Staff is friendly, and there are some unique items. Figure-8 scarves, purses, hair accessories, even some evening wear, and much of the store is reasonably-priced. Moto-bike leather jackets are trendy now and I noticed prices are lower than other stores. You have to check this store out.

They have a nice selection of clothes, that's the majority of the store. You will be able to find plenty of activewear like yoga pieces. The shoe selection was pretty good too, men's less options. There's a dog section with treats, beds, bowls, things like that. Another corner of the store has smaller sections for camping, fishing, hiking, general exercise stuff like weights. I didn't see in stock kayaks like the commercial shows. There's a small section with more natural types of body care items and snacks. The selection online is better and can be shipped to the store for free which is nice. I'd stop by again if I was in the area.

If your looking for a store to purchase good quality items for a bargain such as: clothing. shoes, hand bags, accesories, etc, Plato's Closet is the place to be. The store is in a very good and easy to find location. The employees there are very friendly and helpful with your shopping needs. Everything in the store for the most part is neat and in order and items are easy to find. I think the pricing on the items are very reasonable, especially on some new items that haven't even been used and original tags still intact. For those of you who are frequent shoppers or become one get the awesome benefits of their punch card. The discount after so many purchases is very reasonable and awesome to use on your next shopping visit. If you have them on your facebook page or emailing list, you do get news on their upcoming promotions, which I enjoy because I don't like missing out on their great deals. Overall, I prefer this location compared to the Greenfield location. They have a greater and better selection in male and female items. I have never had a bad experience at this location and I have never left out of there without making a purchase. This is one of my go to stores and will continue to shop there as long as they are in business. Thank you Plato's Closet! read more

If you have never been to Plato's closet you are definitely missing out! Between the ridiculously low affordable prices and the incredible quality of the quality and it is hard to find anything close to negative to say Plato's Closet. I have been a regular customer for years and have never been disappointed. I have sold many times and made a nice chunk of change also purchased many times and it found things that are now my favorite pieces of my wardrobe. And on top of all of that I get discounts and coupons all the time. I don't need any incentive to go there to shop but that is definitely an extra perk they offer. Im someone who only shops second hand because of the tremendous impact the fashion industry has on climate change. my favorite thing about Platos is the quality of their resale items. Goodwill, St Vinnie's, and online resale aps have all occasionally been disappointing on this front, but never Plato's. Their shoes and handbags are my personal favorite. They also carry a ton of name brands at what would be like 80% off store price. Plato's keeps me coming back! read more

I love shopping here! The store is organized and each section is organized by color so it's really easy match up an outfit. They're always rocking out to great music and it's always a good time shopping in the store. I see from others reviews that they are "picky" when you sell, but I personally like that they are! I've been shopping at Plato's for years now and I Love the store! It is very organized and easy to shop, plus I've had really good customer service at this location. Also works pretty good for selling too, they are select on what they buy in, but they always have good reasons for what they do give back to me and the pay out is really fair. I think I got about $35 last time I sold but I've seen other people in line with nicer brands getting $50+ read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I very rarely shop anywhere besides Plato's anymore. If you look frequently and thorough enough, you can find exactly what you are looking for, or maybe something you weren't looking for. Prices are relatively low. Lower than retail for the same products at the brand stores. Also, the quality is spot on- I don't think I have found something that is unwearable, unlike Goodwill and other thrift shops. read more

Love this place. I always find a good deal on designer jeans and cute tops. In the summer they have a huge selection of tanks and shorts too. It's really clean and organized, you can hardly tell it's a resale shop. It's by far the best resale clothing in all of Milwaukee. read more

The store itself is styled like a boutique and is a long hallway with different rooms focused on different clients (ie. children's section, men's section, active etc). I did feel like many of the women's clothes were geared towards a more mature crowd, but I appreciated the fitting room to try everything on. Unfortunatley, the things I loved were probably meant for juniors/teenagers and were just a tad too small for me *cries* Nevertheless, I found some really great (like new conditioned) random things like a Superman BBQ Apron (perfect for the summer of Superman), and Michael Kors Mary Jane Pumps that will work perfectly for my Wicked outfit that I'm putting together. I didn't know at the time, but I suspect because I visited during the week of July 4th that everything in store was 50% off, which almost felt like highway robbery since everything was already very inexpensive already! My Mary Janes were $10 and thus $4.50 and the Superman Apron came out to $2.50. This is a great clean, organized and well priced charity shop that I'd love to support again on a return visit. Enjoy!

The parking lot has space for sooo many more cars and the donation doors are now under a canopy. Also, there is less of a likelihood of mowing down a shopper when pulling away from the donation area. I love to score books ($1.49 for a hardcover!), movies and cds when I thrift. The selection of these items seems to have really decreased at this new location while the amount of clothing seems to have quadrupled, at least. The amounts of decorations, furniture and household goods seems to have stayed the same. I saw workers in just about every department straightening up and, overall, the store was clean and bright. I was looking for one thing, that is all things or anything by that particular brand. After going through all the offerings and not finding any, I was asked if I was looking for anything specific. Turns out that brand is no longer carried by Omen. Whilst service was being offered, my friend found a top she thought would be cute for me. To the dressing room I went. Friends, this is more than a dressing room at Omen. I could have uploaded so many photos. Its a room unto itself. I had not set out to take selfies in a dressing room when I left my home that morning for a cross state shopping adventure. But the Omen dressing room demands that you take and post! It is the best dressing room I have ever been in and could ever be in. This place gets how to advertise. In the end I left with that shirt. Already had compliments on it just from sharing that dressing room selfie on my Insta. I am certain when I wear it out and about in 2025 I will get alot of positive feedback.
