Support local plant nurseries!…read more Green Hills Nursery is an amazing place to shop if you're looking to spruce up your home with some indoor plants or add a little style to your front or backyard landscape. I came here looking for a lemon tree and some bougainvillea plants. Their variety of citrus plants they have here is amazing. Everything from orange trees to lemon trees and grapefruit to kumquats. I purchased a dwarf pink lemon tree, which I didn't even know existed. Supposedly, these lemons are yellow with greenish stripes on the outside with pink flesh on the inside, but still have that classic lemon taste. I didn't purchase any bougainvillea plants this time around, because of the lack space of my car, but there is a gorgeous selection of bougainvillea plants in every color and variety here. I also purchased an aloe plant that they had on sale, marked down to $24.99 from $50! If you're looking for succulents their selection is a little on the small side, but they do have a ton of tradition outdoor cacti and large palms as well. Beyond plants, they carry every sort of gardening, tool, soil, and outdoor decor you could ever need for your house. During my visit here, everything on the grounds was 10% off because they were celebrating their 10-year anniversary. Im so happy to see a local business thrive and I hope they're here for another 10+ years!

My sister and mom come here more frequently than I do to get all their garden essentials, and they say it's pretty affordable and is the best place to go to for its wide selection. I definitely would come here if I was a more frequent gardener, but for now I'll have to stick to getting maybe a basil plant here and there for my garnish.

I was invited by a friend to go visit succulent, vertical gardens and of course I said yes. Anything that has to do with succulents, I'm there. I love the set up and how easily it was to view all of their succulents. I love that they have classes and do private parties. Everyone I came in contact with there was super nice and knowledgeable about the different kinds of succulents and where they would grow best , how big they would get and the overall maintenance of all the plants. The prices were really reasonable. At first, I was just going to look, but then seven plans later, I came to the conclusion that I was actually there to shop. We walked around for a while because there was so much to look at. I will definitely be going back again and again.

This time I went, utaking a couple of friends for a birthday celebration. We or rather I treated them to the potting bar Situation. With a small party of under six people, we could do a walk-in event and not have to make an appointment. For parties of six or greater it's best to get a reservation and have a set time. The vertical garden had a number of tables dotted around their facility. They've changed their set up slightly so that they have a number of garden rooms. This creates a feeling of intimacy while you're crafting in your event. For the base price of I believe it's $35 you receive the potting soil, the event, toppings of small pebbles, regular moss. You pick whatever succulents you want to include in your potting after you choose the size of container which you want to purchase The Succulents and the container cost are add-ons. You might want to do a ferry garden and have figurines and they have many different choices from which to select and purchase. The staff member explains everything to you and then you go to town. You can take as short or as long as you wish. My friend who was celebrating her birthday, had an absolute ball. We had many many varieties of succulents to choose from; it was a fun and relaxing day in early spring. There's enough shade cover to make it very pleasant and accommodating, and they have water available. What really makes it great is that they have lots of different arrangements on the walls and on the side bars so that you can Walk around the gardening center and see examples of some things you might like to create. This is a fun and unique experience for those who are interested in gardening and want a special event that's fairly affordable. Your gardening buddies will have a pleasant relaxing morning or afternoon. All in all an excellent experience and we all came home with something unique and beautiful.

He will also consult with customers who want to learn how to do bonsai themselves, and will do the yearly pruning and maintenance on trees as well. I haven't gone on any of the gathering trips with Bullseye Bonsai, but I have heard great things from people connected with these events. He's also developed a safe method for shipping trees. You just aren't going to get a better quality, healthy bonsai with beautiful classic lines for such a fair and reasonable price. Honestly - buy some of Donald's trees now before he gets uber famous.
