This place was great. The service was very quick, and the staff was very friendly. It has plenty of seats inside, but if you prefer, you can take it to go. I ordered the Baja chicken wrap with Cheddar jalapeño tortillas. The flavor was great, and it was big enough to have left overs. It comes with a free bag of chips. Highly recommended if you have few time to grab lunch!

Cool they have a piano I wonder when does someone play it

I had a vegan wrap I don't eat meat it was tasty and filling. It took a very long time to get my food I think they lost my order there was only me in line when I came in so I don't know what happened. When I went up to check on it they did compensate me with some delicious chocolate chip cookies. The place was nice the chairs a bit shaky but for the overall experience it was good.

I needed something healthy I could order and eat quickly. I almost went to the Subway nearby but I wanted something unique to Downtown. Then I ran into this place. I am extremely glad I did. The workers are friendly and fast and the food is great with a huge variety of choices. I have a nearly unhealthy obsession with Thai food so when I saw the Thai wrap available I couldn't resist. The guy who took my order said it would only take 5 minutes but it definitely took much less. At first when I started to eat I was surprised by how small it was. They give you both halves of the wrap in a bag and I, being silly with hunger, thought they had only given me half. I found the other half by accident when I went to clean up and throw my stuff away! Haha. The wrap itself was wonderful with the sweet spicy Chile sauce helping tremendously. It would've been dry without it. I was wondering how they would fit noodles into a wrap but they ended up being the fried kind (which made sense). The Gyro Wrap is their newest one and I loved it~! The Garlic Herb Wrap was awesome and I definitely think I'll get it with all my wraps in the future. I swapped out the pickles for black olives because I figured they would clash. All the sauce pools in the bottom of the wrap, by the way. It's good, but there's not a lot of meat in that part. Loved: - Dirty Jalapeno Heat - Garlic Herb Warp - Gyro Wrap (with black olives instead of pickles) - Thai Chicken Ok: Wheat Wrapz

Broken down filthy air conditioner with no filters.

I normally don't expect to be overwhelmed by a Wrap, but if they're supposed to be "gourmet" then I gotta check it out! I wouldn't consider this gourmet by any means. It would be acceptable as gas station food, but nothing else. The tortilla had been refrigerated too long and dried out and tough in places. The apple cobbler had been microwaved and was a pitiful excuse for cobbler. The air conditioners weren't working and they were blowing fans around. There's an air handler by the bathrooms with no air filters in it and it's completely filthy. They asked me what I was doing standing by the bathroom door. I said I was waiting to wash my hands and there must be somebody in there because the door was locked. He told me they keep it locked and it must have been too much hassle for them to unlock it, because they invited me behind their food counter to wash my hands in their work area! I don't care if homeless people are going in there and shaving their legs! You are running a business and selling to the public! Provide the damn bathrooms!

Soup and salad

Slow service, bad prices. I paid 9 dollars for a tiny salad and a sample of soup that had no taste on top of being disappointed in the food I had to wait 15 minutes for it. Don't waste your time going here.

Buffalo wrap

I ordered through Uber Eats, and they prepared the food very quickly. I ordered a buffalo wrap with chicken, and it was delicious! Great buffalo sauce flavor. My issue is that the wrap was very small for the price. Almost a third of the wrap was just where the tortilla was folded over. If they would've added more filling to the wrap, I would've given them a 5.

Hole-in-the-wall right by an apartment in the heart of downtown. Wow. I have no words for the service and the food. 10/5 on both.

My sandwich was very good! $10 is pretty fair for what I got. I loved the sauce, the meat was also really good. The tater salad was AMAZING! I'd get a large of it everytime I eat there if this was a local place for me. The meal was a solid 9/10 If you're in Memphis and you want some good BBQ made with heart and soul, then you should try Elwood's. The only thing missing from my meal that would've completed it for me was some hot buttery cornbread. I'll certainly be back to try their ribs and other foods!

I took the advice, and I'm really glad I did. It was fantastic--stacked with pulled pork, smoked sausage, and beef brisket, all topped with slaw and BBQ sauce on a bun. I also tried a bite of the barbecue bologna, which is a thick-cut slice served on white bread, and that didn't disappoint either. Inside gets pretty smoky, so you'll probably prefer sitting outside. Luckily, there are plenty of picnic tables and seating areas to choose from. I didn't catch the name of the guy who helped me, but he was friendly, energetic, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, a really enjoyable visit.

Here's a clean, strong review that keeps your energy: Hands down one of the best spots in town. The beer selection is top-tier--something for everyone, whether you're into classics or trying something new. The food is next level, especially the fries... easily top 3 I've ever had. Crispy, flavorful, and addictive. The atmosphere seals the deal: great music, high energy, and the fact that they're open until 3am is a game changer. Best part? The service is always on point. Staff is friendly, fast, and actually cares about the experience.

One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences I've Had After…read moreattending a Pride event and visiting from out of town, my friend and I stopped by Bar Dogs late at night/early in the morning on June 7th, hoping to grab some food before heading back to our hotel. Unfortunately, we were met with one of the rudest bartenders I've ever encountered. As soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender--a Caucasian woman with a short haircut whose name I unfortunately didn't get--greeted us with an attitude that immediately made us feel unwelcome. Instead of providing friendly service, she was dismissive, impatient, and rushed us through placing our to-go order. She informed us that we could not eat at the bar, which was completely fine. We agreed without any issue and ordered our food to go. However, when my food arrived, I simply opened the container to make sure my order was correct before leaving. She immediately rushed back over and aggressively said, "Didn't I tell you that you could not eat at the bar?" I hadn't taken a single bite--I was only checking my order. Rather than politely clarifying the policy, she continued to scold us and make us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We still hadn't even received my friend's food, yet she seemed more interested in lecturing us than providing basic customer service. Once my friend's food finally arrived, we left as quickly as possible. As visitors in town celebrating Pride, we expected a welcoming atmosphere and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced hostility, impatience, and a complete lack of professionalism. There's a huge difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers with disrespect, and this bartender clearly doesn't understand that distinction. The food may have been fine, but the service was so unpleasant that I would never return or recommend Bar Dogs to anyone looking for a friendly place to eat or have a drink. Customer service training is desperately needed.
