Then the finally called me and changed the address. I received my plants, immediately opened them and took the attached photos. None of them would have been purchased had the buyer seen them. Their website shows healthy full, leafy plants at least 8" high, mine were unhealthy and about 4"-6". At this point, two might survive but will probably not produce, the other two have died. I emailed The Tasteful Garden the pictures and have not heard back from them. I will never purchase from them again and am warning you to beware of this company. After reading other reviews on their Google page, I'm not the only highly dissatisfied customer. They give excuse after excuse and blame the consumer for every negative review.

That proved immensely helpful because I was overwhelmed the second my feet hit the dirt! A lovely lady, Rebecca, approached and asked how she could help. She was very happy that I brought the pot sizes as well as where I intended to place them (sun/shade). In no time at all I had a wagon full and with what my friends and I purchased, my trunk space was full. Pricing is a bit on the high side but honestly, the stock is beautiful, healthy and the variety is abundant. Add in the personal attention I received and it was money well spent because a multitude of choices were offered for the specific types of plants I needed. If I wasn't really liking something she suggested, we moved on. She was so helpful! On my next visit I will take some time to browse inside the store, they had some lovely gift ideas but time wasn't on my side at that point. Such a fun outing! (As for getting there, I-65 South was fine on the way there even though a significant stretch is under construction. The return was jammed so we came back on Hwy 31. While it took longer, there were no traffic delays.)

I had some time to look around, inside and outside in the greenhouse, and I saw a lot of decorative items, like statuaries, bird baths and seasonal items that are unique. I'm a fan of plants and flowers that aren't found at every other store so I will go back to do some major shopping when it gets closer to spring. This is not part of a retail chain and is locally owned and oby the owners themselves and I prefer to "shop local" and give them my business. So sad to see this nursery has closed. I wish the owners much success in their next venture.
