It's hard to describe just how much this greenhouse has to offer. The selection is incredible, and walking through it feels like you're exploring a botanical garden surrounded by beautiful plants and greenery. Everywhere you look, there's something new to admire. Whether you're looking for flowers, trees, houseplants, seeds, soil, gardening tools, outdoor décor, pots, or just inspiration for your next project, you'll find it here. The variety is impressive, and it's easy to spend hours browsing. Prices are reasonable. Staff is helpful if you ask for help.. Rows upon rows of flowers, vegetable plants, etc. This isn't your Lowe's Garden Center. I'm particularly impressed by their selection of roses to choose from. My mom had a lot of fun today. Since it was quickly getting hot, we didn't do much outdoor shopping, but she did buy a lot of seed packets and some lily bulbs. Things here are a little more expensive than other places but on the other hand, many places won't have the selection Rainbow Gardens has. The folks running it are also very nice and helpful.

Going to Shades of Green is like visiting a botanical garden. Lots of shade trees for comfortable browsing during warm San Antonio days. Beside plants they have a lot of cool fountains you can purchase. I have purchased annual vegetables and flowers here for decades. Sad to see them close, but looking forward to their next chapter.

They have a huge selection of both indoor and outdoor plants, and they just keep adding more and more selection of plants to their repertoire. If you love indoor plants, you have to check out their greenhouse. It always has a huge selection of plants from all sizes. They also recently opened a section of cacti and succulents which is super cool. I am not really into those plants, but just walking inside that section makes me feel like I am in Arizona or somewhere else. Frankly it is just magical how much one section can change to the next. Also, the service here is always excellent. I've got some amazing recommendations and tips to take care of my plants from the people that work here. In regards to the value, I think their prices are great for a small business. Anyhow, y'all can see I really love this plant nursery and I think it is a must if you are looking for a new plant baby or just want to take in nature.
