Buyinng from them might be a new car for the consumer, but their inventory is above average on both price value and the vehicle condition. I would describe thier assortment of inventory clearly above middle pricepoints to the top price autos to be found for previously owned vehicles. Their campus is a former Chevrolet dealer. They have a froggy voice sales guy over there that's extremely rude! The car that I was interested in, the Craigslist's ad for it was misleading. I questioned the guy on what the ad stated that the vehicle came equiped w/ from the factory. Which it didn't actually have those features. I believe it's done on purpose to OVER PRICE their vehicles and to phish people in! I suggest doing your homework on the vehicles that they offer if you're interested. The customer service here is TRASH!!! My car over heated across the street from this place last Monday. I walked over asking for assistance in the service department. I met Nick the service manager, ended leaving the car for repairs because I was told the thermostat needed to be replaced. My car was there for 3 days before being repaired ,I called /text daily for updates only to get the run around. I finally picked the car up last Thursday night only for it to over heat and all of the fluids to run out of the car the very next day! I tried calling Nick ,who instructed me to add water to the reservoir. Didn't help whatsoever ended having to get my car towed home because I was ghosted by the service manager. I ended up calling on Monday and, spoke with KC the sales manager and, got the run around again! After hours of trying to get a resolution, Nick sends his mechanic out to my place to fix the issue. My car still isn't fixed!! I was told there's a special hose that had to be ordered and, would not be in til today!! You can imagine my frustration with this entire process!! They had absolutely no care about what I had been through!! Finally I after voicing my frustration and, concerns about being taken advantage of because I'm a female. Nick sent me a text message stating that since I'm so unhappy with their services they wouldn't repair my car after they were paid!!! They were trying to be nice and, do me a favor!!! Straight BS is all you hear when talking with them. Hubby traded in his car and it's been 2 whole months already and they haven't paid off his old car he traded in. Bank keeps calling for payments and every time hubby contacts dealer they use the same line ... "sorry it will be done tomorrow" or "we can't get through to the bank" -- like how tf? Kind of a kind Rant....I recently drove from Denver to Martinez to see friends and family. Almost as soon a I got here, my power steering went out and I took my car to Platinum Motors on Alhambra Ave. for the worst auto repair experience of my life. Not only did they mis-diagnose the issue, they took over three weeks to get the car back to me. And they lied to me, multiple times, in the process. That wouldn't be terrible if there hadn't been 3 notifications during that time that I could pick it up the 'next day', 'Later today', 'five o'clock tomorrow' at an identified time. Twice I was on my way to pick it up before learning that it wasn't ready after all. 'We want to do an alignment and provide a courtesy wash.' 'The part didn't actually come in' 'we want to do another alignment', 'well, it actually really isn't done.. we didn't get a part'... the excuses made little sense and not using them until I'm on my way over, actually there, on their advisement, struck me as some of the most unconscious 'customer service' I've ever seen. After I finally got to pick it, it drove okay for a couple hundred miles and failed on me while driving back to Denver, through the Sierras, and, yes, it was dangerous and scary. I got back to Denver and had it fixed properly. I called the owner, Boris (after many unanswered calls from Nick, the service manager. It took a few calls to reach Boris, but, once i got him on the line, he sounded reasonable and felt, yes, 'they should do something for me about it... we need to make that right'. Bear in mind that the service order called for, in addition to the power steering repair, an oil change and they 'wanted to give' a courtesy wash and detail, neither of which was my purpose. I got the car back and change oil light was on and the interior clearly not cleaned, layer of dust on the dashboard etc. It was a month ago that I finally reached Boris and he promised me we'd work together to my satisfaction, to 'make it right'. I've been leaving messages for that month since and Boris seems intent to not call me back and make it right a he has yet to return my call. $1600 and nearly a month to get my car back and it wasn't fixed. He's clearly not going to make it right so i thought I'd put out the word about my experience.... if you need auto repair, friends don't let friends go to Platinum Motors. As you can tell by the owner poor response just goes to prove what con artists they are. Blamming buyers remose, only remose I had was buying my dream car from a trash dealership. Also, owner just proved what liars they are saying that the CEL was due to a loose gas cap...these cars don't have gas caps. They have been investigated before and even now been audited by the DMV don't let these positive reviews fool you. Also already been told that the items put on sales contract, a legal contract, will not be repaired/replaced unless negative review is taken down. Goes to show you what type of dealership they are but that's OK as refusing to uphold items put on contract is now even more so a legal matter thus will now be suing. