ok so I don't really write reviews but felt like i should for these guys. I have 2 properties in NJ…read more(one in kearny area, one further out) and was having a really hard time keeping up with everything especially the compliance stuff which honestly goes over my head half the time. Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Would def recommend to other landlords in NJ especially if your portfolio is growing and you cant manage everything yourself anymore. 5 stars from me

Questions are answered directly, updates are provided without having to chase them, and expectations are set clearly from the start. Their professional skill shows in how smoothly issues are handled and how well they navigate complex situations. It is clear they know what they are doing and take their responsibilities seriously. Based on my experience, RPPM stands out for strong communication and competence, and I would recommend them without hesitation.

At…read moreevery turn, they've shown nothing but active hostility to residents requesting the bare minimum regarding their safety in their buildings. Under no circumstance should you trust these people with your living situation. In their Broadway Crescent Building, a resident has been allowed to suffer for years with a mental health crisis. Rather than being proactive in removing the individual from the property and getting them the help they need and deserve, they are instead allowed to slam on their door with a hammer all night, destroy their appliances and throw them in the hallway, and threaten other tenants and people on the street. To name just a few examples. See the attached photo of the door in question for a taste of what living in an M&N-owned building is like. Management has remained committed to not communicating with residents who are rightly scared to be in their own homes. In fact, they often ignore calls from tenants asking for information about the situation, or, if they actually pick up their phones, treat them as if they are a waste of time. The management team making up this company should not be allowed to be responsible for human beings' homes and well-being, and in fact, have shown a blatant disregard for the quality of life of people they gleefully accept money from. tl;dr: rent somewhere else.

I have been a diligent tenant in one of their buildings since 2014, almost ten years now. I have been calling the management office intermittently since July of 2022 to inquire about the availability of three bedroom apartments within the same building. Was told each time that I've been added to their "waitlist" and would be called when an apartment opened up. This was not the case. I was never called and found out too late that a three bedroom apartment on the same floor of my building, just across the hall from my apartment was listed on Street Easy on on 4/4/23, was up for four days then delisted on 4/7/23, rented out to new tenants. When I called the management office back to inquire about this the gentleman I spoke with seemed to be surprised by this information. Nor were they aware I was on any waitlist to be called for an opening for a three bedroom apartment, nor could they come up with a response as to why I was not called. Needless to say I am very disappointed and very disheartened with this incident because I absolutely love my building and neighborhood and would love to remain here. It is also very concerning to know that they do not have an efficient way to track these interactions system wide. **UPDATE** I called the management office on 7/20/23 to inquire about apartment availability and to confirm I was still on their waitlist only to be told there was no waitlist and that I would have to call at the end of each month for availability. I then called on 9/1/23 to check for apartment availability to then be told that there is a new protocol that was put in place two months ago that required people interested in apartments to complete a registration form. At no point was I informed of this when I called on 7/20/23, less than two months ago. I have ongoing emails with members of the management office team consistently asking why these issues and miscommunications keep arising. No one will directly answer my questions and I have been continuously disregarded. Absolutely no one has acknowledged that they have dropped the ball on this entire situation. Additional update: still no response to my inquiries as to why the ball was dropped and why so much misinformation was provided to me, but was pretty much told to look elsewhere. Have the email chain to back it up

Their sub almost change the whole kitchen layout from what was on the site plan. I had to call Ridgeco for them to know what was going on. We also had agreed to put in the grass in a mulched area (in the contract) but they never did. Ive called them numerous times and left voicemails, but there was no return call. Please don't work with these guys. They develop a good amount of homes in Bergen county...if you are going to work with them, dont buy their homes that have not been finished yet. Terrible service.

My mother is in the process selling her house. She's had nothing but stress and grief. Gerri…read more(Geraldette Iovino) is the worst real estate agent! She was very active in showing the home for sure. However, once an offer came through she has been doing the absolute minimum at BEST! My mother was never presented with any paperwork of ANY kind outlining numbers of what she would be taking home from the sale of the home, a "sellers net sheet," as agents know it. When my mother asked about it Gerri said she didn't know what she was talking about. She gave her a rough estimate which was verbal and nothing was in writing. I have a friend who does real estate in Pennsylvania and her real estate agent in south Jersey (where the home she's buying is located) are shocked by this. They are also astounded by her lack of professionalism and her lack of respect and commitment. Her job is to lead her client through the sale of the house. I mean we could've listed it without an agent if we didn't want ANY guidance. FURTHERMORE and IMPORTANT:She also listed the house WELL BELOW the value of the home. I believe because she wanted to sell it ASAP. It appears greed is her true motivation here. For my mother, The additional 20 grand that she could have gotten , is a lot for her. For the listing agent it's only about $800 so she doesn't care. My mother was in no rush and is now scrambling to move because this woman wants her commission. The home did not pass the initial certificate of occupancy, so my mother needs more time to get the required things up to code. She told Gerri and her response was, "well the buyers are ready to move." What kind of person pushes a 70 year old woman, who's lived in her home for over 20 years to move from her home in less than a month??? The agent's job is to speak on behalf of her client, to represent her client. It's felt like all she's done is represent the buyer! We are in the final stages of the sale now and my mom feels like her hands are tied. The agent recently said she's not coming to the closing. It is not required however her excuse is she has plans! (She's known about this for over a month) just another example of her level of respect. I'm filing a formal complaint with the BBB and you can find my reviews on google and everywhere else I can review this agency and this greedy unscrupulous woman. She shouldn't have a license and the company who she works for should be held accountable. UPDATE: Just discovered the lawyer she recommended is up for inducement for money laundering! Here is the article on Google! https://www.google.com/amp/s/njcorruption.wordpress.com/2017/04/20/fort-lee-mayor-sokolichs-money-laundering-law-partner-appointed-fort-lee-commissioner-after-bergen-prosecutors-make-charges-disappear/amp/ AVOID THIS WOMAN, HER AGENCY, AND HER LAWYER!!! crooks!
