Plato's closet is a franchise that specializes in selling and purchasing gently used name brand clothing, accessories for teens and adult clothing for those in their 20's and 30's. The first Plato's Closet opened in Columbus, OH in 1998. They're owned by Winmark which also owns Once upon a Child, Play it Again Sports. This location is off of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs near Abernathy Rd intersection. It's located in the shopping center as Publix. Parking can be a challenge on the weekends as the shopping center shares the parking lot with at least 30 businesses. The store itself is a decent size. I'm estimating about 2500 sq.ft. When I was there the place was packed with items but everything seems very well organized and neat. They sell everything from boots to men's polo shirts to scarves and purses. Most of the items looked like they were in good conditions. I think for the items that they sell the prices are fair. Not great but fair. Even though I didn't buy anything it was pretty fun to come in and browse. 1117th review 1/5/2018 37th for 2018

I tried these classes. I want to sign up for one class per week only since the classes are always booked.

To buy...maybe. To sell, no way. Don't waste your time. Dimes on dollars if they even accept your stuff, which is a roll of the dice.

Dirty store, staff was very rude and clueless. Not to mention they don't buy things of value so DO NOT bring things here.

Platos can afford to sell gently used articles of clothing such as BCBG, or Ann Taylor for $10 because they are only paying a few dollars per piece.

I have been a consumer of Resale Therapy for a few years now and trust me, this is one of the classiest boutique/ consignment stores in Georgia. Beth (the owner) is one of the most kind, loving, professional people I have ever met. She carries the latest high end fashions at the most reasonable prices you could ever ask for. I make it my business to come in at least once a week and just buy something, I just can't help myself. I don't like to go out places and see people in the same thing that I am wearing. That is the thing I love most about Resale Therapy, I can buy my church clothes there, my evening wear, or simply a night on the town with the ladies, or my sweetheart. She is an all purpose, one stop shop!!! I do the majority of my shopping here, and I gladly tell the world about BETH at RESALE THERAPY (as long as they don't wear my size lol, don't want them getting all my good stuff). There have been times that I was in the store and other desigers come in to drop off their designs and pick up their checks, and they always seem more than satified. I am confident in recommending anyone to Resale Therapy, go on in, have a blast, and save some cash!!!!!! A. Booker

It took over 2 weeks, and when I got it home the bobbin was still hanging up and in addition, the feed dogs wouldn't raise/lower! Called them, they said the service "is under warranty" but that they can't take it in for at least a week. ARGH! It cost $119, the tech is supposed to be Pfaff-certified, but right now I am so frustrated I could bite! But I'll take it in next week and see what happens. By the way, the ladies who work there could not be nicer - I have no beef with them, just the technician/repair on my machine. Expensive, slow, and added a problem without fixing the old problem! I'll write back with the resolution once I see what happens.

The store has 2 floors and an eclectic array of 1920's-1990's vintage. I was surprised at the amount of massive, complete china sets and complete porcelain figure sets. I found a particular piece I've NEVER seen before and they had the ENTIRE set. The prices were below average for the area and they had a major sale going on while I was there, which was awesome! Both the owner and the cashier were beyond helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed my time in this store and they were so appreciative for my business.