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. Bought a 15' X5M and the car broke down 2 days later. Threw a check engine light, went into limp mode. Drove back to the dealership only to be turned away. Offered to diagnose the car at my expense and if they found a problem platinum offered repairs at my cost. I wish the company would stand behind their morals of doing business and do the right thing. I received an amazing price on a used Shelby GT500. They negotiated vigorously on my behalf to get me the best loan rate through the bank. These people don't know how to do business. They're so unprofessional. I bought my Malibu October 2021 with the right mirror broken. I was promised in writing to have my car buffed and mirror fixed. I was driving around with a mirror being held up by duct tape until June 27 2022 They ended up fixing my mirror bc I contacted them so many times after being left waiting with no explanation. always had excuses. I left a bad review in February because they weren't answering my calls once they seen the review DONALD called and threatened me to remove my review or I wouldn't be helped , so I did. June 27 2022 they put the wrong mirror and I asked to get the correct one bc it didn't match the left mirror and Donald said okay I'll get back to you when it arrives, (Donald never got back to me )every time I called they were out the building on break or something. I continued to call to ask when I could get my mirror replaced and Donald said that they wouldn't do it since they're business is closed ? I called them first before we drove to their facility making sure the car still available after we check out the CarGurus. At first they were so nice and helpful the time we show up. After they let us test drive the car that we like Porsche Panamera. Me and my wife thought about it if we should get it or keep shopping. So, we made an offer they though I was a rookie buying a car, they come back with ridiculous number. So I pulled up my phone calculating the car would cost after all. Almost double after paid off. told them never mind. Here's the topical manager explaining this & that. I finally threw another number for them how much I'm willing to pay the car for. They took my offer everything when okay and my wife notice something in the car they have good size of scratches. We have addressed this issue with the Manager saying he will fix the car after we take home just call them for service appointment. Almost 3 months now no return phone call not even my plate showing up in my house. I thought this place was better than other car dealership. Promise a shit load of crap nothing delivered. This dealership is the worst one I've had to deal with. And I didn't even buy a car from them it was my girlfriend that did. I wasn't there during the purchase but they convinced her to buy a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu for over 20,000$ with around 40,000 miles when that car isn't even worth 10,000. They took advantage of the fact that she was 18 and didn't know about purchasing vehicles. The car had many dings and scratches that look like it were attempted by a 5 year old to fix and they claimed they would fix that. There was also a broken mirror they said they would replace. After literally more then 100 calls they finally give us a mirror which was the wrong size of course. So we keep calling through out months and they kept giving us the run around and even once said that someone might have stolen it from them when delivered. So months go by and my girlfriend decided to write a review and it wasn't a positive one so they threatened her to delete it or they won't fix the mirror and we have screenshots of the messages for proof. So she deleted the review and when we call again for the mirror they say, " It's been over a year we're not gonna do it anymore". THAT IS INSANE. We called back and forth and they kept pushing it back saying they will get it and they NEVER DID. All in all the car already is broken down after well taking care of it and we traded it in to a respectable dealership that took care of all of our needs and even replaced and fixed a few things and made sure we were happy WITHIN A FEW DAYS. These people could get us a mirror in a YEAR and they responded to her review basically saying ITS HER FAULT we didn't come. I came over there myself for her when they had the mission location and they guy there was so rude and I was like you have to go to MARTINEZ. Their office was so messy and people were so rude. They only seem to be polite when the money is in their face. He also went behind my girlfriends back and made congratulations post on instagram saying "congratulations Mexican family" when their not even Mexican. I'm not insinuating that they're racist but that was a wrong move as well. All in all if I was there with her before all this when purchasing the car I would've asked her to leave this lot and go somewhere else. I bought a beautiful BMW for myself as well at luxury motors and they took way better care of us. They replaced my brakes and a vent in the interior even painted a key mark in the paint professionally in a week. These guys can't even get a mirror in a year lol what a joke. All I want is some compensation for all this wrong. I wish we could get our money back from the car. Be careful when purchasing with these guys. Just really unsatisfied.
