We called at 10pm to have our car towed in the morning and the guy who answered was nice until he suggested we couldn't get the car towed at that time due to rush hour (we told him it shouldn't be an issue because it's Sunday and there is not rush hour). Amazing service! My sports car broke down and needed a flatbed tow due to being all wheel drive and lowered to the ground. The owner gave me a 30 to 45 minute eta. The driver (which I learned later was the OWNER) arrived within 20 min! He was very professional and made sure every attempt was made to prevent any damage to my sports car. Response time is EVERYTHING when your car breaks down, especially when on a date! I called Planet Towing when my Ford F150 had some mechanical issues leaving us in a parking lot in Des Plaines. The owner answered after 2 rings, said he be there in 15-20 minutes but came in 10. Most tow truck companies bring a flatbed for trucks so they can charge you more, instead he made sure my truck had optional 4 wheel drive BEFORE he came out there to keep the tow cost down and arrived with a typical tow truck. He was not only prompt, inexpensive but very personable. After he towed my truck to my work, he drove me and my date to a nearby restaurant so it wouldn't be a complete disaster. The prius wouldn't start. It needed to go back to the dealership so maybe they could fix it right this time. I called Planet Towing and they arrived about 30 minutes later. We discussed the problem and decided to try jumping the ignition battery. It started but I didn't know if it would make it or not. I was thinking about towing it anyway.
