This gym popped up on my search and I figured I'd be "good enough." Little did I know, this gym in this tiny town is better equipped than most gyms I go to in any big city! Granted, it was a strange set up and machines were maybe a bit too close to each other, but that's probably the best they could do if they wanted to provide machines for everything! It is actually decently sized, has multiple rooms for multiple purposes, the music was fun, the owner was great... Definitely recommend it!!

After checking out in the morning, we still wanted to do more in Wenatchee before heading back to Seattle. We quickly polled the kids while yelping to see what was available in the area for a good, kid-friendly fun. Unanimously, rock climbing was the top (well, the only) choice and off we went! The front desk staff were very friendly, inviting, and professional handling a large group of four families. Digitally signing the liability forms on their iPads was pretty simple and we were able to get the kids checked in with proper shoes and climbing harness apparatus. Once the kids were fully equipped, the staff guided all of us to the rock gym area, which was very spacious with numerous options, obstacles, and challenges. Their staff went over the specifics of each rock wall, how to secure the harness, safety features, what to do, and how to have fun. We were in great hands and I appreciate how inviting they were to the kids to try out any wall with their help. We loved every moment and our kids made many memories.

Ila Yoga considers pregnancy a "scheduling conflict."…read more I was surprised to see that lla Yoga charges a higher price point than my previous infrared studio in a far more expensive city, despite offering fewer classes and having a far more stringent expiration policy - but I was still willing to give them a try. Even more surprising is how l've been treated as a customer. I reached out to lla Yoga after purchasing 10 classes that I was unable to use all year due to pregnancy complications. I was told to reach out to them closer to when the classes expire. I will be unable to use the classes in the timeframe I was finally provided with upon reaching out to them yet again, and was told that it was far outside of their policy to continue pass extensions for scheduling conflicts, and that they hope I can be "understanding and respectful" as they are a small business. I cannot think of any other business that uses that wording in their stock reply to customers. Yes, they labeled pregnancy a "scheduling conflict". They use their small business status as an excuse for greed and poor customer service.

First of all, it's soo clean! Second, it's soo beautiful. Which, I guess is due to point number…read moreone. But also because of the natural wood, the spaciousness of the lobby, the light grey floors and muted purple walls in the practice room, the tasteful decor, hand towels in the bathrooms...I could go on. Best of all, it wasn't cluttered. There was just the right amount of "stuff" in the retail area. Each month's class schedule gets framed and displayed at the front desk. Even the bulletin board was pleasing to look at. Everything is just so quaint and charming! Now, I am a yoga teacher of ten years (and a practitioner, 16), so I think there's room for improvement for the two teachers I experienced. Nothing of alarm, just things that could have fine tuned the class. A little less loud music and singing bowl use, less breath command at the end of a posture, different phrasing for some parts that would've been more effective. But, I'm sure it'll get ironed out with time and feedback. The positive is that these people have heart. You truly feel like the teachers care for you. And Stephanie the owner is the sweetest gal I've ever met! What a treat for the Leavenworth community! I can't wait to practice there again! P.S. There are no showers here!

My favorite teacher is Troy with low morning lights, his inspirational guidance, and motivating students to push the practice if they'd like. Her gym's requirements are as you'd find in any other martial art/ sport program: be in time, respectful, be consistent, and genuinely enjoy what you doing! My kids loved her Boot Camps...as time goes on I see my little ones progress, physical improvement, stamina and knowledge of basic boxing techniques!

They always welcome my kids with a smile and a welcoming attitude. It's a commitment that we have never regretted taking on, and like every commitment, there are expectations that need to be met. Attendance, communication, dedication, and participation are very important in the process of the improvement of boxing skills. My kids have been attending this gym for about 3 years and have absolutely loved going to practice. They have learned so much and improved their boxing skills enormously from when they initially started. My kids have competed in multiple boxing tournaments all over the PNW and qualified to compete in national tournaments and have done fairly well for the amount of time they've been training. I visited this charming establishment during a visit to Wanatchee. Having never tried hot yoga…read morebefore, I had a thimbleful of nervousness upon entering, but it emptied quickly, as I was pleasantly surprised to find a very welcoming, calm, and judgment-free environment. The woman at the counter (whose name I did not get) was very kind, and the instructor, Jessie, led a very stress-free class where I felt able to go at my own pace and within my limits. The studio seems to have a strong sense of community, with regulars having a star chart on the wall and socializing after the session. The session itself was excellent, and while I shan't be returning (this will likely be the one time I ever visit the truly cool city of Wanatchee), it seems like a great spot for people who have ambitions to practice hot yoga, as well as the ones who already do.
