Had an appointment scheduled and had a work meeting pop up a the time I was scheduled to be in the chair. I called the morning of, which I understand is not ideal, explained my issue and felt like I was being guilted into coming in. I asked them, what if I had a death in the family and had to cancel, the receptionist said, "Well that's different". How so? If I have to cancel, I have to cancel. It is not up to them to tell me what a satisfactory reason for rescheduling a dentist appointment is. My response was, "Work is more important than a dentist visit at the present time." Needless to say, I will not be going to this office any more. I understand cancellation policies and the need to have them, but a 48 hour window cancellation policy is ridiculous. I found this office to be only concerned about one thing...MONEY. How many times can we get you to come back and how many follow up appointments can we make. I have been going to the dentist for a long time and I have never had so many follow up visits. Normally things that can be done in one visit were broken up into 2, sometimes 3 visits. Beware it's a scam place, I lost a cap. Went in was sold everything but not a cap. After an hour + of a "comprehensive exam" where I was told after 3 examinations I needed so much work they couldn't add it up and I would have to return the following WEEK (this was a MONDAY 10/29/19 not a holiday!) I asked can I at least get a price on the cap? I was told ok tomorrow at 4.30??? I also needed to visit a oral surgeon they recommended before returning. So instead of going to THEIR oral surgeon on preprinted sheets which I was suppose to hand in when I made an appointment. Btw the next day they still couldn't tell me I called and the girl wouldn't get on the line to speak with me and I was told they close at 5pm sharp and that's it!! I said well what about my 4.30 slot? She said well she's with someone else she can't speak with you till next Monday lol (this is Tuesday) I went to another dentist "the apprehensive dentist" who had an oral surgeon on staff. They popped on a temporary cap immediately I pick up my permanent soon. Saw the oral surgeon got done what was needed. I had left pinnacle scared to death with a cancer scare now feel better with some tongue trama which teeth were shaven down. Tooth fixed Total cost that day $225 total with new cap $405 Told to me cost within 20 minutes NOT DAYS!!! Pinnacle is beautiful. You look over pumpkin fields with gorgeous assists and russian doctors. Apprehensive dentist a strip mall next to dollar general regular American doctor not the beautiful sales job that they set you up for thousands!! Pinnacle is a scam job. Hate these kind of places they give not only dentists but the medical field a bad name. You can spend 20k In here before you know it if you listen to them. read more

I have been going here for 2 years about maybe more. Its a nice office, nothing fancy but the staff does a good job and I like them. What bothers me is the office's policy which I was unaware of. I called up the day of my appointment and asked to reschedule stating that my son was really ill and I had to care for him. They rescheduled my apt. for a few days later. Then, to my surprise, I get a letter in the mail that I am being charged (doesn't state the amount) for a missed appointment. I wasn't a no show; I called and respectfully spoke to a staff member and rescheduled. To boot, when I called I was not informed that I would be charged else I would have tried to make other arrangements. I then asked how much and they said $50.00. She said they have a policy where if you miss twice you are charged and I missed an apt a year ago as well. I understand they have a policy but what I don't understand is why I wasn't informed when I called to reschedule. Instead I was blindsided by some mailed letter. Also, maybe work with me since I have been going there a while. Maybe think, well she has a family and children these could be new patients and future business. That being said I am not going there anymore. I won't give business to a place that charges their consistent patients $50 fees when they reschedule an apt for a sick family member. I don't like this policy.. there should be exceptions. I called and I reschedule... I had good reason. I'm pretty surprised with all these negative reviews because I've always had a great experience going here. I've been needing a lot of work done because I haven't had dental insurance for a couple years. Pinnacle has always been great since I started going. The staff is extremely nice and I feel that they are very caring. I love the text messages they send you to remind you of each appointment. And the head dentist there is so gentle with the novocaine (which I am normally very nervous with) and I barely even feel the needle. Going to their office is the first dental office I can actually say I felt great going to and I'm very happy i found them. read more

Terrible. Office manager is rude and uncooperative. Their office policy is 48 hour cancellation. I had the flu and called the day before (24 hours) and was told there was a $50 cancel fee. Supposedly I signed a form 6 months prior after they had me in the chair for over two hours stating I was aware of such fee. Perhaps I should have gone into the office with the flu? Unreal. Customer service is awful. Will NOT be going back. I feel sorry for the others that have to work under the office manager because they are all so kind. read more

Terrible. After a botched root canal (Pinnacle confirmed it had to be re-done), they displayed a complete lack of concern and urgency, in spite of my pain and discomfort. I absolutely do not trust this dentist with my teeth. I requested that they pay for another (highly qualified, reputable) dentist. They refused. The office manager told me "We're unable to do that." and "This is called a practice for a reason. We practice." , and "Customer satisfaction is our number one priority" - which, obviously, it's not. I understand that procedures have to be re-done- but their lack of empathy is extremely concerning. Dr.DeMarco couldn't even be bothered to have the decency to call me himself. read more
