I learned of RE and Sons from a flyer in the mail, and it just so happened I was taking bids on a patio job at my home. Robert promptly contacted me, surveyed the work, immediately grasped what I wanted done, and turned around a quick and competitive bid. I was provided a detailed description of the process they'd use to prepare the underlayment, how a retaining wall would be established, and once I gave the go-ahead, the work commenced within a week. The work required some excavation of a good deal of soil, which would later be spread somewhere on the property, I really didn't have a good idea where, and there were a number of old concrete footings in the yard from some old ranch buildings. In any case, RE offered to pull the footings out, which the did, some QUITE LARGE chunks of concrete, and this alone was a great improvement. The patio itself was completed promptly, and turned out as good as I could possibly have expected. Some very nice and creative touches were included to accent existing landscaping, and I just couldn't be more pleased. And so finally, something I just noticed today, RE took much of the excess soil and filled in a declivity which I SHOULD have thought about as a place for the soil, but didn't, and I am SO GLAD the crew was so dedicated to doing the best job possible. Excellent work. The crew were all polite and engaging, a real treat to have around the property. So in closing, I've already asked RE for another bid on another project, that's how pleased I am. Normally I do this sort of work myself, as I'm pretty fussy about results, but thought I'd take a chance with a contractor this time around --I'm sure glad I chose RE and Sons Landscaping to get the job done! read more

Robert and his crew did a great job installing artificial turf and paver borders. Robert contacted me after I submitted a project request through HomeAdvisor and was at my home within a few days to go over my project. He provided an estimate within a day and his estimate was the most competitive of the 4 other companies I had out. Often times you get what you pay for, but not in this case. Robert was patient with me and came out to my house at least twice to bring samples of artificial turf and go over the pros and cons of each sample. Once a decision was made on the turf, Robert's crew began my project two weeks after they had wrapped up another job that they already had in progress. The job was completed within 2 days on Friday. I wasn't home to watch the crew work during the turf and border install as I was working as well, but my retired neighbors told me that once the crew started working they busted their butts and took minimal to no breaks. The excavated dirt from my front yard was transferred to my backyard to level out an area. The crew returned after the weekend on Monday to work the dirt and I had a chance to meet them. They were prompt, polite, and professional. Time will tell on how well they respond to any post completion problems should I have any, but I don't expect to. If the way they handled the install is any indication, I don't foresee any issues. I have a backyard landscaping project in the near future and plan on using R.E. and Sons Landscaping for that project as well. read more

We hired Corey from RE & Sons Landscaping for our small landscaping and irrigation job. Corey was very professional and a great listener. Answered all my questions regarding the job and came up with solutions for problems. His bid was very clear and even supplied me with a computer rendering of the new plant layout. When I met Corey at the nursery, he gave me time to make decisions and when I was interested in a plant, he answered all my questions about each plant so I could make up my mind. Corey's crew removed 3 large bushes and 2 trees and replaced with new plants and 1 tree. I had been very clear that I did not want any of the new plants to grow onto the sidewalk once mature. After the plants had already been planted, I felt 3 of them would be encroaching on the sidewalk when fully grown. Corey had his crew move the 3 pants back away from the sidewalk with no complaints or attitude. Did a wonderful job fixing our 3 irrigation problems too. Communication with Corey via text and emails was also very good. He replied in a promptly manner. The only thing Corey needs to work on is his schedule. We were double booked in his schedule when we were suppose to meet at the nursery to pick out plants, he was in Sedona on another job. We would definitely use Corey with RE & Sons Landscaping again. read more

RE & Sons Landscaping did a large landscaping project at our house which included raised bed gardens, pavers, drainage, gazebo installation and gravel. They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. The entire staff did a great job with bringing our vision to life. They were extremely flexible and easy to work with. Taylor and Armando and their team were fantastic doing the work. RE & Sons did a complete digitized blueprint and color visual design to help visualize our final design. The property was well cleaned up every night. They showed up on time every morning. I loved the customer service that everyone at RE and Sons gave us. We had a couple of changes to the project during the job, Ramon and Armando were welcoming of these additional changes and proactive in letting us know what was going on. As well, the crew knew what work was planned each day and executed it flawlessly. Ramon is an artist with pavers and takes his work seriously. I couldn't recommend RE and Sons Landscape more. We had in my opinion a very involved landscaping job. RE & Sons began by clearing three acres of brush and weeds as a result of the summer monsoons. Tony B. with my input, designed a preliminary vision of what would work with our newly completed home. It required over 200 tons of decorative stone, complimenting rip-rap, trees, plants, boulders, irrigation, sandstone walkways, pavers, synthetic grass and even a pergola over our spa. Robert and his team were professional and courteous throughout the process, keeping me involved with every step! It turned out beautiful and cannot wait till spring to add more to our property. We were very impressed with Taylor. She arrived on time and was extremely professional. She was very knowledgeable of their products and did not try and over sell. She was "real" and we appreciated that characteristic. She asked very good questions and was very patient with us as we made decisions. I was a newly purchased home buyer 6 years ago and needed my backyard landscaped prior to moving in due to my dog. I made a trip to Prescott and met with Robert. We agreed on the price and type of shrubs and aggregate and all and I left (driving 10 hrs. home.) I had a friend kind of overseeing in the meantime for me. I had added extra pavers and some plumbing for a cook area. Well, I got a call from my friend who had come by to check on the job. I couldn't believe the pics. that were sent to me. They were done, finished. Now this included installation of a large plot of synthetic grass too. I've seen other jobs since drag on by other companies for up to 3 weeks. I bought my house a year ago with a section of discolored pavers in the middle of the driveway. The only way to make the driveway more presentable was to remove the existing discolored pavers and put in a new 12' diameter circle ring. I got 3 prices to do the work and although R.E. and Sons was not the lowest price, I chose them because their follow up was very good. I dealt with Daniel and he always answered the phone or called me back right away. He scheduled the job and it was completed in a timely manner. We have a brand new house which had a totally vacant front and back yard. Robert helped with the design, of the front and back landscaping, which turned out beautifully. The design incorporated rock, trees, shrubs, a boulder wall, pavers, artificial turf, low voltage lighting, and rustic fencing around the vegetable garden area. We just bought a new home in Prescott Valley and ask numerous landscapers for a bid, Robert had a great design and assured us that the job could be finished in 5 days. As they were completing the pavers for our patio I realized I would like the patio to be a little bit bigger. Love the MAJOR redo on my whole backyard! First, I feel my house is secure and won't slide down the hillside over the next few years, with appropriate drainage built in throughout. Second, I have a set of safe stairs that go down each side of my walls/property! That gets me to make back trails! Third, I now have much more usable space to do some gardening in my fenced area. Fourth, your guys cleaned up everything, leaving my areas nicely graded! Fifth, your team continued to work despite semi-frozen ground and super cold and at times wet, mucky conditions. I hate having to leave a bad review, but I don't want others to experience the same problems and disappointments. The landscaping was poor quality and the best I can do is leave some photos so you can see for yourself. I have a tremendous amount of time and money to expend on fixing everything except the paving. The irrigation system has had multiple problems, the dg and abc has weeds popping up everywhere and the trees weren't planted properly. It hasn't even been a year. They don't care and they will ignore you after work is done. His fees are to high for the service he provided. They are dishonest. read more

They're amazing!! I had 1500 ft.² of pavers put in & on top of that I had 2000 ft.² of sod installed about two months ago. The pavers look awesome & the grass is great & green. They responded to all my questions & gave out great recommendations. Also they worked very diligently. Now I am currently using R.E. And Sons on a year-round maintenance!!
