I don't care that it looks old because it's low like my old coffee table and my cat might like this one, hats the new taller one
Steven T.

I recently replaced my years old coffee table with a modern looking coffee table that my cat just hates because it's taller with a slippery finish and she just never warmed up to it after a month now. She would always lay on the old one next to me and now she doesn't anymore. I even cut the legs down 2-1/2 inches to get it lower like the last one and nothing. I spent today looking at furniture stores and second hand stores, I found nothing that was remotely similar to my last coffee so I called it a day and remembered this place is next to Walmart so I stopped to look. After looking around I saw an antique looking low wood coffee table with nice carved legs and a leather insert on top, this is exactly what I'm looking for. $40 red tag was on it and I thought that that's not bad if she doesn't like it, the red tag means 50% off and I got it for $20 which was a great surprise. I think this one will work because she is back to sitting on the table again as I write this review, great because this was the last table I was getting her. Overall I don't usually shop at thrift stores but I needed an old school low coffee table that new furniture stores don't offer today and this place had what I was driving all over looking for.

Holy cow! This place is MUCH bigger than I expected. It's clean, bright, ORGANIZED!!!!! Each section is clearly defined, ie.: housewares, clothing, books/movies/music, furniture. There isn't currently a whole lot in the store except for the usual, dishes and clothes, but I found it a worthwhile stop, anyway. The prices are right in line with where they should be on most items, and better than expected on the rest. The workers are very friendly, too. P.S. There is bagged popcorn/kettle corn for sale and the aroma permeates the store. Don't shop on an empty stomach! 40/2015

I am so glad that they take in a variety of items. I donate clothes, books, etc. They even pick up your furniture if needed.

Clean, clean, clean is what I really admired about this store. Good deals can be found and had, if you just look.

They might as well name this place Disneyland because it is equally as magical and is the greatest place on earth.

Can I drop off clothing for resale?

This isn't a consignment shop. SVD will keep all profits. You can donate clothing and other household items like at a Goodwill.

I wouldn't consider this a thrifting store in the terms of what thrifting means today. When you…read morethink thrift you think consignment/resale/saving the landfill/vintage finds. We walked right in and out of this store. It's more like a section that feels like a rummage sale very small area (and that would be the "thrift" section) and the rest of the store is more like a bargain store. New in the box items at low value. Like items were purchased in bulk from pallets or via some other option. Which that's fine but it's not a proper advertising to put this in the same category as all the other thrift stores. Since the expectation was thrift and not bargain buys (hobo, big lots, family dollar) the rating is based on the category of that makes sense. Now if it was noted as a standard store or bargain/discount space I'd add one star based on what I saw. The store was also very dimly lit and no one greeted us/saw no staff so that added to a quick in and out visit!

Walking into this place is like walking into your grandma's house thats soo cluttered with things…read moreeverywhere and is completely disorganized. I love to thrift but when every shelf and surface is overflowing with things, mostly thrown onto it with no type of order or grouping, I can easily get over stimulated. I'm sure there are great finds but I couldnt even get myself to look. I would say come if you are good at rifling thru piles of things
