The employees are not the friendliest and last time I was there I was chided by one for an incident that several people witnessed and it was not at all what the employees said it was. My daughter went down the slide and slammed her crotch on another kid's leg. She started to cry and the employee said she had been crying awhile when I thanked her for getting my daughter out, as she was 4 feet closer to the bounce house than I was. Often my daughter does not seek "rescue" when she gets hurt anyways. I usually see if she wants to come to me or not. My friend's daughter was with my daughter when it happened and we all could see that she had not been "crying for quite awhile". We were standing around the corner from the employee and out of sight to her, but we were watching the whole time. I found it pretty rude. It is an okay place to let kids blow off steam, but I like the overall set up at Twice the Fun in Dover better and the staff are more friendly. By the way, if they truly thought I was in violation of their rules or was not watching my daughter, they should have said it in a more professional manner instead of a snide remark. I think it was unprofessional.

I have had to call there four or five times and still have only received half of what is owed back to me. Often times the staff has to take a message and they say they will be sure to pass it along but you may want to call back the owner your self-seems like they know she is not going to follow through with any type of refund unless you hound her. I have spoken to the owner 3 times and have left voice mails. Each time she says she will take care of it right away and then doesn't. Frustrating! It is also nerve racking with my two and three year old because many parents of the older kids do not pay attention to what they are doing and how rough they are being around the younger ones. My son loves the loop with the cars but my daughter has been taken out while trying to cross it. They need to figure out a way to make it more safe. Both kids do have fun but is stressful as a parent to go there when there are a lot of checked out parents of older kids. I would have given it a three if it was not for my on-going refund issue.

It is very crowded when some league games are on. Overall it is an excellent and well-maintained place to take a walk and do some sports you like. *This review is for Jet Ski rentals*…read more I have been going to Hampton Beach my life. And one hour with Adventure Charters warped my whole vision of what Hampton had to offer. What do I know about jet skis? Pretty much nothing. I have a driver's license but I've never driven anything more exotic than a go-kart or a vespa. So when my boyfriend suggesting renting jet skis during our vacation my immediate reaction was to LEAP at the suggestion and then slowly return to reality. 1. I have no idea how to ride one 2. I may get eaten by sharks (I just watched Shark Week!). So we called up Adventure Charters (the only place in Hampton Beach that rents jet skis). They were super friendly and answered all of my questions thoroughly and pleasantly. Since I don't have a boating license, I'd have to fill out a quick test to give me a 14 day temporary license. Then it's $85/hour per jet ski, no matter how many people on the jet ski. That sounds great. Flash forward to August when we walk past all the deep sea fishing shacks. We were greeted by the friendly and genuinely pleasant people working there who explained the little instruction book and test. Test took maybe 15 minutes and cost $20 to take. But no worries, that fee is applied toward the jet ski fee. Then we paid the $500 deposit on each jet ski and the remaining $65 per jet ski. The place provides life jackets, which you must wear, and wet suits, which are optional. I thought we'd need them since NH is notorious for FREEZING COLD lips turning purple water. But not so. The man who took us to the dock was so nice and put all my fears to rest. He even took our pictures on the jet ski and put them on their facebook wall for us to see later. (we couldn't find a water-proof disposable camera on the way there. boo) ZOMG jet skis are my favorite thing in the world. About halfway through our hour, i stopped the jet ski, turned to my boyfriend and insisted that we buy one (ok maybe two) for ourselves. I felt so safe. It was so easy to handle. And we went speeeeding through the waves. An hour was a perfect amount of time. There's a little clock on the "dashboard" next to the speedometer to keep track of when you need to return. We had plenty of time to test our courage and have fun and get back on time. We then walked, back returned the life jackets, got our things (which they were nice enough to keep behind the counter so they were not destroyed). We started planning next year's trip as we walked out the door. Nothing negative to say about this company!

Danville Community Center was previously known as the Danville Fire Association Hall until the Town…read morepurchased it in 2011. They made a lot of improvements to it (new secure entry doors, upgraded/updated kitchen and washrooms, etc.). They kept the rustic knotty pine panelling. Not my thing, but it warms up what would otherwise be a sterile commercial building. It's the polling place for all municipal, state and federal voting events, used by several town organizations (some committees, youth sports leagues, senior luncheons, I think guides and scouts, etc.). Town earns some revenue by renting it out for private functions. And blood drives are held here. Used to be just once a year around Christmas, but now I think Red Cross comes three times. Residents of Danville seem to be getting a good deal of use from the Community Center. Dare I say money well spent? ;)

There are courses built out all over the gym for the kids and they're different every week. They get especially creative around the holidays. They move around the gym to different stations with creative obstacle courses, like climbing along the rungs of a ladder and trying not to fall through the cracks into the swamp with the alligators or hopping over the witches hats on the balance beam! All this really keeps the kids engaged. The teachers are very patient as the little kids aren't usually following all of the directions and they keep the environment fun. Even when my son gets scared of new things, the instructors give the kids the space and support they need to get them motivated to participate. On top of making the classes super fun for the kids, Planet Gymnastics goes above and beyond and recognizes each kid periodically throughout the year with medals, giving them a sense of accomplishment and something to physically bring home for all of their hard work.
