I may have passed a sign that said as much but I didn't see one. I passed at least 6 other people on my way in who didn't seem to notice me going into a restricted area of the base. This is a hidden gem! We stumbled upon it on google and went to explore the farm to possibly pick…read moreapples. When we got there we learnt apple picking was not happening anymore but they have a huge property with alot of vegetables, a walking and tasting tour and a horse!!! First we met Ben, the magical horse who made our day! We got to brush his hair , feed him and just hang out with him. What a unique experience! Note- They host birthday parties there so the horse can play with the kids. Next we met the main farmer who took us on a walking tour of everything they grow. We tried the most unique flowers, herbs, leaves, etc. most memorable were the chocolate mint, fennel, quinine, edible flowers that taste like cucumber. We tasted alot more including their honey which was great! The farmer was funny, engaging and so knowledgeable too! They sell plants and dried herbs and honey along with veggies and other things. We bought a few things and some plants and had a great chat with the kind farm owner. She is just amazing and knew everything about everything on the farm! Highly recommend! Note- They have parking on site and carry cash to buy things!

I picked a very healthy bunch of chard- $6 and then i had 2 beets also $6- what I object to is she says the price (not of everything) but doesn't define what constitutes a bunch. We ended up spending close to $100 for some starts and very little produce. The owner actually seemed embarrassed by the high prices when we commented at check out but still went ahead with outrageous pricing. Glad to support it the 1x but probably won't be returning as it is too precious for me.

I purchased two avocado trees, hand-picked by their staff, at an outrageous $375 each, thinking the trees would be mature and produce fruit sooner. Within months, one tree overproduced and died, clearly a sign of a bad tree or bad advice. When I reached out to Gary for help, he refused to offer a replacement or even a reasonable discount, showing zero care for customer loyalty. His prices are absurdly inflated--Home Depot offers far better quality trees at a third of the cost. Save your money and shop elsewhere; Golden Gate Palms isn't worth its premium price.

With all the options of hydroponic stores, I would have to say that this location was pretty well…read morestocked and nearly had all the reagents I needed for my plant care since I wanted to transition to hydroponics. The location is slightly off the highway but on a very busy street. There's only street parking available so if you're in need for anything heavy - I'd suggest parking as close the store as possible. When I walked in, the store was brightly lite and very organized. I was thrilled to see a lot of the things that I needed was in store so I had to figure out what was priority on my shopping list since some of the reagents were originally pricey. The gentlemen that helped me didn't say much but was able to suggest a few options that were similar to what I needed but I politely declined and got the items that was within my daily budget. One thing that I was worried about was getting persuaded into purchasing something that was way overpriced and something that I didn't need but I never felt that here. The service was straight forward and I was in and out within fifteen minutes. The prices here are relatively similar to what you could find online so It's great to know that your monies will be going to a local shop rather than big competitors.

They are super nice, very friendly, and full of information. They accept cash and venmo. She was also previously very responsive and informative to my inquiry via voicemail. She called me back and left a very thorough voicemail answering my questions. I think when they're not open, the daughter has a limited supply in the booth next to the sidewalk, with a flier showing digital payment method. Plenty of free street parking.
