(The slender blonde woman w/ glasses was a sweetheart who even made a recommendation on where I could find my desired furniture piece.) The sign beside busy Land O'Lakes Blvd reads "Famous Treasures," but this vintage store is called Shabby Shack. The female owner opened it in mid 2015, if I'm not mistaken. Lots of vintage items & antiques here-- each room is filled w/ history. Not as many furniture pieces as I generally like to see, but definitely some quality pieces. Unfortunately, I didn't take pics of inside this house (turned into an antique shoppe). PRICES here are the most REASONABLE I've seen pretty much anywhere (& I antique browse all over the state). I picked up a very heavy mid century "looking" (non antique) starburst side table that I can paint white to use w/ my 1960's refinished patio chair set. I was charged just $5. Not too "shabby"-- lol. Will definitely return whenever I'm in the area!

I only came across it through a yelp search. Me and the daughter headed out to visit the place and it's actually larger than what it looks like from the outside. Things are kind of all over the place with no real organization. And it's hard to get to certain things because it's sort of messy. They do have a lot to choose from and the man working was very nice. We enjoyed our visit and we found a vase.

(The vintage store next door shares that honor.) This may not be where you come to find higher end antiques, but there's definitely a great deal of vintage odds & ends here. There's even salvage. Hours are 11 AM to 5 PM-- FRIDAY THRU SUNDAY. Not only is there a small house filled w/ merchandise, but step outside under the carports to browse the large quantity of additional merchandise. What might you discover? Glassware, bakeware, & serving sets; toys & games; miscellaneous wall decor; furniture; lamps & lighting features; tools; clothing & shoes; costume jewelry; small appliances; vases; golf clubs; misc sporting goods; wood pens & cutting boards (both new); candles, homemade soaps, & rag dolls (all new), etc-- SEE ALL THE PICS Seriously LOW PRICES on everything, yet there were still many items discounted up to 50%. The female owner was very sweet & her Mexican hairless puppy was fascinating-- I couldn't resist snapping a picture:) Will we return when in the area again? Of course! My buddy was able to pick up a legitimate mid-century metal, butterfly wall sculpture for almost nothing. Although he's going to keep it for his home, now that it's been cleaned up & he's added three glass vintage votive candleholders, he could easily sell it & make a large profit on it. This vintage shoppe sits beside The Florida Farmhouse Market. DEFINITELY STOP IN should you enjoy anything vintage, along w/ savings! And do converse w/ the lovely owner. She was so gracious & appreciative of having her business added to Yelp.

And now, thanks to Valhalla, that dream is a reality. The idea of having an extended wardrobe without worrying about laundry is incredible. My first visit is still one of my favorite memories. Sheliza had an entire rack curated just for me, filled with pieces that matched my style perfectly. It felt personal, thoughtful, and fun. The membership pricing is fair, and the heart behind the business shows. Danielle, the owner, recently offered to direct monthly membership fees toward helping a member and coworker cover medical expenses. Something you don't often see in a business. It's environmentally friendly, creative, and women-owned. What more could you ask for?

I never liked shopping because I was constantly comparing my body to the way I thought clothes were "supposed" to look on me; I was always overwhelmed and discouraged in big-brand stores, consignment shops, and small boutiques. It turns out I don't hate shopping - I just needed help from people who care about inclusivity and understanding. The clothes and jewelry are priced fairly and organized well. Being a member is worthwhile - I often pop in the day of an event I'm attending and walk out with a perfect outfit catered to my style and comfort. Valhalla is completely unique; fighting the good fight in opposition to fast fashion. I feel important and special here - I have saved money and energy by being a member.

First, when I said I had misunderstood the website about whether they do store credit or cash (their St. Pete location does it differently), she responded with "That's why I asked if you wanted to go over it." A better response would have been "I can see why that would be confusing." Or just nothing. Then, when she said I was only allowed to give one basket full of items and there was a quarter of the basket left, I asked if I could grab a few more items from my car parked right outside, and instead of "Sure," it was, "I don't know how to answer that for you. You would have to make that decision." I'm not sure where the judgment comes from, but Revolve can keep on revolving without me... see y'all at Goodwill.

It is a little boy who hangs out in the front of the store, throws clothes on the floor, and just comes back and forth and likes to press one of the buttons on the cash register. One of the ladies working knew about it. The other did not. He also likes to go back and forth from this store and Le France. The clothes here are fun. Lots of different styles. Tons of accessories and lots to see. I really like this store. Thanks to the little boy spirit, I learned what was sold here.
