Still love this little Plant Shoppe!! I was first introduced to it through a Yelp Elite event last year and when another opportunity presented itself to experience it again with the Yelp community, I couldn't have RSVP'd fast enough They don't even have flowers I their shop, but it smelled SO amazing when we went in there. And the bursts of lush greens with splatters of reds and browns and yellow was just gorgeous and so very inviting. The changed their layout just a bit, and it seemed like there was more room to see and take in all of the beautiful plants. No matter your style of "green," they're going to have something for you! Once I find the perfect vase, I'm going back to get one of their money trees that was sitting in the front. They're so adorable and my daughter can't wait to put a "mini tree" in her room! If you love plants and like to collect rare or unique ones, Plant Shoppe is the place for you! Their variety in indoor plants is outstanding, plus they are always bringing new selection on their monthly shipments. They recently did a 20% off on all plants and was able to get a Monstera Thai for $36 which is pretty unheard of. Besides their amazing indoor plants and curated goods, they host monthly events like free yoga classes, sound bath sessions, craft classes and much more. They have small plants for $8-15, mini plants for $5, and larger plants were $20+. A lot of philodendron varieties, calethea, spider plants, snake plants, cacti, pothos, hanging plants, monstera, string of Pearl and many other tropical, unique varieties that I hadn't seen before. I bought two cute mini plants, they are small cuttings in little pots for $5 and a $12 small yellow ceramic pot which was adorable. Would want to browse the store more! Omg! The Plant Shoppe is such a cool place. I was the first to say that I have NEVER had a plant! But I'm ready to explore the "Plant Mom" life!! There were so many cool plants in the shop and believe me I asked A LOT of questions! The staff was super friendly and patient answering all my questions and recommending the right plant for me! He also explained the watering schedule and how to replant the plant I picked. I picked up a 4" Sansevieria to keep at work at my desk. I went into the plant shoppe for the first time today and had the pleasure of meeting the owner Tori who is very knowledgeable in all things plants. She explained so many different plans to me and whether they were inside or outside plants and how to water them . So seeing all her beautiful plants, I decided to go with a Chinese money plant ( Pilea peperomioides ). It's an easy indoors plant that needs very little watering and good for somebody like me who doesn't have much time to take care of plants and who has a tendency of killing plants ( lol ). Tori sells everything from plants to cactuses to plant supplies, to smudges, to air, floating plants, to perfumes, to incense, to some wall decor. You pretty much name it she has it inside her plant store . The store gives off a very warm and friendly vibe and kind of an eclectic feeling that I really liked. Everything went well! What a beautiful and welcoming place. Tori was so kind and patient. She sure knows her plants. There is a variety of plants and they are fairly priced. While there's not much parking space, Plant Shoppe has a wide variety of plants to choose. It's located on St. Mary's street beside a tattoo shop and it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. The nice and the service is great! Upon entering Thera an amazing smell of Palo santo burning which made me the experience even better. Beautiful little shop. I had an opportunity to visit this quaint little shop with my husband. I got a Yelp invite to come in for a visit. Parking is very limited so I appreciated the advanced noticed of such. There is parking on the street next to it but be mindful that if they're busy you might have a little walk. When you do pull up it has a nice inviting look. When you walk in your senses are immediately greeted with a wonderful fragrance and luscious greenery. They have all types of beautiful plants. The staff were very friendly. The shop even had a beautiful black cat that greeted us at the register. There is all types of items for sale, not just plants. This shop felt like you walked into an alternate place where you just get a sense of calm. I walked out with a small plant, and a small bundle of lavender and eucalyptus. It was very fragrant. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will be back to get more bundles. I heard it's good for when you shower since it has calming properties. So excited. Definitely a place worth stopping at if you have the opportunity. Oh, and the cookie I got needs to be sold there too. Very nice touch. read more

