Well, today (Wednesday) was my birthday (64) and I decided to go in, join, and have the pages printed that I needed. I came in and the person who initially greeted me was nice. She helped me by giving me the application and taking my payment. Then I went into the office only to be attack by the gestapo, some dark haired women who didn't introduce herself but went on the attack demanding, "Who told you that! What was their name! We don't do that! Who was that?" I stopped the conversation to introduce myself thinking she might have a nicer tone to someone who had just joined, but no! She still had the sharp tone and stern face as though I was taking up way too much of her precious time! I told her I felt very uncomfortable with the way she was communicating with me, I turned and asked the girl at the desk to tear up my application and refund my money, which they could not do because I had paid with a debit card! Wow Well, then I did some digging. I've been in town since 2005 and lived up here full time for most of that! I have own a business in town, and have really tried to be a good member of our town. I found out that "she is hot and cold" "you never know who you are going to get" "oh yeah, she's like that with everyone " and "yeah, that's why I don't go on there". I can't believe The Black Haired Gestapo is greeting our elderly community members like that! This is shameful! Someone should sit her down and teach her how to kindly treat people and not be so mean! I can't recommend becoming a member until she is canned! This is the office gestapo!!

I'll add that we waited 15 minutes before a waiter/waitress even acknowledged us. Our food came out 40 minutes later! The potato was bleak and lukewarm. No butter. No anything. Fully loaded was fully barren. No Aus Ju or horseradish for the Prime Rib either, and the Prime Rib was actually COLD.. Cold to the touch. The waiter took our plate and came back confirming that it was cold, as did the Chef.When asked if we wanted a new order, we politely declined waiting another 40 minutes, paid for our Coke, tipped the waiter, and left. We felt bad for him that his Cook is serving cold food. Not his fault.. Terrible service & even worse food.

It should not take five hours to play a round of golf. We had an early tee time and by the second tee we were waiting 10+ minutes to play next hole . When we turned at ten. Even more groups had crowded in so back nine was even slower. So they not only don't control the tee time or placing at all. Very sad. Won't play there again for this reason . I would not recommend the course at all. There are many other good course in the area.

It's always in great shape and a very fair but challenging course designed by Gary Panks. While the weekend rate is getting closer to $100 by the year, it's still only ~$45 during the week.
