They painted the ground, the rocks, our flower beds, hose bibs, etc.. midway through the project they randomly told us they were no longer going to paint our back deck. When we asked them to be more conscientious and considerate of our property, we got a bunch of attitude and aggression from both the painters and their manager Dave. When we brought up our issues to the owner, Matthew, we got the same angry/aggressive response as if we were in the wrong for speaking up. I don't know too many companies that stay in business by bullying and gaslighting their customers, but these guys are certainly trying!

We have had numerous problems in the past with the stucco holding up to the weather but this company used some newer products that we can have confidence in. The price was reasonable. The crew stayed till all the work was done and cleaned up well afterwards. They used painters drop clothes for all the work and also for the painting. Luis even stayed to do some repair work on our stucco mailbox structure and painted it free of charge. We have been given a 4 year warranty on the work!

We asked if the exterior of our home in the AZ room, which is not heated so it is not an interior room, was included in the quote. Jason never responded. 10/24/25 Jason sent over his Sherwin William rep so the rep and I could match the existing color of the home since we live in an HOA. I had the color names from the HOA Sherwin Williams book and showed it to rep. He confirmed those were the colors. Rep said he would give them to Jason. 10/27/25 Joseph and his crew showed up from B&M Painting to start our job. 10/29/25 Asked Jason to stop by our home to talk about the stucco walls in the Arizona room, the same one he never responded back about. I told him that we discussed it the day he walked around with me to write up a quote. Jason says I said no to painting the stucco in the AZ room/enclosed porch, which again has not heating and is not a sealed room. It even has vinyl window panes, not glass plus there are two thin aluminum doors. I told Jason I had told him about it. Jason starts to raise his voice and told us that we are trying to something for nothing; Jason said he has clients like us who try this all the time. Also told us that we are not contractors and he is. We are not painters but we are another type of contractor. Jason walked off and said he would NOT give us a quote. Because Jason walked off I could not show him that on the customer copy of the quote they provided me with was the email I sent with the quote asking about the exterior stucco in the AZ room. 10/30/25 Joseph and his crew were finishing our home and painted the front door the same color as the trim. Joseph said they did not have the front door color he asked if I had an old can of paint to match the front door. I told him that the Sherwin Williams rep had given the colors to Jason. He again asked me for the can of paint. I found the can of paint and he went to Sherwin Williams to match it. When Joseph's crew was done painting we walked the exterior together. Joseph tells me that the HOA might say something because the color of the house was not exact to the original color. I said, "Why?!" Joseph told me that the Sherwin Williams rep had dropped the ball so he had to take a strap off my house for the body color and another part near the a/c unit for the trim. So, if the HOA says our color is not the original color we will have to pay another company to paint it all again? We are done with B&M painting. Jason prides himself on communication but failed in our case, more than once.

I have used Covenant Tile & Stone for three major projects. The first was laying 24x24 solid…read morelimestone diagonally in our living and dining areas using the pieces with the best fossils in noticeable parts. We also had some mosaic thresholds in joying areas to the solid cherry floors. They installed the concrete board underpayment as well. That was in 2010. The second job was in 2017 with two bathroom and a Landry area remodel. The materials were mostly Italian porcelain including molding. A smoother texture porcelain that looks like limestone with fossils for shower area walls, and about 1 1/2" to 2" naturally flat smooth river stone for shower floors. The grout was all epoxy type which has held up very well. Eg it still looks brand new. They used the Schluter Systems Kerri / Ditra underpayment for this effort plus concrete for the showers. The sub flooring for the whole home is 3/4" marine grade plywood. Excellent system that basically provides a waterproof seal for all three rooms. THe third job just finish in October 2021 was a renovation of our fireplace. We selected a separate company for providing the wrought Iron door and screen. Covenant did all the demolition and installation of travertine stone stack for the wall and hearth face and used the limestone for the hearth top (left overs from the living and dining) job. The work came out outstanding. Ben Baker and his team have a definite proven record with us through over a decade of verity's remodeling jobs using three different types and applications of stone and porcelain. Mug said. GF blames concrete moisture (which they measured before initial application with no mention of issues), but no problems with neighbors who had concrete ground and prepped before application. I have reapproved paying GF another 2K for repair in March 2026, but am told they are too busy on another job to even schedule as of 7/2026. Good luck with your job if you hire GF.
