They don't make real grilled sandwiches; they barely toast the sandwich. The order system is wacky. One person takes a few orders and then stops to prep the sandwiches while new customers wait; another takes the prep, toasts it and then returns it to the front counter. My sandwich looked like lightly toasted bread. I expected a true grilled cheese sandwich. The staff was friendly, but the system and product needs improvement. read more

When I was kid, a grilled cheese sandwich was one of my mother's favorite things to make me for lunch. This place is in the Westfield Countryside Mall's food court. It was my first time trying one of Planet Grilled Cheese's sandwiches and I had a good experience. They have fancy sandwiches with different types of ingredients mixed in but I just had the cheapest "three cheese" for $4.99. I was happy with my lunch. I would come back. read more

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant. At first glance the menu is appealing with 8 different sandwich choices, 2 loaded fry choices, 3 sides, some soups, and then some lemonades, frosted lemonade variations, and 3 different smoothies. All in all some good choices. We decided to go with the bacon, cheese, ranch loaded fries, buffalo chicken sandwich, and Strawberry/Blackberry/Blueberry Smoothie. The smoothie..spot on and delicious. The loaded fries could have had more cheese but otherwise were seasoned and tasted good, and the sandwich had a thinner piece of chicken that could have been seasoned better. It was ok...but I'll come back and they another. But that could take a while, I'm not one for crowds and malls. The cashier was very upbeat, smiling, and offered variations of our initial order... well done. The gentleman who made our food and put it together was very congenial as well. As we were waiting for our food we could see into the kitchen where another two workers were doing prep for the day. They were wearing gloves, as required, but the thing is...once your hands touch your clothes or anything not food, you're requires to change them. The young man was continually touching his clothes and at one time pushed the trash can away with his open hand. He then proceeded to open the fridge and take out other food items. He didnt change the gloves once. This is cause for alarm. All in all, we will come back and try other menu items. I just hope they see this review and train on food prep requirements. read more

This place is in a mall food court and on a Saturday afternoon the order line was easily 25 people deep. The pick-up side had nearly 15 people waiting. We assumed it was great food with the wait. I mean heck, a traditional grilled cheese (a trio of cheeses) was $6. Overall, it was a bland and extremely basic Sammy. Really wished I had spent $6 on something different without the 25 minute experience of waiting to order and pickup food. My daughter got the Mac Daddy, a Mac & Cheese on a sammy. She said there were literally only 6 elbow macaroni on the entire sandwich. We were not impressed with the food quality or speed of service from the kitchen. However despite my feedback, the ladies at the front counter were smiling, upbeat and very pleasant. Kudos to them for laughing and joking with customers during the usually long wait. read more

The customer service was very friendly and prompt. I thought it was awesome that they offer a free kids meals with a purchase of $15 or more. So I decided to try the chicken bacon ranch premium meal. I got a lemonade to drink which was good, and loaded fries as my side. The fries were good however the bacon was very soft and soggy. The sandwich was horrible I took one bite and thought I might be sick, same with my partner. The chicken has a chewy consistency as if it came out of a can, it is 100% frozen strip chicken. Once again the bacon was very soft and paired with the sandwich left a very unpleasant taste and consistency in my mouth. read more

I visited the Clearwater Mall location yesterday with a mentally disabled client. The employees were very rude to him. While placing his order, he happened to mention a type of bread he wanted, to which an employee said to me, "we can't just sell him the bread". I was like, "he's not finished ordering yet". She responded, "well tell him to figure it out already and move along!". We were so disappointed and he refused to eat there so we ended up going somewhere else. These people need a serious lesson in how to treat people. read more

Was really excited for this restaurant to open up after months of seen the display put up. We only tried one item so far. Which is the Mac daddy which is a grilled cheese sandwich with macaroni inside. For the six dollars it costs it was pretty pitiful. Looks nothing like the photo with mac & cheese pouring out of the sandwich. Instead you get two pieces of bread which you have to open up just to find out that there is a little bit of mac & cheese inside. Also the picture shows white cheese along with a typical yellow cheese. The sandwich only consist of a single slice of yellow cheese with some cheese liquid that they pour on top which does not taste good at all. We will try them again one more time but I highly recommend a revisit how they make their sandwiches. Because they do not look like the picture. read more
