I have been wanting to try this place for a while, and I was happy to finally have the opportunity to do so for a Friday lunch run with a coworker. I had the PBH Classic and he had the Fye Junt Burger. The Beyond Meat patties had a firm texture and held up well in between the toppings and the condiments. The burgers were pretty messy, mostly due to a lot of sauce. I wish I had went for the Fye Junt because I felt the classic sauce needed more of a kick to it. I tried my friend's burger and it was not overly spicy. We also had some fries, but they were a bit dry and could have benefited from some sort of sauce. The food is all made to order right behind the counter, so I felt good about what I was eating and didn't mind the wait. Next time I hope to try the Fried Cauliflower. Happy to support a local business, especially one that offers fresh vegan and vegetarian items. read more

In town for a few days and was surprised to see a brand new black owned vegan restaurant. I saw the menu prior to going in to order. Had my eyes set on a chickun sandwich. My husband settled for vings. The food is great. However, the service is rather on the slow side. After paying, I kindly asked how long will it take to receive the food. Lady at counter said 25 minutes. Cool. Let me chill in my car and wait. Went back in at the 25 min mark and STILL waited another 15 minutes for vings, sandwich and fries. There was no long line whatsoever. It seems like the need to invest in a bigger space and more cooks. So yes, great food. Slow as hell service. Call ahead to save you some frustration. read more

This place is AWESOME. Oh my god SO good. We went 2 days in a row because we had to try more of the menu. The mushroom basket, vings, and sweet potato tots were so good we got them both days. I also got a corn dog today, which was perfect. So simple, so tasty! We also had a piece of their lemon cake yesterday, which was so great for my mom's birthday. And the Arnold Palmer's are so good we got 2 each today. We got the pecan philly yesterday and next time we'll try the mushroom philly. I love the pecans tho, so creative. I have been wanting to try this place for months now, and I am so glad that we finally got the chance to stop in . My husband and I visited for lunch on Friday. Although the place is very small , the food is utterly amazing . I had the jackfruit bbq sandwich which is probably the best vegan bbq sandwich I have had ever! I also tried their Mac n cheese and it was so amazing to be able to have good Mac n cheese at a restaurant that I could actually eat. Even their lemonade was amazing ! After changing my mind a dozen times (absolutely everything sounded good) I ordered the Italian sausage and a street corn to go. The wait time wasn't bad, but I came in at an off peak time. Food cooked to order, served hot and fresh. The sausage sandwich was so good, I couldn't believe it wasn't meat. The street corn was AMAZING! some of the best vegan food i've ever had and i've been vegan 6 years this upcoming November. the girls at the counter were extremely sweet, food came out in maybe less than 10 minutes! pretty quick. my husband loved his smoked burger Fye Junt (i tried a bite, super good) i got the lemon pepper & agave gold chicken wings, SO GOOD! they were literally incredible. i'd come back just for those. the mac & cheese was okay.. not my favorite but that is alright! We both got fries and a drink as well . That burger was so good I could've cried eating it you could taste all the seasonings & the vings were just as good ! He let us know exactly what did he was waiting in , what he was doing with our food , etc without us even having to ask . the wait was a bit long ( prolly 25-30 minutes ) but it was very much well worth it ! Taking off a star due to rude service (from every cashier I've encountered other than the owner himself who is very sweet) and the state of the restaurant itself. I recommend getting takeout and ordering ahead of time online to cut down on the hour long wait that is typical of this place. Whenever the owner isn't present it looks like the rest of the staff just decides to not clean the tables off at all and let ketchup and ranch stains litter the surfaces. No AC so expect fans. If you have an aversion to vinegar smells you're better off not ordering anything with buffalo/hot on it. A few of the highlights: - This place feels "Memphis," in the best kind of way! - Home-y feel, both in the food and service - Most all the bases covered on the menu for vegan southern food. (Burgers, BBQ, wings, beans, veggies, slaw, etc) The wait time IS pretty lengthy, but we didn't find that to be all that bad. It's not a fast food chain, and shouldn't be treated as such. Everything is made to order, and since they are so new they are clearly still managing prep levels etc... The BBQ sandwich was a favorite from the things we ordered.
