This is not my typical location to get my smoothie fix from, but was taking a family member to a doctor appointment and we all wanted smoothies. Since Planet Smoothie is typically my favorite we popped in to order. I ordered my normal and when it was put on the counter it did not look right and I even asked if that was my smoothie. The lady said - yeah. I tasted it and it did not taste anything like what I normally get. I asked if it could be tweaked since tasted all like banana. She said you asked for extra orange juice in your drink and I say yes, but not sure how it would taste like all banana then. Can I get a little bit more strawberry. She did a sigh and said fine. She added a little strawberry in it and that made it better, but not right. At this point I could tell there was no interest in fixing it so I just opted to drink it and go on with my day. The other drinks in our order were fine so that was good. I just know that I probably won't stop back in this location again due to limited service. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017: 34/100: This Planet Smoothie is very close to one of the facilities I work in. I travel a lot and don't have and office... So this Planet Smoothie has served me as a great "pit-stop" where I also get a smoothie as lunch. Most of the times I will pick their Captain Cherry smoothie, my favorite! I always ask for mine to have the granola "extra blended" (You can do that, you know... helps with keeping the granola flavor to a minimum, but still giving you the protein that you need in order to substitute a meal). Finally, contrary to other smoothie places (which shall not be mentioned), they have a good selection of sizes and fair prices for each size. Can't beat that! Bonus: Don't forget to enter your phone number at the tablet on the register... It's part of their rewards program! read more

I always get the same thing from here and today my smoothie tasted soured, I went in to tell them and right away the employee got defensive and felt the need to tell me how long she had been making smoothies ?? Weird.... she wasn't getting what I was saying I guess, so I had to explain it wasn't the technique (or whatever she thought her experience meant) it was a bad ingredient and something was just old so I wanted my money back since she obviously didn't even care to find out which ingredient was bad and was just going to try to play me like I was dumb and make it with the same stuff... I waited by the register since there was someone in front of me and I guess she didn't want to refund me, so she just had someone else make the same thing I just told her was bad and made it sweeter. Nothing like being skipped by 3 people after waiting in a long line because the new girl was struggling and the blonde behind the counter wasn't helping her. She was just getting frustrated that she was taking long and instead of 1 person doing the starter and putting in the blender and the other girl finishing them and cashing the customers out they just argued in front of everyone and caused a shit show. Then my smoothies tasted like chalk because they didn't mix them well and didn't have the cups so they put them on styrofoam. What a waste of time and bullshit. I like planet smoothie. the flavors are good, they have a nice selection of smoothies, gluten free breads and protein bars. This location however is kinda hit or miss, some days they are fast to get you in and out and others you are literally waiting behind 5 people with only one person making smoothies, ringing you up and everything else and said one person never gets in a real hurry read more

I can't remember the last time I was in planet smoothie. I ordered the small classic PJB (peanut butter bananas and a bunch of other wonderfulness) the sales girl showed me the large which was HUGE!! The small is perfect sized and it's super tasty. This center isn't busy - but the two people working were nice, the smoothie tasted great. People should come here more. read more

Do you like smoothies? Of course you do. And at Planet Smoothie, there's a flavor for everyone! This is conveniently located in West Volusia Towne Center. You can pick up a smoothie and walk around to go visit some of the other various shops in this complex. Or you can just sit inside the shop and enjoy your smoothie there. Whatever you choose to do, I can almost guarantee you're going to love your smoothie. My personal favorite smoothie flavor there is "PB&J." It contains yogurt, bananas, peanut butter and strawberries. It is beyond delicious. If you dig peanut butter, I highly recommend it. They also have "blasts" you can add to any beverage, for a little extra money. "Blasts" are magical powders they add to give your smoothie an extra boost of whatever you're looking for. They're available in multivitamin, fiber, immunity, energy, fat burner, protein, and workout. I'm giving Planet Smoothie 4 out of 5 stars because it's terrific, but also expensive. read more

My sister and I always go to this location after a workout for an excellent protein shake. Last night we called the store at about 8:45 and placed the order while we drove there. The person in the phone asked how far we were I advised right down the street on Saxon. She stated she needed to close the doors at 9 and I replied we would be there shortly. We pulled up right to the door. It was exactly 9 and I ran in. Sammy had the drinks on the counter. I didn't have enough on hand when she stated the price (way over what we normally get charged so I was surprised) so I ran out and as I was heading out she stated "are you kidding me" I ignored her, got the money and paid while asking for a receipt. I don't know if she heard me or not but she did not provide it. So I asked for it again only because what we were charged. I explained to my sister the reason for the receipt and Sammy replied in a nasty tone "next time call your order in by 8:30". Overall her attitude was very unprofessional. We looked over the receipt and the drinks were wrong, did not taste good at all, and we were overcharged with rude behavior. When my sister went in today to make the complaint she was advised Sammy was the manager of the location. Wow!! So I am sending an email to the district manager and will see how my review changes. I will make sure to visit this location when the manager Sammy is not there. Not a good example for her team. read more

Service is good, shop is clean, smoothies are ehhhhhhh (3 stars for taste; 1 star for price). Twigs & Berry reminds me of Jamba Juice's banana berry but more bland. I'd go more often but they just aren't affordable. read more
