Slithering Through Quarantine workshop with Angel!

Platinum Fitness is a great place for all your pole and other fitness needs! There are a variety of different classes to suit what your interests and goals are! There are multi-level pole classes, choreo/flow classes, hip hop, yoga/flexibility, climbing/inverting/conditioning, and basework. They also offer open gym, privates and semi-privates, virtual classes, and my favorite: personal studio rental. The personal studio rental is a great way for you to come in and get some practice, whether alone or with 2-3 other friends! They are also available at numerous times of the day so you can always find a time that can work your schedule. I usually enjoy the late night slots. Platinum is very clean and spacious. They have 6 14-feet poles, a huge changing/storage area with plenty of cubbies, a bathroom that can accommodate 2 people, and a comfortable lobby area to have a seat and relax while waiting for your class. All the instructors are amazing as well! They are very friendly and are always willing to help in order to see you succeed! They implement numerous safety measures to ensure everyone is safe and healthy. The owners De Anne and Kristen are also so friendly and helpful. They also instruct classes, which I think is important to help build rapport with their students! I always enjoy coming to Platinum and I know you will too!

    Such a beautiful space

As a student I've had all good experiences here. The instructors that I tend to see more regularly due to my personal schedule are Kassidy, Laura, Ari, Jen, Dani, Amanda. But I can't stress enough that all instructors and classes have something to offer so it's best to try them all. It's such a positive environment and non intimidating dynamic. Instructors are very welcoming and give modifications. Each instructor has their own teaching style and own warm up... they get you where you need to be conditioning wise. I suggest bringing water and bring a yoga mat. Ask questions and have fun! As a student who is more on the experienced beginner/intermediate level this is a great studio to level up. Also as a student looking into competing I find this studio an ideal space in what it has to offer class/instructor wise. I've experienced other studios and this one is by far the most pristine in cleanliness which is much appreciated because I do have very sensitive skin and break out easily. Parking is plentiful and it's very easy to find. Packages and memberships are great options if you're wanting more than just a few classes! Def my favorite studio.

Just took an intro Pilates class here this morning with Aaliyah and loved it! If you're new to…read morereformer Pilates or want a class that's more focused on form and stretch, this is for you. They do fill up the entire class so the instructor isn't demonstrating how to do the moves, but she does walk around and correct form/help you transition. I appreciated this class was so much more focused on making sure you nail the basics because too many trendy studios try to "push" students do harder moves than their core is ready for. I already weight lift so I like Pilates to help me recover and practice good form (especially because I'm prone to not engage my core enough when I lift!). I'm sure their non beginner class is more challenging, but this was a perfect, restorative Saturday morning work out. I also liked the intro course because there were students from all age groups and no pretentious vibe that I've had at other studios where students judge if you're in aesthetic clothes or not (people ranged from cute fits to comfy gym clothes so you can totally do both here). Looking forward to coming back whenever I need a good recovery stretch and to perfect my core strength!

I like their Reformer classes that uses the machines like Pilates. It is difficult if you haven't…read moredone Pilates but the instructor tells how the correct form. It really engages the whole body and working one muscle group. For Reformer: bring grip socks or else you'll have to buy it from the studio. I also took a yoga class. You can grab 2 yoga mats to make it more cushioned. The class itself was ok, I'm new to yoga so some of the exercises were hard esp holding the position with your abs. For Yoga: don't need to bring anything . They provide yoga mats What kept bothering me was the amount of ants on the ground near where I was. It was super bothersome. I couldn't even concentrate on the class. Even though I killed some ants, there were still more crawling on my mat and around my area. I told the instructor who said she'll let the owner know. I hope the owner cleans the studio. Parking is around the building and free parking. The location of the entrance of the building is on the street side so you'll have to walk to the street side to enter the place.

Cara's studio is perfect for beginners and experienced yogis alike. The boutique setting allows…read moreher to give you a more personalized experience. I've tried bigger chain yoga studios and large classes. I never knew if I was doing anything correct or making progress. Cara gives instant feedback and encouragement throughout her classes and workshops. What I love most about her classes is how she challenges you, but doesn't push you (if that makes sense?) She will challenge you to try new things and connect with your body, but doesn't judge or make you feel bad if your mind/body isn't ready. My other favorite aspect of Cara's classes is the strength she helps you build. There is always a purpose to her flows. This has helped me improve on poses/movements I formally thought impossible. Cara offers regular class, workshops, private trainings, outdoor yoga (summer time) and occasionally partners with local business for fun yoga outings. You should definitely check her out, she is super easy to talk to, and is caring and compassionate towards all who enter her space :)

I am so glad I found Cara Fraser and her great little studio. I do yoga all over but one thing you…read moredon't really get from the big classes is individual attention or a break down of particular poses so I was happy when I found her intimate studio with personal attention. She offers affordable workshops that focus on pose series (we are on arm balancing) and building blocks (hello, do you know how often I wondered if I was actually doing a pose correctly?). Well, she breaks them down to their basics and walks you through them so you feel more confident in doing them. Cara has a casual, relaxed and welcoming vibe. She doesn't take things too seriously and had a great sense of humor. She really knows her stuff and I am learning so much. Check out her workshops, you won't be sorry.
