We waited more than a year, and got a call from a coordinator just to be told "Don't send your kid…read morehere", "We are not miracle workers". We had to make a very dramatic entrance to the clinic because we had to put up a fight. After starting speech & OT, we were then greeted by very unhelpful insurance coordinator. Our child is not on the spectrum so he didn't have unlimited access to therapies, which ultimately led us to pay completely out of pocket. One day we've learned how the speech therapists at KCC are in "trouble" if they can't get the kids to speak. That's why they wanted our son to go elsewhere because he was a severe case of apraxia and not a good "marketing material" for not being able to sell a success story in x amount of time. We have connected with other renowned speech therapy, and left for good. The kind that do not abandon therapies. It was the best decision we made for our son. It is also pretty odd that they are in this business for more than 30 years and they only have 13 google reviews.

The owner is a certified art therapist and counselor and really helps guide you through your own creation that not only is a creative experience but incredibly therapeutic. I'm not creative at all, but it really pushed me to not only get creative but look within in a really mindful and enlightening way. I also took my eleven year old daughter and it was such a great bonding experience. Perfect for parties, date nights, or even if you need your time for self-care. Such a fun and beneficial time and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I have to say that I am beyond blown away by his progress by the care of the office staff and therapists as well as the owner. How seen, heard, and loved my son knows that he is every day that he is there. Our speech therapist, Reem, has been working with my son for one month now- (8 sessions), he went from having as few as 3 words (up down and cat) at our initial evaluation to becoming like a river that has burst through a dam. As of today he can identify shapes, colors, numbers, animals, and people. He only likes to say his dad's name and hasn't mastered speaking and communication quite yet but the progress we are observing is incredible. It brings me to tears every single time I hear my boy's voice come up with something new. The office is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, accommodating, kind, and loving. Delays or not, his brother will be joining this facility as soon as he's old enough as well.

It takes me some time to drive here but it is so worth the progress I experience. Therapists are given time for hands on therapy. Tammy and Diann W are amazing. Both also specialize in Lymphedema,Lipedema and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization/ scar therapy. If you are thinking about the drive, do it. I would never have made the progress I have without their help. Any staff I have encountered is attentive and professional.From the time I reach the front door until I leave. Parking is not far. They won't give you treatment plan before ensuring they get a payment commitment and claim they have later hours prior to the evaluation and then they don't because they are not staffed properly. Only have one Therapist. Very unprofessional. They just want you to commit to them blindly.
