Small procedure, face swelled, could not reach doctor for days, had to make an emergency visit elsewhere for medication, received these responses (texts shown in pictures), paid and 2 years later (1st time hearing of this), I owe $697.40. Terrible bed side manner, rude, condescending between doctor and staff and I had to go back then...because I already paid a decent amount! Oh and to solve everything... was put on antibiotics for nearly SIX WEEKS and had multiple side effects from this. I should have charged Sage for those bills! I should have never gone back and should have taken different measures! I had so many problems and was in pain for WEEKS and lost days of work! So many regrets! I guess this was the price tag to all my extra visits for the severe infection I had...finally receiving a call back after 2 days of trying and I am told to use salt water rinse in a text, wait again and call back if the infection persists! Better be some magic salt water! Can't believe that didn't correct it all, when I was given medication for 2 weeks three times in a row back to back to back! And the doctor had the nerve to ask me "What response was I looking for?" in a text, when he finally responded. And it continues...2 YEARS LATER WHEN I THOUGHT THIS WAS ALL BEHIND ME!!!! This experience has made me fearful of ever sitting in a dentist chair again. It was an absolute nightmare. Unbelievable! GOOD JOB DEBORAH on representing your business and always saying the same thing to each customer that reviews this place badly. If everyone keeps stating the same thing...it must be our own faults! You know nothing and you were not there. You know nothing of my timeline and about the horrendous events that occurred during my visit there. You can smell the awkwardness when I walked through the door to make sure I was happy after the suffering that I was caused there so I wouldn't take other measures against this place. Say whatever you want...you don't have the facts! And in my opinion, for others that may walk through that door, this is a productive dialogue! I have nothing to lose here! read more

I had a great experience at Sage Dental! The office was very nice and the staff were great! Everyone was so friendly with me and with each other so it instantly put me at ease. I got to ask all the questions I needed to without feeling rushed and I walked out with a plan for highest priority to least. The front desk was wonderful, as was the office manager/financial coordinator who broke everything down for me into phases and payments needed. For the first time, I left a doctor's office feeling well informed about the plan and the finances. I know it will take a little while from start to finish, but I'm not dreading going back. I am actually looking forward to my dentist visits now! read more

Bullied Into Unnecessary Servies NEVER AGAIN! Been going here for years, but today I figured out why there's always a different dentist at every visit. No moral, ethical person would work here. I went for a simple checkup and cleaning. Checkup was fine, but then was told needed a deep cleaning. For 60 years every hygenist has told me that I do an impeccable job of brushing and cleaning. Today, however, I needed a deep cleaning?!?! I refused and said I wanted a regular cleaning. I was told they wouldn't do a regular cleaning because the dentist recommended a deep cleaning. Never in my life has any medical professional ever DEMANDED I follow their recommendation, nor refused service because I didn't agree. I walked out the door and will NEVER return. I will also be reporting to my insurance company since I'm sure Sage will try to charge for the cleaning that didn't happen. read more

Was looking for a dentist that had a good price on full mouth dental implants I live in Delaware I chose Sage Dental of Wall Township because they were having a sale $20,000 for full mouth dental implants my first consultation with the wife's owner she acted like we were family after they got my $20,000 that all changed she didn't greet me she didn't even look at me I call that a two-face it took 5 months for the whole procedure to be done with keep in mind I'm driving two and a half hours up from Delaware so that's a 5-hour trip over a five-month period I must have made 12 trips all said and done they tell me that they're not permanent they don't mention that in the beginning you pay 20 grand you're hoping they're permanent you don't even think twice about it a week after I get home from my permanent not permanent full mouth dental implants of filling came out that hides the screws for the permanent teeth they wanted me to drive all the way up there 5-hour process for me just to fill it back in knowing it wouldn't keep I suggest you don't go to this place once you pay them they don't give a crap about you read more

