There's a new Planet Fitness in town and its half the distance from our house than our usual location. It had been a while for me; 2025 was some year health wise. But today was a great breakthrough getting back to the gym. Friendly staff and a diverse clientele. Today I felt the burn! But not to overdo things this first day back of workouts. I got in a good 45 minutes. And like every Planet Fitness all of my favorite purple exercise equipment was there. We plan on making this spot a more frequent gym stop. read more

I've been coming to this Planet Fitness location since it opened, and overall I like the gym. It's clean, has the equipment I need, and most staff interactions have been positive. However, I've now had two uncomfortable interactions with a front desk employee named Deborah that left me feeling frustrated, unwelcome, and honestly unsafe. The first interaction happened while I was on the treadmill. Deborah approached me and told me that "someone complained" because I didn't have headphones on while watching something on my phone. I completely understand the common courtesy of using headphones in the gym, which is why I purposely chose a treadmill with empty machines on both sides of me, kept the volume extremely low, and even had captions on. The gym music, conversations, treadmills, and equipment were all significantly louder than my phone. When I explained this, Deborah herself responded, "Oh I know, I can't even hear it and I'm standing right here." That immediately confused me, because if she couldn't hear it standing next to me, I didn't understand why it was being treated like a complaint issue. When I asked who complained, she said she didn't know. The only people near me were a few women talking loudly together, so the situation felt strange and unnecessary. What bothered me most was not the reminder itself, I understand policies and courtesy rules exist. What bothered me was the approach. It felt like she blamed an "anonymous member complaint" instead of simply asking me directly to put headphones on. I later told Deborah that I didn't appreciate being told a story that didn't make sense when she could have just communicated honestly and respectfully. The second interaction happened when my app wasn't working and I asked to check in using my phone number. As I was walking away, Deborah stopped me and repeatedly pushed me to take a photo for the account. I told her multiple times that I was not comfortable doing that, but she continued pushing and giving reasons that were not accurate. I explained that I've been coming here for months without issue and that my home gym already has my photo on file. She incorrectly insisted this location was my home gym, even after my app showed otherwise. Again, the issue is not that she wants to do her job thoroughly. The issue is the way she communicates and disregards boundaries after being told "no." Not everything needs to become confrontational or overexplained. There's a difference between being helpful and making members feel uncomfortable. These interactions have created a negative feeling every time I come in and see her working. I hope management addresses the importance of respectful communication and listening to member concerns and boundaries. Way better than when it 1st opened (gave a 3 star). The facility has always been nice. But, since I haven't seen Dawn anymore and they have Angela as a manager, the customer service has really turned around. She is calm, smart, and very pleasant to be around. It's a huge franchise gym with hundreds of location throughout America. This location is relatively new and unspoiled as evidence by the machine equipments. Signed up online in about 5 minutes. With the app was able to do a workout right after sign up. Went a little after 4pm and most of the cardio equipment was open to use. Did 20 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the stair machine. All new equipment that syncs in real time with the Apple Watch. Staff was friendly and gym is huge, brand new, and relatively empty so far. Let's hope the new year doesn't change things!! Lol. read more

It's a basic new gym with basic employees who don't seem to really care about customer service or providing a quality experience. I guess they figure since they can only charge a low monthly rate, why bother with anything else. The first time I went was a Sunday where they have dumb hours and low quality employees. The 2nd time Mar 30, they had 2 workers chit chatting at the front while 3 dispensers had zero paper towels and 3 bottles of cleaner were empty. With a busy gym. That's how little they care... Here... But I am sure they will justify and protect the employee and the situation. read more

DO NOT SIGN UP!! First week trying this gym, not open the time posted. WiFi down 3 out the 6 days I attended. I chose this gym for the close location, recommended paying more and driving further to LA Fitness where they're open when they say they are and no issues with WiFi. read more

Planet Fitness is definitely worth your money, especially with the Black Card membership. What really makes this location special is that it is super duper clean. I have gone to other locations and it does not compare. There is no nasty sweaty smell or dust here! Employees are so friendly. I always enjoy this specific location. The only downside is I tried to take a shower in after my morning workout and the ladies showers were not getting any hot water which was a rude awakening to end a 6am workout. I left the water on for a few minutes too but it just wasn't getting hot. read more

Been a member since they opened. Love the proximity of the place from my house. Still have my Golds gym membership just in case. The gym is well-kept every day with adequate equipment. They have ample parking spaces as well. Friendly and attentive staff. My only suggestion is to have heavier kettlebells. read more

Tyler did an excellent job with giving me a tour of the gym. He was very thorough and knowledgeable explaining the new equipment and everything the gym had to offer. I was so satisfied with my experience I immediately got a membership at such a reasonable and affordable price. I did a pull/back workout so they had all the equipment to hit my lats, traps, and biceps. You hear all this stereotypical things about Planet Fitness and their lunk alarm and gymtimidation, but the thing is I felt very comfortable with the people in my surroundings and no intimidation at all. People basically mind their own business and do their own workout so its perfect for introverts like me. My only small gripe is that there are no dedicated barbell bench press and and barbell incline benches, but thats fine because you can easily set up your desired bench press set on the power rack area and they have plentiful smith machines to imitate a proper bench press motion. The employees are always being productive and cleaning down equipment too. Looking forward to doing my future workouts here at Planet Fitness in Valencia, CA! read more

Been to this gym a few times now and every time has been the same. This gym has horrible customer service at the front desk. For being a new start up spot for one of PF businesses, they need to work on their customer service. They will not be getting the business they want if they keep up their rude, lazy and horrible customer service at the front desk. Very disappointed in this PF location.
