If you look closely, you might spot a heron or several turtles coming out of the mud, marching slowly toward the tidal waters as the river's edge fills back in. You can even access Vaughan Woods from a footpath, if you'd like to get a hike in. Of course, you can always bring a blanket, a picnic, and just enjoy the gorgeousness that surrounds you. Bathroom situation: in season there's a wee house-type structure that opens into a single, large bathroom. It appears to be cleaned and stocked regularly.

Josiah's Meetinghouse is along a major route, which makes it easy to find but adds traffic sounds to ceremonies outside. Cranking the music helped our party drown it out. As long as they're not busy, they're pretty generous with time.

Neon Lights continuously flash their logo across the wedding guests. The epitome of tackiness and tastelessness. I've never seen anything like it. I'm not sure if it shows up in photos but; it sure was an eyesore in person. Overall, an enjoyable night, as Weddings usually are but; I sure wouldn't recommend Josiah's Meetinghouse. Especially for an evening affair with mixed age attendees.

When we arrived we were greeted with the friendliest staff! Warm and welcoming. We got to our room and it was very clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. We had dinner at the restaurant in the Inn Dufour and it was amazing! The food was cooked perfectly and tasted so good!! We cannot wait to go back! We had the most comfortable nights sleep. We had a wedding on Friday and as we left everyone was amazing and wished us well, same when we returned that evening. We will be definitely going back for a quick getaway!!
