weather event last week this gym shutdown even when the schools were open. Schools only open if the roads are safe. Planet fitness customer service lines were tied up because I am sure members who got to the gym but couldn't get in were trying to find out why the gym was closed and when it would open. Anytime was open so I purchased a membership their because "Planet Fitness", was closed and us in my opinion an unreliable option. Though planet fitness has more equipment it does me no good to go there if I cannot get in. read more

I had a membership at one point and I have nothing but great memories. The managers/staff were professional, really nice and never bothersome. The gym membership was priced great and it was clean as could be with a very welcoming environment for all. The Good: The gym is kept clean and the equipment is in good working order. Overall, the majority of the staff are friendly. If you only go to the gym to hop on a treadmill or elliptical, PF fits the bill. The Bad: Limited choices of exercise activity, no group classes & no kids center (children over 13 can enter when accompanied by an adult). The Really Bad: Potential deceptive business practices. Advertised - $10 a month, with no commitments. This is true... unless you Upgrade to the PF Black Card (massage chairs, massage tables & tanning). At this point, you'd better read through the contract, as the sales rep will not point out the fact that the Upgrade also includes a $40 annual charge (late December, early January) and a 12 month contract with a $60 cancellation fee. Overall: Cleanliness - 4 stars Equipment - 3 stars Business Practices - 0 Stars Based on the business practices, and the fact that I signed up strictly due to the no- commitment clause, I would not recommend this gym nor would I ever be a customer again; but going off of the information above, you as a consumer can at least make an educated decisions and not be led astray by PF sales reps. read more
