The bottom floor has all the good books. I came in looking for Penpal a friend recommended this book and someone was able to help me find it and bought it. Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). There's just about every type of physical media on offer from vinyls to vhs and of course books for everyone. I love that we're giving old books new life and also saving money while the kids get to read more! It's a win-win-win. We bought an entire basket of books for around $10 and I don't feel too bad when my 2 year old accidentally rips a book at home anymore. I really love what they're doing here and hope they continue doing well. I'd love to see them start a little coffee shop inside one day as I think that would really amp up sales and enjoyment.

Not only is this place cool they have serious history in there on those shelves. They have books from the early 1900s, 1800's and I think late 1700s too if I'm not mistaken. Just seeing them and being able to touch them is such a cool experience, i was blown away . Definitely go show some support and pick up some books and help support this awesome business.

We walked in on what I think was the back side, and welcoming us was the cutest book store. We browsed around before walking through and seeing the courtyard area and maybe a candle bar and another area that had gorgeous decor near the hostess area. There was also the chicest Champagne Bar, which is perfect for Instagram photos for the photogenic people while you wait. We didn't have reservations, but the wait was only 30 mins or so, so we walked to the University's campus across the street, which was interesting too, but that's for another post. I received a text once my table was ready. I ordered the breakfast taco's and substituted the meat for grilled chicken. My friend ordered the Simply Breakfast Sandwich and substituted grilled chicken, too. The tacos were enormous. They were enough to keep me full the rest of the day. (Maybe it was all the protein). When I say everything was delicious and seasoned to perfection, you didn't need an ounce of additional seasoning. The crispy potatoes were some of the best potatoes I've had as well. I wanted the cinnamon, which was on a special menu for that day, but opted not to get it since my waistline expands at the thought of food! You also have to know that I didn't stop eating there though because I'm a foodie! Lol. Most of the people there were dressed Friday business casual and/or chic. I was fresh off the plane from an early morning flight, but felt comfortable in my attire.
