I come in the middle of the night on weekends (only time I'm able to make it) and this place is filthy. I think it's a new guy Ryan . He just sits up there all night on his phone and laptop and barely looks up if he's the one to check you in. This gym smells and is absolutely disgusting, especially with the teen summer pass. Visiting FL and several users to this gym over mine in Daly City, CA: 1. All TV's have CC on! 2. Large Black Lounge w multiple options. As well as massage chairs, hydro massage chairs, tanning and red light therapy. ALSO, have cryotherapy, hydro massage beds and Wellness Pods. 3. Great am staff-shout out to Tristan who rescued my lost air pod case! Highly recommend, only downside for some would be less weight equipment. I'll be back! read more

Trying to cancel a membership after Moving out of state and the guy tells me there's only 2 ways to cancel... you can come in ( 455 mile drive) or write a certified letter lol really? As of today I have canceled my membership with this gym. As I was working out this morning a dude wearing a t-shirt saying trainer walks up to me and tells me I am not allowed to use my jump rope to workout. I go to the manager and she confirms what he said. Policy if plant fitness does not supply it you are not allowed to use it. Not even a jump rope. . I told the trainer then give me a jump rope to workout with. He says we don't supply jump ropes. . I canceled my membership this morning. I have been going to many different gyms all my life. The young blonde haired man that is about 5 foot 10 will not calibrate the machine to weigh yourself even though it's a 32nd job, he would rather stand up front with his arms, cross talking to the other employees about stuff that has nothing to do with work when I first walked in I asked him if he could calibrate the machine because it was way off. He said yeah he'll get it and he went into the bathroom clean the whole bathroom but never calibrated machine, when I asked him if he could calibrate it, he said yeah when I get a chance, even though he's standing up front with his arms crossed, talking to coworkers about nonwork related stuff I said, I don't understand why you haven't calibrated it yet and he said I don't understand why the customers keep removing it moving the machine, so he was quite a SS It was at 2:51 Saturday, December 10. read more

This is the crack houses of all planet fitness's. Machines are broken all the time, which happens, but planet themselves DO NOT fix these machines for a month, 2 months, or even longer. It's not the employees fault, it's more of the lines of planet themselves not cooperating with the gym to fix stuff and drag their feet. I'd rather spend the extra money so I know the gym actually respects the customers and gets stuff done. read more

Planet fitness is horrible especially this one in Springhill on Springhill Drive. The staff is terrible the managers when you talk to them you Mas will be talking to the wall they're ignorant and not helpful at all all they care about is the number one thing is money nothing else. I got charged a renewal fee to my checking account after I canceled my membership. And all they wanted to know is as long as they got my money . They could care less it's only $41.54 but it's the point of it they did not want to listen . Buyer beware do not sign up for this planet fitness on Springhill Dr., Florida. I did find away too get my money back that they took out of my checking account. Just call your bank an put a stop payment . It's so crowded and machines are broken down a lot of the time. It should have some kind of fire code for the number of people in there at one time. Most of the time, we just leave and go walk somewhere. They need to find a way to regulate it or stop taking new customers, in my opinion. It seems like they have a lot of customers, but very few are happy. read more

What a difference in 3 years ! I stopped coming for about 6 months . Pleasantly surprised with the new crew here. Always greeted and never ignored whether it's entering or leaving. It's a much friendlier atmosphere. read more

This is a fairly new location for Planet Fitness and it seems everyone has found it. This gym is crowded. More than once my workout was rendered useless solely because there were too many people in the building at the same time. ( Think Hard Rock on a Saturday night). If you want a better gym experience, go to New Port Richey. read more

Staff is always friendly however this place is always way to packed. Never been to a gym you can't workout because every machine is taken. If you are only there to run on the treadmill then you are in luck because none of the pre-teens are using those. WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS!?!? read more

This planet fitness is out dated compared to my old planet fitness back where i use to live, cardio machines are still the old style machines with out the TVs in them that my old planet fitness had but with that being said this gym has fully functional equipment that one would need to work out. The gym wasn't hot it was nice and cool also the gym was clean the people who use the gym were cleaning machines off After each use. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming made my first visit there feel easy. My final thought is this gym is nice feels comfortable just barely misses giving it 5 stars from me only because of what I was use to at my old planet fitness. read more

Do not sign up as a member to the planet fitness location on Spring Hill Dr and Mariner. I was a member there for almost a year and move to a different state. After moving I tried to cancel my membership. I signed paperwork to cancel my my contract but instead of canceling my contract they continue to take money from my account. I then requested to have my account transferred to the state I am currently living in and cancel it that way and they refused to transfer the account until after they illegally took another payment from me and then after that transferred the account. Should this day not only as the owner refusing to call me to discuss the matter, the staff is rude and they are refusing to issue me a refund! Are nothing but criminals and thieves that work at this location including the owner himself! read more

I love this planet fitness. All of the equipment works great, the set up is way better then some planet fitness around. The tanning beds could use an upgrade or the bulbs changed more often but as for the important factors.. friendly front desk staff, That accommodates you when something is needed, a clean environment (For the most part) A guy who works at PF Is one of the best, he is always making the work out stations neat and nice, when you walk into the bathrooms they smell clean and fresh, although I can't say the same for other employees. From attending this gym for half a year I think I'm kinda aware of who does what, since I attend twice a day once in the afternoon and once late at night. The equipment is mostly always clean and working. The people are also friendly. Recommend for anyone who's ready for a work out at a great place for a good price. read more

Deceitful business practices and no help from manager regarding customer issues and problems. She continues to refer to your contract! Please read the very small print. I wish i would have reviewed the reviews before signing my son up! I would have never done it. No tour was given to me either, short staff, and no explanations of annual fees due dates! They are different from monthly due dates! So, if you want to cancel, you need to cancel before the 30th of the previous month; not between the 1st and 14th! Whats going on with the music at the Planet is it non existent. When we do cardio we need music that can be heard not only in specific areas. Are the speakers broken? Was told by a Planet Fitness employee that Corp. has ordered them to turn the music down the music has never been loud. Sure I could bring in my own headsets and listen to music the problem is that as I work out I sweat and the headsets are damp do not want to do that put the music on. read more

When I asked about signing up for a membership, I was told that I would need to provide routing and account numbers for my bank account. Planet Fitness no longer accepts credit cards. I double checked this online with planetfitness.com, which also asked me for my bank account information. I don't let anyone into my bank account, so they are not getting any of my money! read more
