The nurse and staff were warm and understanding, but the doctor was cold and treated me as though I were a hypochondriac (I didn't go to the doctor for ten years, I'm a skeptic, not a hypochondriac. "If I'm not dying, fuck it" was my mentality for ten years). She dismissed my concerns of genital warts and declined to treat me, and then a few months later, more showed up. I know what warts look like, she clearly does not. I went in for a PAP smear and they found HPV. I got an HPV vaccine (1 of 3) and they said they'd call when it was time for the next one.
