So me and I my boyfriend were just checking out the dealerships around Mission Blvd. Platinum motors was the last dealership we went too that day. And the only reason we actually went here was to check out the M6 they had. Then we started to look around more and the General Manager Boris came up to us. He started showing us some interesting cars and when he found out how much money I was paying for my car he was shocked and was willing to see if I wanted to look into other cars. Then I told Boris if we could just play with number but not run our credit and he definitely worked with us. At first he checked the numbers for a Chrysler300 but it was my boyfriend that wanted that so now Boris ran the number for the Cadillac ctsv. I told him I was paying around $600 for my current car and when he found that out he was shocked. We started looking into the cadillac and then Boris just gave us the keys and some gas money and we took it for a ride just me and boyfriend which also shocked me. Anyways, fast forward to application process, I was thinking of actually trading in my dodge challenger, unfortunately my car got hit and run the night before that's why I wanted to let go of my car already. I also didn't want to get it fixed anymore because that was my 3rd accident in that car. So now I can honestly say that this was probably the most easiest car buying process I ever had to do. We came in a little before 7 and got out of there at around 9ish. Usually I would spend 5 to 6 hours at a dealership but this was pretty efficient and fast. Boris was able to get me my Cadillac CTS-V 2011. I am definitely in love with this car. I never taught in my life that I would own a car as fast as this as luxurious as this and as amazing as this one. I did bring it up a couple of things to Boris but it wasnt anything my boyfriend couldn't fix. Talk about unprofessional. Donald is the most unprofessional salesman I have ever met in my life. First off I drove all the way to the dealership to see a car that they had listed as a premier and when I get there it was definitely not that. Second, Donald was all over the place and more worried about making a deal then pulling out the car for a test drive. Long story short I ended up buying the car after I made them fix all the things I found broken after finally coming back for a test drive. After showing up on Day2 to pick up the car, it still hadn't been detailed smh. I was told they would deliver the car by a certain time 2 days later. I call at that specific time and Donalds ass is still there at the dealership. After spending $21,000 I would expect you to have my car where its supposed to be on time. But no he tells me he was busy with another "customer", just like he was busy with some "crazy lady" when I went to see the car the first time. Amazing I am at a loss for words at the treatment I allowed myself to endure while coughing up a ton of MY money. Lesson learned... At 8:30pm decides to show up with my car, after joy riding, but he did not come alone. He showed up with ALL his kids in the car eating fast food. YES HIS KIDS! His kids had food all over the car. I had to curse him out, enough was enough. Why didn't they get in the car He then tells me the car has no speakers, so he stole the speakers out the car and sold it with no fucking speakers in the back! I'm livid at this point I finally get a hold of the Owner and he tells me that he will send me vouchers for a detail and that he would replace my speakers. The next day this name sends me text messages and pictures of himself in a car accident. How professional. Now he is not answering my phone calls. My story begins with my undying need to own a 96 impala SS!!! I had been looking long and hard for the cruiser/daily driver of my dreams! I was coming up with blanks every where I looked. From salvage title to look a like caprices to 200k over priced junk yard pieces. I was honestly ready to give up. I decided to expand my search to include the SF Bay Area since I am originally from there and within days of looking I stumbled onto Platinum Motorsports in San Leandro. I called in hoping they still had the 96 impala SS and spoke to Boris. After talking for a while (which most dealers don't do) and Boris emailing me the carfax report I decided to put down a deposit on the car and headed down to SF. Boris was even nice enough to pick me up from Oakland Airport when I flew in on the vehicle itself. Killed two birds with one stone and allowed me to test drive the car back to his lot. I recently purchased a car for here. I received decent service until the manager came. I don't remember his name but he made the situation immediately uncomfortable. He seemed bothered to even complete the paperwork and made me do all of the work getting the information needed form my loan agent to himself. Besides the 4 hours I spent as he took his time focusing on everything else besides my sale. When I drove off with the car, no more than 2 DAYS later the check engine light comes on. It turns out this place decided to clear the system by cycling the battery so that the check engine light would stay off long enough to buy it. I know this because when I took it in to the dealer to get repairs (so far amounting to more than $500.00) they informed me that the errors have been on the computer before. Of course the give you the car to test drive with the gas on empty so that you cant actually test the car out. I learned my lesson and will never purchase anything from this company. DO NOT trust these guys. I hope the better business bureau investigates their sales practices. read more
