Upon officially being old enough to post my experience attending this school, I want to voice my…read moretime going here. For starters, it was an easy and welcoming enrollment. The majority of the teachers and faculty and sweet and caring and genuine people. However, there were a few times that really impacted me because of teachers/faculty. A teacher who I believe still works at this school, Laura Eisele (English/ELA teacher) made my time at this school an absolute living hell from my first day to my last. My first day attending, my phone was sticking out of my back pocket just a smidge, and I had not been messing with it or using it and it was in no way a distraction and nobody was paying any mind to it. She walked behind me, angrily told me to put it in my backpack, and I had been confused cause I forgot the phone was even on me, and she yelled at me in front of everyone and told me "well I don't know what they did at your old school but we don't do that" and she made me feel VERY embarrassed and uncomfortable. From then on she was an absolute bitch to every student in her class besides the quiet ones. Not a day went by where we weren't screamed at or made to feel bad about ourselves. I had missed school for a few weeks due to a family death once, and when I came back and was trying to get caught up on missed work she once again embarrassed me in front of everybody and made me feel like absolute shit for missing school and then made me feel stupid for showing up again. I couldn't tell you a damn thing she taught me during my time here either because I was also walking on eggshells in her class and I had intense anxiety around her. Secondly, it was in my health records that I struggled with one of my kidneys and had issues with fainting during certain activities. I had missed the day to do the mile run in gym class because of this, and my mom even told a faculty member about my issue and that she did not want me doing the mile run and I had a doctors note to go with it. On the day of make-ups for students who missed the mile run, I was forced to attend and upon telling the gym teacher I didn't think I could, ESPECIALLY without a water bottle, she told me to walk it. This was embarrassing as I was the only student walking and it took me 15 minutes to complete. When I got done walking this, I had to rush from the track to my next class in science. Upon arriving to this next class (late), my teacher immediately sent me to the nurse because I had been very visibly pale and faint. I did faint and the nurse just had me lie down, gave me crackers, and had me drink water and sent me back to class. Thirdly, the principal at the time of when I attended had a daughter also attending the school in my grade. Her and her friends were very much so favorited by faculty and staff of the school and they also were mean girls to other students. If anyone stood up for themselves against these girls, they would run to the daughter's mom (the principal) and we would be shushed for trying to prevent bullying to ourselves. Fourthly, a teacher assistant faculty member would favorite students a lot too. One lunch period my friend began bleeding from her period all over her pants, and I had rushed her to the lunchroom bathroom to help her clean up and provide her with a tampon. This faculty member came in yelling at us and forced us out of the bathroom while she had blood all over herself. But she allowed the principal's daughter and her friend to be in the bathroom whenever and however long for whatever reason. I begged my mom so hard to be homeschooled and removed from this school. I would have rather been learning alone and secluded from other people than continue being at this school. The day I left this school knowing I'd never have to return was one of the BEST days of my life and super memorable for all the right reasons. There were good parts of this school like certain teachers, certain classes, and my bus driver I had.
