Nina and her team are absolutely wonderful. Without them, our wedding would've truly been chaotic and stressful!
My wife and I are no strangers to the wedding scene (we are event photographers) and we thought we had everything down and under control since we've seen the process so many times. My wife created a spreadsheet of all the things that needed to be done and I made sure they were completed and ready to go by our wedding date. Little did we know that it was more involved than that-- despite our thorough preparation, all would have been for naught if we didn't have someone competent to execute it on the day of. Luckily we came to our senses a few months before the big day and decided to look up a wedding coordinator that would help ensure that things went smoothly.
Enter Nina. Nina was our "day of" planner for our wedding in Newport Beach along with her crew. Even though she only had a few months notice before our special day, she made sure everything we've planned so far looked sound. We only hired her for the day of the wedding, but she went above and beyond and helped us from the moment we booked her. Her attention to detail is astounding, and she wasn't overbearing when it came to her opinion on what may or may not work better than the choices we've made. It was very clear that she understood that it was our special day and even with some of our more outrageous requests, she found a way to make it happen (i.e. getting our wedding party of 22 people fast food drive thru during our pictorial session after the church and before the reception. How she coordinated that and delivered at our shoot location is beyond me and was appreciated by everyone in the party bus!)
On the day of, she and her team were a godsend. I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I thought my wife and I would be able to handle all that she did by ourselves, AND get married at the same time. It's physically impossible! She and her team were easy to work with and it really felt like they were everywhere when we needed them. Most of all, they were always happy to help, and you can genuinely see that they were (unlike some wedding coordinators where you can see them clenching their teeth when they ask if you need anything, lol.) Having a wedding coordinator that REALLY loves what he/she does is especially important because they will be orchestrating the whole day and be communicating with your other vendors. The last thing you need is one with an attitude that will set off a bad vibe. Nina and her girls are the kindest ones I've met yet, without sacrificing professionalism (and I've worked with many). I'm truly happy that my wife and I went with her and her team for our own wedding.
I'd happily recommend Nina to anyone that needs a coordinator! Professionalism, attention to detail AND genuine friendliness can be hard to find nowadays when looking for a coordinator-- Nina is certainly one of maybe a few in this area :). read more