I love this place, not only do they treat with the extra attention, they are honest. I've been with Dr. Israeli before he moved to his existing location. He worked on my mouth, 4 implants, all my front teeth are individually crowned, & a permanent bridge. This was sometime in 2012, as of today, no problems. I wish I listened to others that told me not to go here... From the beginning of March to the end of September, I was back and forth, spent hundreds of dollars, and still no answers, refunds, or cure for what I came to Dr. Avi Israeli for. I had a pain in and around a capped tooth. He first told me it was a gum infection and prescribed antibiotics. Then Covid lockdown happens. Two weeks after medicine runs out, still in pain, he refused to give me more antibiotics to ease the infection when I had no way of seeking in person help due to lockdown. He makes me pay $50 for a Skype call that lasted an hour while yelling at his screaming kids and his wife trying to sell me botox and chit chatting about her staff and how great they were. Total scam and waste of time, they claimed they couldn't treat me without seeing my gums meanwhile I had just seen them a few weeks prior for the same exact reason. I had to go to pay for additional doctors visit with my primary, just to get the medication I needed. Once things opened back up, I follow up with Israeli and his "educated guess" was that I needed a gum revision, a root canal, and then a cap replaced. Long story short, I go get surgery (which isn't cheap), doesn't heal right because my infection spreads, and now my gums look worse than they did before. I now need another surgery and revision. Israeli knew my infection hadn't gone away and he claimed that if I didn't get a gum graph that my gums would never heal. As an average person, why wouldn't I trust the "professional" dentist? After begging for some answers, in and out of dental visits, Israeli wants to do a root canal, I get it done, come back weeks later with even worse pain in my tooth and gums, and still the foul taste coming from the area still there. It's been months and when I finally had it with him, I told him that I felt like I was being jerked around and he proceeds to say "let me fix the bite, maybe that's it" and he started shaving my teeth down without me agreeing to it. I called him out for his lack of knowledge and I said "if you don't know what's wrong here, you need to be honest with me and refer me to someone who can actually help me because it's been months of this guessing game" That's when he shrugs and says "well maybe you have a tooth fracture." Another guess and he admitted he didn't know and wasn't even really sure. I had three other doctors tell me his root canal wasn't successful, there is no fracture, no one should have touched my gums while dealing with this issue on this tooth and now I need to back track. It's now October, thankfully I found new doctors to help and they seem like they actually know what their doing. This has been a devastating and painful dragged out issue for no reason and I don't think anyone should have to go through something like this. Not only is this physically taxing to deal with, but it has now become a finical burden seeking for answers. Side note: I really don't appreciate going there for pain and an infection in which Israeli was clearly incapable of handling, and having the wife ask if I want fillers every. single. time. They ask if I have insurance too so you can get away with charging it as a dental procedure. I highly suggest if you are searching for a dentist, DO NOT trust this practice. They clearly rip people off as I've over heard other unhappy patients being charged for things they never agreed to. Instead of trying to help you, they're more concerned about their facial injections than your dental health. read more

Just look at his smug $hit-eating grin. Don't trust a dentist that doesn't smile (with teeth showing) in his pic. Dr. Israeli screwed me over, literally. He tortured me by placing implants with only novacaine/laughing gas. I had to tell him I'm not a piece of furniture, I can feel that, OUCH! He asked me if I had been sexually assaulted when I went into fetal position after laughing gas was administered. WTF? This quack convinced me to get 10 mini-implants instead of 4 standard because I had a small jaw and they would provide more stability. I know now that this was a lie & purely money motivated, since each screw is $1000. He told me just use a waterpik & never remove them to clean the snap-on prosthetic, which I informed him was unsanitary & was used to soaking dentures at night, allowing the gums to breathe. He also never provided me with new mini rubberands that I requested to keep the grip secure. Even after losing one, He never informed me the other 9 implants never bonded with the bone after 3 YEARS! So they were just floating in my gums, causing all kinds of infection. I only found this out recently when I moved from NJ to NC & found an oral surgeon who removed this hot mess & did the 4 screws properly under the gumline. Going to another dentist this morning to complete the last phase & get a new prosthetic. Hope this helps someone avoid this nightmare! read more

STAY AWAY. This dental office is UNETHICAL. I specifically went to this dental office because they are listed as accepting my dental plan. They confirmed this when I made my apt. They then proceeded to charge me OVER DOUBLE the plan rates. When I questioned this I was told the "hygienist" is not part of their office and chooses not to accept the plan. When I asked why I wasn't told this when I made the apt. and asked about the plan, the office manager became EXTREMELY rude. I asked to speak to the Dentist and she said absolutely not and then she hung up on me. What kind of office manager does that??? It is sad and shocking that any dental office would be so DECEITFUL just to get business in the door. And then offer such TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Again, my advice STAY AWAY. read more

I had bad teeth most of my life. After having my kids, my teeth were failing me. I didn't have the greatest work done by a prior dentist office. My friend told me about sage dental. My friend and her mother love them I thought I would give them a try. We should save teeth first but my teeth gave up on me a long time ago. My teeth failed me! Dr isarelli understood what I was going through with efforts of saving my teeth. I had so many infections in my teeth. The pain was awful! I almost felt like crying when he understood what I should do rather then saving them. The infections weren't going away. I lived on amoxicillin for a long time. I went to him a few times that year with pain in my teeth. Finally , I had 9 teeth pulled. I had dental implants and bone Graft done. I was very nervous since it was my front teeth. All the staff was so good to me. Christina was very kind and called me the next day to see how I was feeling. I was wearing a partial denture for few months. Funny story I threw the denture down the toilet from a virus I think I had. I called dr Israeli and he called me back. My husband ended up getting it in the crawl space pipes. I was a mess. Most people hate going to the dentist. I was one of those people but I have to say Sage dental makes dental care so comfortable. From the front desk, to your way out to book your next appointment the process is always easy. Christine at the front is a doll and very accommodating. Dr. Israeli and his hygienists are informative, understanding, and gental. I recently had extensive work done and cannot imagine having going anywhere else. I should have realized when my first appointment was 3 hours late that I should go elsewhere. I went ahead and had 2 implants put in the upper left side of my mouth. One of the implants went into my sinus by 6mm. 4 sinus surgeries later, more bone graft (since there wasn't enough in the first place), new implants and $10,000 out of pocket things are getting better. i cant say enough good things about this office. i am a giant baby in the dentist. they understand my anxiety and do everything to explain whats going on. They are always gentle and kind. they are very accomodating with appointments and there is rarely a wait. i never have a problem getting in on short notice. then entire staff is friendly and nice..which is rare in dentist offices ive visited in the past. read more