Feeling a little out of sorts of the other day, but walking into this plant store immediately brightened my day and put a big smile on my face! Super cute plant store! I was in green envy... so many lovely plants. An array of houseplants, cacti, succulents, air plants, and hanging vs trees. They even have pottery, cards, and gifts! The employees were super sweet and informative as I had many questions regarding individual plants. I ended up buying a 4" maranta or sleeping plant- love the variegated foliage and picked up a ficus tree. Can't wait to plant them! What a cute plant shop. On the corner of St. Mary's Street, the establishment is small but packed full of finds. They have lots of different types of greenery from cactus to ivy to tropicals. Low light. Bright light. Air purifying and pet friendly plants. It is like a small jungle inside. They also have pots, wall hanging containers and macrame. Plant food. Watering cans. Cards and more. Thanks to Fernanda for the details on construction and parking for this Yelp event. I knew it could be crowded so I brought up the Google Maps with traffic and watched the traffic. It was crowded at lunchtime, but looked better about 1PM so I set out. Pleasantly surprised after 1PM that there was adequate parking on Mistletoe. It's open even though it only looked half paved, with large steel plates in several areas. This is probably the best use of this property I have seen. Large windows on two sides give you a look into a store full of plants. I like that they offer many different sizes for many of their plants. And such a great selection of plants that purify the air and can live in low light conditions away from windows. The ladies at the shop were very nice and welcoming to the Yelp attendees. I got my free plant from a nice selection and wanted buy one to keep it company. The staff are very knowledgeable about the plants they sell, including how much light each one likes, how often to water, and how big they can grow to. Much better experience than those big box stores that sell plants. Their staff rarely know the details of their plants. They have a great website that shows nice photos of the plants, what kind of light and watering needs they have and a description of the plant. Helpful when you forgot what they said about watering. read more

This is a nicely laid out store - there have many plants with lots of options, depending on your style and price range. They have a good selection of succulents and plants ranging from tiny Hoyas to more established ZZ plants. I was particularly impressed to see some baby rope Hoya, which (I hear) are hard to propagate and therefore unusual to find in nurseries. They had some good looking philodendrons as well. However, if you decide to purchase from here, make sure you check the health of the plant before you buy. I looked at a few monstera that were pretty leggy, which implies they aren't getting enough light. The pink princess had lost most of the pink, which also implies lack of light. I ended up buying a plant on clearance and realized after I got home that it was sticky, which means the leaves are covered in honeydew (aka the results of pests). The price was fair, but I'm going to end up pitching it so I don't risk infecting my other plants. Cool store, nice vibe, but the plant quality seems to vary quite a bit. read more

We have been wanting to visit this place for almost 2 years so when we got the Yelp invitation to visit this business we jumped at the opportunity. What a beautiful store - from the aesthetics to the heavenly aromas of incense it immediately brought a calmness within minutes. There were plants I had never seen and I wanted to get 15-20 but time and budget wouldn't allow it. So we picked 3 and bought planters too - Emily and Mika were kind enough to repot them for us. Ambience: A solid 5 Selections: I'd go an 11 out of 5 Staff: Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful so again a solid 5 Value: we gladly paid more but remember this is not a Lowe's and frankly the selections were more exotic, better taken care of so definitely happy to support a local business any day if the week. So, this was my first Yelp Elite event I assisted, and it was such a nice experience ! Plant Shoppe has the most sweet, kind and helpful staff, everyone is so friendly! I got in line and when it was my turn to get the free plant for all Yelp Elite members, I ask the lady what was her favorite plant and why, she chose a gorgeous, very full, beautiful green plant and told me all the good reasons why it was her favorite out of all the plants for the Yelpers. So I took it! And they gave me the official Yelp Elite Mug (peltre mug I loved it!) and a cookie with the Yelp logo from Baked By Blair :) oh! And I met Blair! Super nice lady! The selection of planta they have here is amazing! I am new with plants, that is why I wanted to attend, and they have so much to offer here! The prices are very reasonable and the planta and pots beautiful! If you come here you will leave with at least one plant! It's so hard to make a choice because all the plants are stunning! Also, they have super cute jewelry, soaps, incense and a lot more! Perfect for a cute gift :) This small business run by women deserves to be seen and visited because it really is one of a kind!
