Jason arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and walked through the area. He provided an itemized estimate of $2920 as we walked through the area. As I had not received any additional estimates yet, I did not agree to do the job at that time. The next day I received an estimate for $3500. When I called to discuss he indicated that the price of sod went up to $600 per pallet. Since I only needed 2 pallets and the price the day before was $1100, or $550 per pallet. I questioned this. I could understand the price going up $100, but not $570.
